This place is amazing! I have been to so many different optometrists due to terrible vision and various eye problems. I have had a lot of experiences - good and bad - and I can honestly say that Eyezone is the best I have ever been to. From the moment you walk in the door to the beautiful lobby, you are greeted warmly. Before my appointment, they were very helpful with answering questions about certain exams that my insurance covered. The forms were easy to fill out (most of them you can do online beforehand) and before I knew it, the appointment had began. The pre-exam was an absolute breeze. I was ushered from room to room with speed, though I didn't feel like anything was being missed. I just got the sense that they understood that my time was valuable and wanted to make everything as efficient as possible. After that, I didn't wait in the exam room that long before my doctor was there. She was just amazing. Conversation with her was so easy, something I rarely experience with a medical professional. She did the standard tests and figured out my vision perfectly, and she was great about answering questions I had and even mentioning that pregnancy and breastfeeding can change my vision a bit, something that not even my medical doctor had told me! She was extremely knowledgeable and I found it easy to trust everything she said. When it was time to pick out my glasses, the gal that helped me was equally awesome. She was patient with my picky self, and chose a frame that I never would've picked up and it turned out to be the perfect fit for my facial structure. She was very up-front about what my insurance covered, and the options that I had with my high prescription. She had a smile on her face the entire time and made me feel so welcome. Overall, it is clear that everyone in this office works hard to create a comforting and warm environment. They are efficient and diligent, but slow down for questions and concerns where needed. Eyezone is a great place for your eye care needs! I was pleasantly surprised at the great customer service and punctuality. So what I mean by that is they were open at the correct time. They were actually open before their posted time which gave me enough time to do my paperwork before hand of my actual appointment making for a timely and efficient check up. This is a great office and the staff is friendly and punctual. Actually, the staff seems to like to be there meaning they are likely to be better at customer service which it really shows. They are also very flexible when it comes to your appointment, so if you need to reschedule just call them up to do so. Dr. Sullivan was my doctor and she did an excellent job. I was made to feel comfortable and felt like I was in good hands. I would recommend Dr. Sullivan to anyone who is in the market for a new eye doctor. Great job to you and all your staff! The parking can get a bit full if they have a lot of people here. But I didn't have my trouble finding a spot right up front. The building is conveniently located and easy to access. Just keep in mind coming into their complex/building it is a one way street. So make sure your going the right way. They take insurance and other forms of payment. They can take cash or credit card. Also, you can get an eye exam for a prescription on glasses and/or contacts. Also they have a great selection of glasses in their office. I need to check them out next time I stop by. But if your in the market for a pair of glasses or contacts. I would recommend this place. My experience here has been great. I got a treatment for dry eyes and now I owe so much money for a treatment that did absolutely nothing for me my problems all remain the same. The treatment lasted for that one day only that I got it done on. Waste on money I'm now having to make payments for a whole year for something I wish I could take back. Do not recommend. And the lady I spoke to over the phone (Sara) to get some answers from was rude and did not answer my questions and made me feel as if I was annoying her. 1st - I established that they accept Prominence Healthcare Insurance; THEY DO! 2nd - I drove by & stopped in, my visual inspection & impression; ALL FAVORABLE! 3rd - I made an appointment with Dr. Mark Michitsch, OD & owner. who was promptly available after "Staff" had taken my paperwork & taken a digital image of my retina. He went about checking my eyes & took plenty of time in determining my exact prescriptions for each eye. 4th - I paid the $30.00 co-pay for the exam 5th - "Staff" then showed me frames for children even though I am 75 years old. I have a small face & children's size frames are sturdy & fit my face just right. I was never pressured to consider more expensive frames. 6th - I paid for the glasses & frames, a week later they called me & had them in their office, I drove right over, was admitted, & "Staff" brought out my new Distance & Reading glasses/frames. 7th - The frames were a perfect fit & both the Distance & Reading glasses definitely improved & sharpened my vision & thankfully, everything with Prominence Health Care was approved in a timely manner. I now consider Eye Zone to be my Go-To Opticians here in Reno & will readily & whole-heartedly RECOMMEND Eye Zone to others. read more

Leslie is sweetest best person you will ever meet. .Laura is incredible too...we walk in even after year and are greeted by name with warmest welcome. As s recent customer of Eye Zone I recently received a request to refer a friend. I will not be referring anyone because I am not a satisfied customer. The cost was very expensive. The examination was well done. However, the frame selection was very limited The fit is not comfortable. Just too tight. The transition doesn't work well while in a car compared to my last pair of glasses (which cost 1/3 of the price of these) so I'm constantly driving in glare. The area of clear focus (progressive lens) is very limited compared to my last pair. When I picked the glasses up there was much more effort put into making me pay before I was given a chance to try on the glasses than in how they fit. No cleaning supplies were offered except for two pieces of cloth. It took a month between exam and getting the glasses. read more

