I found this place on my vision providers website. I'd never seen this place, but I am very familiar with the area. Scheduling an appointment online was easy and they followed up with a confirmation call and text. The staff was extremely nice and I actually enjoyed that the practice had some updated equipment that I hadn't seen. I was so happy to pay an extra $39 to have a picture taken of my eye, rather than having that puff of air blown in my eye. While there wasn't a huge selection of frames, they had some very nice options. read more

I promised myself a few years ago that I would never walk in Eyetique ever again because of poor service that I had experienced there. But a few weeks ago while looking through the window a kind woman, called out to me and welcomed me to Eyetique. I later learned that her name was Michelle and after talking with her about just the frames I had been admiring, I was ready to give them another try. Just last week my glasses arrived. Michelle called me directly and gave me the hours of the store and the times in which worked best to come in. I went to the store last Thursday. Michelle had already polished my glasses. She set me down to ensure that everything was the right fit and invited me back to have the glasses tuned up as they get more comfortable on my face. I love Eyetiques selection, but the only reason why I drove from Columbus, Ohio to the Pepperpike suburb was because of Michelle, she is kind, considerate, and a true professional. read more

We had an in person appointment today, one right after the other. We were a few minutes late because of inclement weather. Was told no problem, the appointments went off uneventful. But... my wife and I were given a eye test we had never had before. I have worn glasses all my life. This is the first time a medical professional has taken the time to do this. Mind you the test took less than 2 minutes. I feel that these will be the best glasses I have ever been prescribed. We both applaud Dr. Ross and her staff for all that they did for us. I stumbled onto this place in Eton Shopping Center by chance and loved the selection of quality eyewear. Since I moved to the area, I have been looking for just this kind of eyewear boutique to give individualized attention to make the process of getting glasses more enjoyable. I do not mind paying for excellent customer service and quality of product. The Susan Ross,O.D. was excellent and patient and didn't make me feel nervous/bad at not being able to read the lines. I've had experiences where I have been afraid to speak. Johnny Michnay made frame selection a FUN venture and helped to make me feel confident about the final choice. It is rare where a sales person is able to draw out your particular tastes to make you feel good about the selection as opposed to someone pushing frames on you to get "something" or that you're trying the sales person's patience. The frames I chose were being sent from their PA store, and I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get the desired frames and lenses and picked them up in less than a week. Johnny custom altered the frames as needed to comfortably fit me. Quite frankly, it's the first time I've ever felt like the frames were a part of me and not an annoying accessory. Overall, the whole experience was like shopping with a friend and an expert as opposed to shopping from a store that was trying to take my $ and sell me the highest price item. I would gladly go back again when the time comes. And as long as I'm in the area, they will have me as a customer. read more

This place has a fair collection of eyeglasses, nothing unique compared to other places. the downside however is the unprofessional and somewhat "rude" customer service (which deserves a 1 star). I just picked up my first pair of Eyetique glasses from the Eton/Beachwood, OH location. By far best customer service I've ever had at a eye glass business. The care that Andrew provides the second you walk into the store is bar none the best in business! I was out shopping for other things in Eton Plaza and noticed this place. I paused for a moment then was welcomed by an associate. The young man was full of useful information and encourage me to try them out. Overall I am pleased with my experience despite some bumps. My appointment was 12/30/14 @ 2:30, I arrived early but was told they would be 20 minutes behind, no problem, it was more like 40-45 minutes, the Dr was professional and apologized but I didn't leave until slightly after 4. I had another appointment at 4 which I was late for... Fast forward to 1/13/15, as I was wondering when I would get my glasses, I did receive a call today. The associate was very apologetic, made sure my glasses were fitted properly, gave my care packages for my glasses, and nice travel case. I'm going to send my husband and see how he likes his experience. We all make mistakes but I was slightly disappointed. They make it hard note to come back :) read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! There glasses are OURTRAGEOUS!! They made me sign a form before telling me the price. $1300 for two pairs of glasses. Never explained they would charge for a warranty. Completely terrible customer service. They take advantage of people. You are better off at ANY OTHER corporate optician. read more

I have been an Eyetique customer for more than 20 years, first in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill office and then when I moved to Ohio and they opened in Stow. My last pair of glasses from Eyetique Pittsburgh had problems with the lens crackling on the surface, and they would not stand behind the product. I gave them another chance here in Ohio because I like their frame selection, and yet again, I had different problem with the lens, and again Eyetique would not stand behind their product. It's ALWAYS the customer's fault, in my case, looking through a pair of binoculars (an unreasonable reason for a lens to lose its coating, didn't happen to my husband's glasses). When I pay $800+ for a pair of glasses, and have been a loyal customer, I would expect better treatment. I find their lens of poor quality ... twice burned ... their service is snooty, and I will never buy from Eyetique again! read more

I have been going here for years and was happy with the service when it was Co-op, but did not have a good experience there recently. When I was looking for frames the salesperson followed me around, hovering, and made me uncomfortable, the frames are very expensive and then I was upsold on lots of different lens options. The total after insurance, was over $700 for a pair of glasses. I have a strong prescription but that was ludicrous. So instead I ordered new contacts. Almost 3 weeks later and I still haven't received them. I had to call, was put on hold for over 5 minutes (hold tape is one long annoying Eyetique commercial - does NOT make it easy to stay on hold!) and told by James (my original sales person) that he doesn't know what happened. He had to reorder, could not expedite, and did not apologize, just said he would re-order them. Now I have to wait another week. These things never happened with Co-op. I will not be returning or ordering anything else from them. read more

I have been getting my glasses at LensCrafters for 15+ years. I think that I became so accustomed to going there that I settled for the fact that the selection wasn't great(especially in recent years). Also, I never felt that I had anyone really helping me make a selection. My friend had a great experience at Eyetique and urged me to check it out. A few weeks ago my husband and I made a visit and I'm so glad that we did. The moment we walked in the door we were greeted warmly. The staff immediately started pulling glasses that they thought might work for us. Throughout the hour long visit my husband and I each had one on one help. When we made our selections we were assured that they would do their very best to have them made for us within a few hours. We weren't going to hold them to it. After all it was already about 4:00 on a Saturday in which they close at 6. We were pleasantly surprised when they did manage to in fact get them done! The service was outstanding and the selection was great as well. We will absolutely be back. read more
