Suviche is one of those neighborhood spots you can always count on. Whether it's grabbing a quick bite with friends, taking food to go, stopping by for happy hour, or just enjoying a drink, it's always solid. The servers are consistently friendly, and the restaurant has plenty of seating. The outdoor patio is especially cute, with lots of tables, a bar area, and a few tables with swing-style seats that are cute. The food is consistently good and the sushi rolls are all solid. My go tos are the truffle roll and the lomo saltado. They also have a great happy hour every day of the week with plenty of food and drink options. The pisco sours are excellent too. Overall, Suviche is that casual but cute spot that works for everything like first dates, happy hour hangs, or dinner with friends. I'm here at least once a month, and it's always a great experience. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in the area.

Once upon a time Suviche in Wynwood was a 5 star spot hands down--happy hour was on point-- excellent wine selections and the sushi rolls were tasty and plentiful. (My happy hour favs are the Spicy tuna and the Perfection Roll) However I can't help but notice over the years that the sushi rolls keep shrinking in diameter ever so subtlety and it's a little disappointing. (Like the best way I could describe it is comparing a silver dollar to a nickel.) The service is still 'decent' but now they include an automatic 18% gratuity on your bill which is probably why it's just that (decent). This is a great place to visit between the months of September and February where you can sit outside in comfort and enjoy your food. Their seafood arroz chaufa was a favorite of mine for years however I recently discovered their mushroom chaufa which I prefer. In spite of the minor changes though, it's definitely a spot I enjoy frequenting.

We had a great experience here. I was very happy with the ceviche. It is just perfect for me. I love how fresh the mahi is. I am curious to try the shrimp ceviche but always love this one. My pisco sour was not as good as I remember. It was ok but I will try their other main drink, the chilcado (or something like that) next time. The Mahi bites are pretty new to their Saucy Hour menu. These are so, so good. They come with something else...maybe it is Yucatan? In a very tasty citrus sauce. I liked the Almost Perfect sushi roll. It has Pandora shrimp, avocado and cream cheese. This was real good. I tasted their Suviche Lager and this is a delicious beer. Our server recommended the bang bang shrimp. We ordered it and it was real flavorful. I liked how the shrimp did not taste super fried. The sauce was very tasty.

The experience at Suviche was 10/10! We tried a little bit of everything! The Poke Nachos, the best I've ever had, mahi bites, were crispy and soft. The ceviche pretty good! I enjoyed 2 rounds of Pisco Sour but they were clearly made by two different bar tenders, the first one was DELICIOUS the second one felt like I was sucking on limes. The vibes were nice, easy to chat, the game in the background. Service was amazing, the staff was super attentive.

Woah! Loved this place. Their Saucy Hour is amazing, everything that I tried I loved. I really enjoyed the freshness of the shrimp ceviche, I'm normally really picky when it comes to shrimp, but I could not get enough! The Fried Mahi Bites were my favorite, the yellow sauce on top is definitely the cherry on top! The staff was super friendly, nice and accommodating. We met some pretty cool staff members. The ambiance is chill, relaxed and I really enjoyed the outdoor dining.

I tried suviche for the first time and I believe Japanese/peruvian fusion for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. We tried a few things, sadly gobbled most of them before I took pix. I really liked the poke nachos! What a fun twist. The mushroom ceviche was something that I wouldn't even think to get but it was really good. It had that meat like texture and the mushrooms absorbed all the juices. Very yummy!! We had the mahi mahi bites and it could have used a sauce. It was a bit dry. Shrimp ceviche was pretty good. We also had tuna sushi rolls and they were fine but the other things felt a bit more special. I am especially appreciative that they made chilcano as mocktails! I never had one until yesterday and I had the lychee flavor for my first on. It was super refreshing. I accidentally ordered a second drink forgetting to tell them to make it virgin and they were kind enough to accommodate me to get me a non alcoholic one and I got passionfruit flavor. It was super sweet but still delicious. The wait staff were amazing, very kind and quick! It was a very nice night to be able to sit outside.