Just got done with my eyeglass exam and contacts fitting. Everything went pretty smoothly and I'm very satisfied with my experience here! Service: Spoke with Kendra on the phone to ask what my insurance covers and she was extremely helpful in answering all my questions. She was also able to fit me in that day! Friendly and informative--great service here from the start. Misty was also great in helping me select frames and checking me out! I had Dr. Mark Michitsch. Straight to the point kind of guy, which I appreciated. Although there must've been some sort of miscommunication and I didn't get the contacts fitting I had initially requested. But they were able to get me back in the room and go from there quickly. Glasses selection: I didn't like any of the limited number of frames my insurance covered. So I'll be using an old pair of frames, which they'll replace without an extra charge! Can't complain there. As far as the rest of their selection, it's decent but none caught my eye. However, I'm very picky and most glasses fit oddly on my face anyway. I don't have much of a bridge. Price: You get a discount for paying in cash! Glasses and contacts were pricey, but they all are. Bioinfinity Toric monthlies for one box would've been about $80. I'll be buying my contacts online. All in all, staff were great, easy and quick process, and I'll definitely recommend to others and come back again! read more

I've been coming here for 4 years now. The office staff are very warm and welcoming and get you in right away. I think I've sat down in the waiting area one time to see the dr., other than that right after signing in my appointment starts. From walking in the door to walking out I spend about 30 min or so. Dr. Michitsch is very nice and listens to any questions and/or concerns that I bring up. The only downside to the office is they don't have a very big selection of frames. read more

The doctor's at this facility are amazing the staff are friendly and welcoming my only complaint is that their customer service could use an upgrade. On two separate occasions I never received a phone call when my contacts were in, both times they stated they sent an email or text from whatever program it is that they're using. However, the first time they used this excuse they stated they would annotate that I expected a call per my request. That was never put in the in the system. I can only hope on the third time this will not happen again I spend a lot of money at eyezone I I appreciate the convenience of being able to order my contacts right where I get my care but I have to honestly say I would appreciate better customer service read more

When I arrived, I was notified there was no appointment in the computer, and there was no doctor on site. First I have to say I have a mixed review. My wife went first and had some friendly service and some indifference, but she really liked the Doctor and got her glasses faster than promised. I went with my teenagers and we all had fast and friendly service. We also all felt the Doctor was excellent. My twins got their glasses in four days. On the other hand...I'm still waiting. 23 days. I found Dr. Rowan from a Groupon deal. The deal was incredible and Dr. Rowan and his staff were knowledgeable and friendly. My only complaint that keeps that fifth star is that the contacts that ended up being ordered were not the ones I had sampled and loved. They asked my permission before changing the order since the others were discontinued, but I had assumed the substitution would at least be similar. It wasn't even the same brand. That's partly my fault for not verifying everything with them. I hated the contacts that came in, but the staff was great about it. They returned my unopened boxes and ordered more similar contacts. So even without another groupon, I'll make this office my regular eye doctor! read more

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I cannot express enough just how Awesome Dr. Rowan, Sunday and the rest of the staff are here! In a nutshell, I have been suffering & I MEAN SUFFERING (to the point of wanting my eyes removed!) with vision problems related to the now correctly diagnosed Meibomian gland dysfunction. Dr. Rowan suggested I TRY the Lipiflow treatment. The procedure is painless and done in the office. Within Hours after the treatment, I started to have results! Within days, I was able to stop using Eye drop moisturizers (I was using them up to 10 times a day! Which in turn was causing Major issues with my Sinus/Nasal cavity.) Today was my 7 week Re-check, & the results speak for themselves! Before the treatment, my left eye had 4 of 25 glands working, now it has 12! My right eye had 3 of 25, now it has 12 as well! I am so Thankful to Dr. Rowan and his office for fixing my vision problems! Nobody really likes the wait in a dr office but there was coloring books for the kids and they stayed occupied until we saw the dr. I recommend this place to anyone. What a great 1st class operation. I already had my prescription and just needed the lenses replaced in my current frame. They didn't try to up-sell me new frames. Took all the measurements necessary to have the lenses done properly and the price was excellent. They were within a few dollars for the same lenses I found online and as I said, they took the measurements not me. They should have my glasses ready in a week, which also beats the online companies. Last time online they gave my left eye the prescription for the right eye and of course my right eye got left eye prescription. That whole process took 8 weeks, never again will I order online after finding this place. read more
