While we were walking around, we were craving some Japanese food and found an incredible spot! Sushigah staff were very nice and accommodating to us while we traveled with our cat. I ordered their bulgogi bento and WOW I was amazing. Huge quantity of food and you could sub rice for a California roll! The tempura was perfectly breaded with a great variety of different veggies and shrimp. The bulgogi was also well seasoned and marinated. My partner mentioned how great their tempura udon was as well!

Ordered via one of the delivery apps. Good selection of rolls, lots of baked and tempura rolls. The salmon skin roll was very good, the salmon skin was very crisp. The yellow tail, salmon and shrimp were good and fish was fresh. The Korean fried chicken appetizer was very good, nice light batter and stayed crispy even after the sauce. Cucumber salad was too sweet for my taste. Solid restaurant and will order from again.

Found this Sushi restaurant owned by Korean Father & Son. Love the mural. Located at the corner of Raymond Ave, the quieter side of the street. Street parking or parking garage nearby. Easier to park. Not crowded like Colorado side. Service was fast. Small nice dining area with plenty of window seating. Food was on the spot. We ordered Cheese Bulgogi, Bento Box, Sashimi Salad and Salmon Roll. All was fresh and yummy. Nothing to complain.

Late night sushi and it hit the spot! Everything tasted fresh craving more even when you are full! Can't go wrong with anything in the menu. Service was quick and friendly, location was clean, zero complaints.. The water tasted filtered which is a huge step up from pretty much any sushi spot.

Stopped by Sushigah in Pasadena for a quick lunch and ordered a regular combo with some hot sake on the side. First off, I really appreciated that the sake actually came out properly hot, which isn't always the case at casual spots and made the meal feel extra comforting. For the price, the combo is a good deal and perfect when you want something filling without a long wait. The fish quality was decent overall. Some pieces tasted fresh and enjoyable, while a couple still had that slightly frozen texture, but nothing that completely took away from the experience. Service was fast and it's an easy in-and-out kind of place, which makes it great for a quick lunch. It's not a high end sushi destination, but it's not trying to be. For a casual, affordable meal in Pasadena it gets the job done. Overall a solid option for the price and convenience, and I'd come back if I'm in the area and need something quick and satisfying.

This is one of the best sushi experiences I've had in a while and at a price point that is affordable, just makes me love this place even more. I feel like this place is giving quality well above their price point and I think it's just amazing. I came here about an hour before they close on a Wednesday evening, and I was greeted with extremely pleasant restaurant staff they were extremely accommodating to a special request that I made and they exceeded expectations on all fronts. Every item we ordered was very good and I can't wait to come back again. This place is also a corner spot so it's relatively easy to find, at least I think so and this is the perfect spot to go to when it's a little later at night for those sushi cravings!

I really appreciate the great service here, very attentive. It's a go to for the BSCR roll for me. Generous amount of tender bay scallops atop a fresh California roll. Sitting outside on a sunny day is a real treat and I've always been lucky enough to get seated immediately without a wait. Parking in the school house structure is super convenient.

Sushigah has been a great experience every time that I have visited. With all the other sushi spots in Pasadena, this one always hits the spot with the small but cozy sitting area and great atmosphere. I love the people who work here and whoever's playlist that is. Food is always consistent and great, made with care. 10/10.

We checked out Sushigah in Pasadena and had a great time! First off, the tech-forward touches were super cool--each table gets a sleek little wooden stick with a QR code so you can browse photos of all the rolls. I loved being able to see what everything looked like before ordering. You can also pay the bill online, which made checkout smooth and convenient. The space itself is small and intimate with a cozy, modern vibe. I liked sitting by the window where you can look out onto the street corner. Bonus points for being right next to a good parking structure. The salmon sushi was tasty and fresh, with a nice thick cut of fish. Their rice was on point--great consistency, not too sticky or too loose. One of the standouts for me was the bulgogi with cheese--it tasted like a Korean Philly cheesesteak and paired surprisingly well with the rice. It's fusion done right. Everything was super clean inside, and the staff was friendly without being overbearing. The overall ambiance is casual cool, a nice spot to grab quality sushi without it feeling too formal. There's a nice variety on the menu without it being overwhelming. I'd definitely come back to try more rolls. It's a great spot for a low-key dinner or date night. If you're a fan of good food with a little flair, this one's worth checking out.

Tried this place with some friends & was astonished by the quality of the Bulgogi Ramen. Service was great--staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming & decor was pleasantly unique! The quality of the noodles, bulgogi, broth and veggies all complimented one another perfectly. The flavor of the broth was savory with a touch of sweetness which really stood out to me! I would definitely come again, 10/10! :D

Came here late on a Saturday night. It wasn't too busy so we were seated quickly. We ordered and our food came out quickly as well. I was very excited as our food came out (all at the same time too). The dishes looked really nice, the fish was fresh, the udon had a nice deep umami flavor. I've passed by this restaurant so many times, but this is the first time I was able to stop by. Really good sushi and service. Definitely coming back again!

