I have never had better service. I have never had so many compliments about my Fendi glasses!

However, I was told it would take two weeks for my glasses to come back from their lab. It has been over a month and still no glasses. Every time I call to check, I am told they are working on them. Why say two weeks?

I pushed her to break down the costs and provide more details. She only told me that progressive lenses have become more expensive in recent years. I trusted her and purchased my glasses that day. Later on, I compared my invoice to my dental plan benefits. The Optician had incorrectly charged me twice for the same lenses. I contacted VSP insurance. VSP confirmed that my invoice needed to be corrected and that I had been overcharged about $200. ( Twinsburg Eye Associates (TEA) is a "VSP Premiere Provider." ) I called the vision office to discuss my invoice with them. Up to this point, I am giving TWA the benefit of the Doubt. Even though I questioned the invoice a couple of times on my initial visit, I was hoping they would correct my bill and refund my overpayment. Instead, I was told by one of their staffers that the double cost was because they billed each lens separately. I said, "really? I just spoke with VSP, and they said that's not accurate. VSP told me to call you to request a refund." The staffer was silent for a moment and then, in her most condescending tone, said, "oh, well, we have to charge you for lab materials anyway, so it is what it is." I replied, "None of what you have told me today or on my visit two days ago feels right to me. Honestly, it feels shady. I'd like a refund." She very quickly agreed to cancel my order and refund my money, almost as if she didn't want me probing any further. VSP has granted me a second covered eye exam this year in order to find a reputable establishment to purchase glasses. I would steer clear of Twinsburg Eye Associates. TEA has the feel of a car dealership. They 'wow' you with all the latest technology during the eye exam and then hit you with a big bill for contacts or glasses without giving you any options or explanations. It's obvious they would rather have their patients not ask questions and pay the bill. If you ask questions, they deflect or come up with additional line items that make your total larger. Very, very shady.

I asked Lori if they would script me 1 bottle because the wait time is so long for an appointment and they have 2 exam results showing I have glaucoma. I didn't like the Dr. that saw me previously. He has since retired. I tried to tell Lori that when I was diagnosed the Dr made it very clear I needed to take the drops every day. Whenever I said "dr" she would rudely interrupt with the dr's name. She has a very strange fascination with this guys last name. Then she would start reading something about how in 2020 Dr. Bozo wanted to see me. I interrupted, trying to state my current concern. She was unable to switch her tact from self-aggrandizement to one that is customer focused. She kept repeating some nonsense about 2020. She finally said, "now, when you come in here..." I interrupted that I was not going to set foot in that place since she was unable to listen to customers. I had a great experience at Broad View Eye Clinic who listened to me, got me in for an appt in 2 days, while also monitoring for earlier canceled appointments. If I would have waited the almost 3 weeks for the appointment, I could have suffered loss of vision due to not having glaucoma drops. Lori, working at an eye clinic, had no idea and didn't care one iota. She's too busy reciting Dr. bozo's name over and over again. The next person I talked with at this office was about transferring my records to the other clinic. They told me my prescription was expired. I had to tell her again that I have 2 glaucoma test results that need transferred. She was dumbfounded. She said they couldn't send the records because there wasn't paperwork on file. She wanted me to come pick it up a form in 7 degree weather. She was not sure if she was "allowed" to send the form via email. Seriously. Stay away from this place. They don't care about your eyes.