The indoor ambiance is nice but there's something about being outdoors that just always calls to me. I forget I'm in Miami sometimes. The amazing servers outdoors are a few far in between. If something is wrong, they do correct it right away. This time around I had Carlos and he is absolutely AMAZING!! He made our happy hour experience the best I've ever had in the 5 years I've been coming here. The food is always good and they have expanded their happy hour menu which is A1. Carlos gave us great new suggestions. We'll be adding the mahi bites as one of our go tos. I like that the menu is not limited, and you can try a little little bit of everything if you want to. I'll always be back.

This place was absolutely amazing. The food, the service, and the ambiance were 5 stars. We came last night after a horrible experience across the street at Grails and Lourdes turned our evening around. She was attentative and explained everything to us since it was our first time. She was great. Give her a raise!

Impromptu lunch in Miami A little backstory: while on vacation, my whole family was dealing with some phone issues and we stopped by our carrier's local store for help. It turned out they were experiencing a total network outage. Since I couldn't get online, I asked one of the staff members if there was any good food nearby. He immediately recommended a Peruvian restaurant just a short walk away. Initially, I was a little hesitant because I don't think I had ever tried Peruvian cuisine before. He started describing some dishes, and we decided to give it a shot. As we approached, the first thing we noticed was the cool outdoor seating area, which even included some rope swings and a full bar. One person from behind the bar led us to a table and handed us menus. She then arrived with our complimentary appetizer. We weren't really sure what it was, but it turned out to be fried corn. Then things started to slow down. We waited about 10-15 minutes before anyone came back. Eventually, another server, not the one who initially seated us, took our drink orders. Wifey and my youngest both ordered limeade, my oldest ordered all natural passionfruit juice (which she loved), and I went with a local IPA called Nativo Key from Cervecería La Tropical. Also, an excellent choice, I ended up ordering a couple of rounds. The menu itself was definitely unique; very exotic and eclectic. Wifey and I decided to order a few things to share: the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Fried Mahi Bites. My oldest ordered the Shiitake Chaufa, a mushroom fried rice dish, and my youngest daughter built her own entrée, choosing a plate of sautéed chicken with a side of French fries.Everybody really enjoyed their food and drinks, and we pretty much shared everything. The Mahi Bites had some red onions on top and a sauce you'd typically see on a hibachi salad, but it worked well with the bites. Partway through the meal, my youngest daughter found a hair in her chicken. The staff was very apologetic, quickly scooped it up, and put in a second order. There was some confusion with the second order, it took a while to actually make it to the table, but they ended up not charging us for it on the bill. I went on a little recon mission to check out the interior and use the restroom, which was fresh and clean. The interior dining area was small and a little dark but had adequate seating. In the end, we left full and happy. Despite some confusion and slower service, the food and experience made up for it. I would definitely recommend SuViche if you are in the Wynwood area. @whatsthenextmemory

Suviche is awesome every time I go. From the ambiance to the service it's nothing short of a homey vibe. They know me well here. Even better to have a Miami spice menu! A must have if you're in the wynwood area. We had the Lomo Saltado and the bang bang shrimp the Lomo Saltado brings tenderloin fried eggs rustic potatoes and delicious sweet plantains the bang bang shrimp has a sweet chili sauce that's to die for,

Went to Suviche with my boyfriend for happy hour. We had the yummy almost perfect roll, the ceviche which was delicious, the mahi mahi bites and the pork belly sushi tacos. We also tried the Lychee Pisco Sour and Passion Fruit Pisco Sour which were really good. The lychee was our favorite. Our server Jess was very nice and attentive. The ceviche was served with plantain chips to help scoop it and was yummy. We finished it to the last drop. The almost perfect roll was so good we ended up having two orders of it haha. The mahi mahi bites left more to be desired as they need a bit more seasoning or sauce which we ended up asking for. And my boyfriend loved the sushi tacos. We can't wait to visit again and try the tuna or salmon sushi tacos and some other sushi rolls.

I ate outside at the bar, cool vibes, Spanish music playing, but not too loud to have conversation, fans blowing keeping it a little cooler in 90+ degree weather. I made it in time for Happy Hour which is 7 days a week at this location (I will be back for that alone). I ordered a Paloma knowing I'm picky with my Paloma's, so not my fav, but for those who like them, maybe they're great lol. Bartender/Server was great, very friendly, attentive and recommended the Mahi Mahi bites, as I was thinking of ordering them! I have to say the sushi taco's with wonton shells were a game changer! They are small, but delish! Oh and the ceviche! Ceviche is always a must for me, so yes do it!