Tasty Sushi! I was on my own due to some odd circumstances, so I decided to grab lunch at SushiGah. I looked at the menu and ordered two rolls - the 911 Roll which was spicy, and the Lemon Salmon Roll which was spicy and tasty. The rolls came out promptly along with the 355 ml (12 ounce) bottle of Coke I ordered for lunch. The rolls were served with a good amount of Wasabi and ginger. The server was quite polite and helpful. You can see the photo of the mural and the prep area, which offer classic Japanese Sushi ambiance. The rolls I ordered were quite tasty and filling. A bottle of Soy Sauce is on the table, and was also tasty. Good stuff!

Sushiya has been on my radar for quite sometime. In seeing the reviews and asking around, there have been so many positive experiences that I had to take time to visit. So, on a Sunday after church, I had an errand to run in the area, and I decided to visit. Ambiance: Tucked on the corner of Raymond Ave and Green St. it is easy to dismiss Sushiya entirely. But, the small space makes this place feel so much like home. The sushi bar was super clean and I had a clear view of the fish and chefs as they crafted roll and nigiri alike. The staff were warm and friendly which added to the vibe. Food: Being in a new sushi restaurant, I tend to order the same thing all the time. In this case was Salmon and Yellowtail Nigiri and a Shrimp Tempura Roll. But in this case, I wanted to splurge a bit and got a Miso Soup and side Sapporo as well. The miso soup is always nostalgic but nothing super different than what is normally served at other restaurants. But the star, the sushi, was indeed something to talk about. The cut of fish was indeed thicker than others and there is no question on the freshness of the fish as well. No smell and clean after taste, I took extra time to really relish it. The sushi rice tasted fresh and you can tell that there is great pride to the plating of the sushi and roll. The Shrimp Tempura roll, had that oh so satisfying crunch signaling not only was the tempura fresh from the frier, but the moisture of the rice didn't soak into the shrimp. Overall, with its closeness to a parking lot, easy accessibility, and freshness. I would visit again and soon! If nearby, give it a shot, I'm sure your going to enjoy it as I did

We originally were hoping for 7 or 7:30, but based on how busy and popular this place is I can see why they said no. Come early and get seated right away and there's still ample parking in their parking lot. By the time we left at 7:30p, the lot was packed and people circling around hoping to snag a spot from folks leaving. The restaurant is pretty large and has about 3 rooms with different size tables and booths. No matter the size of your party, there's a table that will accommodate. The staff were very nice and attentive and FAST! We had our food out probably 15 min after we put in our order! Now...on to the food. We ordered one of the set menus for our party of 7 and it was spot on! As you can see in the pictures we had all the "classics". Our set meal could easily be enjoyed by at least 10 people. We had so many leftovers! The food was all well prepared and sufficiently seasoned. Portions of each dish was plentiful and everyone will be able to get enough to satisfy. My favorite items: lobster (duh!), kung pao chicken, pork chops, and shaking beef. The seafood soup is a great starter, and don't forget to add a little vinegar and pepper! Great restaurant in the SGV. This location is much bigger than their Rowland Heights restaurant, but the food is exactly the same. Came at 530 pm on a tuesday, and there wasen't anyone here yet. Afterwards it filled up quickly!! The main thing I dont like about this place is they dont have the prices on what your ordering. Which I'll get too at the end. Like any other Chinese restaurant, their menu is super extensive. I love how they have a little bit of everything. And its very well organized too. We ordered the following: 1. Crab and fish maw soup- this soup was amazing. It was just the right temp. Got me sweating. Can easily feed 12 people. Great amount of maw. The consistency is just right. Tasted so good!! 2. Small lobster special- on a bed of noodles. It was about 5 lbs. Cooked well. Could do without. Basically flavors. And it was expensive!! About $30 a lb. So this one dish cost basically the same amount as all the other dishes. Which was just too much. If I knew it was that much I would definitely not have ordered it. 3. Walnut shrimp- not the best walnut shrimp I've had. But it was ok. 4. Garlic shrimp- this shrimp dish was ok. Too many bell peppers and onions. It was just ok. 5. Mongolian beef- flavors were not that great. Very tender though. Could've been better. 6. Sea trout- this was amazing!! I love the sauce. Fish was so soft and tender. The heat, the spice, the sweetness. Some of that sauce in white rice was just perfection. It was really really good. Best dish of what we ordered. 7. Kung pao chicken- this was a really good dish. Crispy bits of chicken. But so soft and tender inside. I love the sauce that it was in. It was by far one of the highlights of the meal. It was good food. Price for everything (except the lobster) was pretty good. Food tasted amazing for the most part. Typical Chinese customer service. Pay at the front. Massively large portions. Solid authentic Chinese food.
