I am getting the runaround and it is very very frustrating. I've been told I will receive a phone call several times and Hayley has not called me back. I came in another time to just get sized up and pay. I've been coming there for a few years now, today, which is Friday, 19 December 2025. People had appointments to get what I needed was my eyes to just be sized. I already glasses, which were Versace. I was waiting about a half an hour and a girl came in and I did not know she had an appointment. I said, hey, I was waiting.. So the employee that had the appointment with someone came up to me in a very condescending, patronizing and cocky Way and told me "that she had an appointment. And maybe you don't know this" and more....but she was basically "putting me in my place" so to say,for me out for saying that I was waiting and I think I'm next. I was taken back and ready to walk out.. But I waited, then somebody walked in with another appointment. So I did leave. Then I got home and called for an appointment. I was told that I'm to walk in and then they size me for my glasses. Well, I wanted an appointment, but maybe this is a sign for me not to purchase them. Because talking to them on the phone was even more difficult as I asked for Krystal, who is the first person that I saw and was very willing to help me when I walked in. They ended up transferring me. To a girl named Renee, who I think was the person that reamed me out sitting in the chair. As if I was a second class citizen.. I said, but don't I need an appointment for when the Care Credit person is in. "No, you could just give us the numbers and. We'll call you. Again so unprofessional, and I don't know where these employees came from, because it used to be such to go and get my glasses, but I will no longer do so! I will just go to euro optical where you're treated kindly. Maybe it was the day that I went in in the COO was there that everybody was kind and doing their job but people were sitting there talking on their phone and I'm just waiting to get sized and pay. I did nothing wrong and I was treated so poorly!

I walked in, asked them if they wouldn't mind adjusting them for me and with a smile she whisked them to the back and bing bam boom - adjusted! A month or so later, the frames again began to go a little haywire so I popped in after I grabbed an Americano from the adjacent Caribou Coffee. The gentleman who took my frames warned me that the adjustment came with a certain amount of risk and by the way, the reason they went wonky was due to my removal style. I slapped my own wrist and off he went. A minute later, he came back and made sure they felt better (which they did on the first try) then sent me on my way. Both adjustments free and with a smile. Sadly, about two hours later on a flight to Chicago, the overhead bin opened during takeoff which sent a bag careening towards my head thus knocking my glasses to the floor and out of shape. I'll be visiting Europtical for yet another adjustment and while they never suggest I do, at some point I should probably buy something...

I took them back and because they couldn't repair them and…read moredidn't have another pair they popped my lenses out and put them in a "loner" pair so I could see until the next pair came in. I assumed that replacement would be their responsibility because all of the other frames I've worn in the past (from other businesses and brands) lasted four to five years holding up to lens changes etc. I received a message that my replacement frames were in. When I returned to pick them up the woman looked at me and with a condescending voice said "those lenses won't fit your frame." What was I supposed to say to that? They ordered them? Upon inspection we discovered that they ordered the wrong replacement frames. SMH. The condescending woman didn't apologize for being rude, for ordering the wrong pair or inconveniencing me. When I went in to pick them up the second time, they charged me for shipping them. It seemed high for 1 small box; $25, but I felt that I shouldn't have to pay for anything seeing it was a faulty product. But they explained the 12 month warranty was over. First time they mentioned that btw. I paid the 25$ but explained other frames I owned held up and I felt it was a faulty product. Emphasizing that I was just making a point that they ought to consider other manufacturers. I've worn Prada and Oliver Peeples with no issues. The lady shared she would have someone call me. As I was walking out the same condescending person said to the other employee, not once but twice and loud enough for me to hear, "we will need to fill out a form to cover these (the loner pair) at a loss." Duh. I hope you wouldn't try and resell the loner pair frames that I was wearing. But you don't say it out loud in front of the customer like it's their fault. Sheesh. When the person did call me, as they were chewing a mouthful of food, asked if I had a question. I responded I didn't have any questions, that I assumed she was calling me to rectify the problem. Nope. "They stand behind their product" and "they could have charged me for the replacement frames due to the warranty being over" and insinuated that I should be thankful they were only charging for shipping." $25 dollars to ship a pair of glasses. Making me wonder if I paid for the first and second shipping cost. I really didn't have any complaint with the optometrist. She seems knowledgeable and thorough which is why I gave Berris Optical 2 stars rather than 1. However, I believe she is responsible for the staff. Either way, I will not be returning and would not recommend this business.

They try to upsell you on literally everything rather than taking your needs into consideration. My insurance covers a basic exam but when I went in I was charged over $50 for the exam and when I asked why they told me because they automatically added on an extra service -- this should have been disclosed prior to the start of the exam. When I express this they acted like I was the crazy one. I had some issues with the lenses once I received my glasses and went in to try to resolve the issue which was entirely their fault, but it took them an arm and a leg to admit that. And even after recognizing it was their fault, they were so hesitant and trying to actually fix the problem, so I gave up. They had improperly marked the optical center on both lenses, which intern made everything blurry -- at first they tried to say it wasn't their fault, but that I so used to wearing glasses that were incorrectly made for my vision that I couldn't recognize what proper vision felt like. I really wanted to support local, which is why I went here in the first place, but I'm really turned off at how inconsiderate and out of touch the staff are. I would avoid at all costs.

Far too many clients/patients to doctor ratio. 2. Dr. Loizos and Dr. Bedell were more than 45 minutes to an hour late for each appointment my wife was scheduled to attend. 3. There is absolutely no customer/patient follow up. This is very alarming for cataract surgery is pretty serious business. We are talking about a person's eyesight for goodness sake. 4. Dr. Loizos seemed to fumble his way through my wife's procedures, kind of guessing what to do next. 5. Dr. Bedell has excellent patient care, but is hesitant to do anything and seems incompetent at times. 6. My wife never received the results she was looking for. No, we don't wanna go back and have them fix her eyes again for we have lost faith and confidence In their abilities. 7. Old equipment, old computers, old bathrooms. Just plain old. Not too sure what you're doing with all of the patient's money. 10. Hate is a strong word. I hated having my wife treated here! 11. No one in the entire organization returns for calls or answers the phone. Often times you are put on Terminal hold. I've nicknamed it, the phone tree of death. 12.
