I cannot believe this policy. we have been told since covid to use a card to pay, and now this business CHARGES FOR THE USE OF A CREDIT CARD!!!!!! They also require test for $39.95 due to Covid. it is NOT AN OPTION!!!! I am beyond angry and although I hate to leave Dr. Knapp, I will if this continues.

Some frames aren't made to hold my trifocal and strong prescription lenses. Colleen is very good at explaining my options and helping to find the best frames to fit my face and lenses. She is very kind and thorough, ensuring that my glasses fit perfectly. I wouldn't pick frames without her. Lakewood Vision Center will always be my number one choice for all things eye related.

I haven't purchased from Europtical, but that's not enough to keep me from reviewing them…read more I have frames I love, I wasn't in the market for more, but the beloved frames of mine arrived in the post wonky and ill-fitting. I walked in, asked them if they wouldn't mind adjusting them for me and with a smile she whisked them to the back and bing bam boom - adjusted! A month or so later, the frames again began to go a little haywire so I popped in after I grabbed an Americano from the adjacent Caribou Coffee. The gentleman who took my frames warned me that the adjustment came with a certain amount of risk and by the way, the reason they went wonky was due to my removal style. I slapped my own wrist and off he went. A minute later, he came back and made sure they felt better (which they did on the first try) then sent me on my way. Both adjustments free and with a smile. Sadly, about two hours later on a flight to Chicago, the overhead bin opened during takeoff which sent a bag careening towards my head thus knocking my glasses to the floor and out of shape. I'll be visiting Europtical for yet another adjustment and while they never suggest I do, at some point I should probably buy something...

Dr. Loizos seemed to fumble his way through my wife's procedures, kind of guessing what to do next. 5. Dr. Bedell has excellent patient care, but is hesitant to do anything and seems incompetent at times. 6. My wife never received the results she was looking for. No, we don't wanna go back and have them fix her eyes again for we have lost faith and confidence In their abilities. 7. This facility takes advantage of elderly people and has them waiting around all day!! Please reread item number 1. 8. The receptionists are rude and crude. 9. The facility itself is dated. Old equipment, old computers, old bathrooms. Just plain old. Not too sure what you're doing with all of the patient's money. 10. Hate is a strong word. I hated having my wife treated here! 11. No one in the entire organization returns for calls or answers the phone. Often times you are put on Terminal hold. I've nicknamed it, the phone tree of death. 12. They did not try to sell me into higher price glasses and every employee I interacted with was nice. I didn't find any glasses but I will be back to this location for my exam in two years. It took them three attempts and weeks to get the bi focal placement right in the lenses. Final straw was today I broke the arm of my sunglasses..not the frame at all the frame and lenses are perfect I took them up to the store expecting to be able to order and pay for a new arm. It's literally held on by a small screw! I was told somewhat rudely tonight that I'll have to have my lenses put into new frames they don't order parts for glasses. I'm done with this place. Do yourself a favor and go to Warby Parker like I should have. And will in the future.

I enjoyed working with him and felt confident following his recommendations. The staff at Madison Eye Care was professional, friendly, and helpful. The building felt upscale but friendly, modern but classic. When it came time to choose frames, I found a good variety in terms of style, price, and features. It was nice to have plenty of options. My new glasses are better than I expected and I'm looking forward to working with Dr. Pete in the future. This level of personal service, selection, and quality just isn't found at Super Massive Big-Box Store.

It started out at their Lakewood location when I got my first pair of glasses that broke almost immediately. Fine. We reorder a new pair. I go in 3 weeks later to check in on the contacts. They haven't even reordered the glasses. So we try this again. Get the glasses 4 weeks later but they break again. Request a brand new pair. Have to go to their Westlake office with larger selection. Charge me $50 for a "refitting" despite the fact they sold me crappy glasses. Wait another month for the new glasses. I call the Westlake office a month later and they apparently just came in and "are here for pickup." Go to the Westlake office and find out they are actually at the Lakewood office. At the Lakewood office and they say their opticians are very busy and we will need time to adjust the frames. By this point, my whole afternoon has been shot. I explain to the person that I am pretty frustrated after having been at this for over an hour and if they can get to things quicker. See on the opticians desk that the lady at the front desk messaged her on teams saying I needed a refitting and had a "huge attitude." Some of these things were not their fault. A lot of them are. I will not be coming back next year.