Very warm, serene vibe with neutral tones. Definitely the kind of place you'd come to unwind and just enjoy good sushi without any chaos. Parking: Street parking is available, but it is paid, so keep that in mind before pulling up. The servers were very helpful and kind overall. My only complaint is that food came out a bit slow, especially considering it wasn't very busy at the time. Like serve me all my orders all at once pleaseeeeee so I can indulge lol What I Had: _________________ Sashimi Assortment - 10/10 Freaking delicious. Light, decadent, and incredibly fresh. Each piece tasted clean and high-quality, the kind of sashimi that melts the second it hits your mouth. They did their thing! Kanpachi Sashimi - 10/10 So good. Soft, delicate, and perfectly fresh. Every bite was balanced and flavorful without being heavy at all. Nigiri - White Fish Tasting - 11/10 Hands down my favorite part of my experience. I ordered multiple rounds (they come two per order), including branzino and snapper. The branzino was unreal. I wanted only branzino... that is how marvelous it was. Topped with this umami crunch that added so much texture and flavor. It was literally mouthwatering, like a burst of flavor in every bite. I honestly could've kept ordering this all night. Nigiri - Bluefin Tuna Tasting - 5/10 This one just wasn't for me. It wasn't fishy, but the texture was very slimy and didn't sit well in my mouth. It didn't swallow smoothly and just wasn't appetizing to me personally. Definitely a pass. Blue Crab Hand Roll - 6.5/10 I know this is a fan favorite, but it was just okay for me. Not bad at all, just didn't wow me compared to everything else I had. For $6, it's fine, but I wouldn't rush to reorder it. Customer Service: 8.5/10 Friendly and helpful, just slightly slow. I truly appreciate when servers know their menu well and are able to make suggestions. I can't remember my server's name, but she was just top-notch. I went to the Wynwood area and walked around because I love art the murals were amazing. I had planned to go to Uchi early so that I can catch happy hour. And I did I was one of the first people there. I had the signature tasting for One and overall it was very enjoyable. It's funny, when I was looking at the happy hour menu I was thinking about having the crabcake curry, even though I ate it all, it was my least favorite out of the nine courses. It was perfectly cooked on the outside. Nice and crispy. The curry taste was very delightful, but the inside of the crabcake was crazy mushy. Just not what I expected. It was not lump crab as described it was more like blended crab. There were also little gnats flying around. Definitely not what anyone should experience in a popular and expensive restaurant.

The ambience is secluded and warm without losing its chic feeling. The two chefs had a great personality and we had great conversations. The food was absolutely amazing. Each course had a completely distinct flavor profile and played off one another very well. None where so over powering that it made the other seem bland. Extremely well balanced with amazing flavors. For a nice night out. Stay at the beach for the weekend, take an uber to the restaurant, immerse yourself for an hour or so of culinary delight, and let the outside world melt away in the experience.

We normally check the Michelin Guide first but there's none for Miami so we decided to browse through Tock for fun. This was how we stumbled upon Sushi Bar and we are so glad we did! The price point of $185 per seating is super worth it. You get a lot of fish and they are very creative with each nigiri. Their spin on it shows their creative side (with Miami flavors) but is not super over the top and sauce does not drown out the freshness of the fish. Something that stood out to me was how they shaved frozen monkfish liver as a topping. I wanna go back just for that!! They also had some pieces where they smoked the fish. Besides the food, I thought it was very creative how they welcomed guests with a welcome drink at the hotel bar. This was so unique! We finished ours early, and had some of their other drinks - they were all very good! Once they're ready, a server came to get us from the hotel bar and led us through an alleyway to a separate building which was where the actual omakase was taking place. The atmosphere was dark and gave off speakeasy vibes, which I thought was different to other omakase places. Bar is spacious enough to still have private conversations. We did the beverage pairing and we really appreciated the sommelier's knowledge. Overall, we would want to come back again for another tasting experience!!
