They use doordash for deliveries and apparently the ppl putting the orders together dont bother to check the bags before sending the dasher out. I'm tired of items missing from my order and having to go back and forth between door dash and store. No longer ordering from here again. read more

Absolutely love this place. Best sushi for the $$ in all DFW (my opinion ) they make everything fresh. They deliver. Always tastes great and cheaper than most super market sushi. I could live off the tuna tower. The Louisiana roll is amazing if you like crawfish. The Cajun roll is amazing if you like siracha sauce. The sushi here cannot be beat in this area. I have not had good sushi since I left home on the coast of the northeast. I have searched and searched and came up empty handed or with stinky fish or with spongy fish. What? Yea. Spongy. I said it. Gross. This place has great quality fish that keeps me coming back for more. I crave them almost every week. The price point is a reasonable for this area, the portions are pretty large, and the service is always polite and accommodating. What else can a fish loving gal want? Salmon. Lots of it. A few notes on the food: they use miso soup packets to make their soup which results in Spongy tofu. Not the best. Their Maki rolls are super rice heavy so the balance is a little off but obviously not enough to deter me. The Maki rolls could also be a little tighter. The nigiri is done really really well with great knife work on the fish. Salmon is nice and buttery but they serve some sort of white fish that I was totally not into. read more

I come here quite often. The menu is very large and has about everything you want from a sushi place. The inside sits around 30 people (tables of 4). A little hidden Gem in Rockwall. It is so good that I'm actually going to eat there tonight. Highly recommended. read more

Every city needs a place like this. Good sushi prepared to order at quick dining prices. The wife and I shared 3 rolls and enjoyed soft drinks, the bill, $25.00 wow! By my count the restaurant only seats 18 persons however I watched several folks come in to pick up to go orders and one delivery order went out. Low overhead makes you the winner. My friend currently works here, and he recommended I come by to check it out. Nice little quaint restaurant, clean, and friendly staff. I ordered two special rolls: Black Pearl Roll & Rainbow Roll. Rice-to-fish ratio was exactly how I I like it; not too much rice. Fish was fresh tasting and the spicy tuna within my Black Pearl Roll had a nice amount of heat, and it was actually spicy unlike a few sushi restaurants I've been to where they like to add sriracha and call it a day haha. Rolls themselves were pretty decent in size; higher than my expectations and not skimpy at all. Two rolls definitely made me full. Definitely will come back if I'm ever around the area! read more

This place is GREAT. Good bang for your buck! I ordered the California roll and the 2 piece tuna sushi. Amazeballs. The Cali roll wasn't just stick crab meat it was an actual mixture! And the rolls were bigger than normal height and width I don't know if that's the norm but it's great! And the tuna was long as well! And it's comparable in price (sometimes cheaper) than other sushi places in Rockwall. They had my order ready in about 5 minutes (about as long as it took me to drive there). They wrote my order on the styrofoam box and added a smiley face and a thank you which *I* appreciate. read more

So it's Friday night we worked hard all week and wanted some delicious sushi. We googled sushi places in the area and this place came up o read through some reviews and decided to give it a try. We arrived and to our surprise the inside was a mess. There's no sitting at the sushi bar. I didn't even see much of a sushi bar to begin with. So we opted for outside because it looked better than the inside. There were mounds of ants underneath our table so we asked to be moved. Then we order a sushi and sashimi combo for two again we were astonished with disappointment to see what arrived at our table for $20. I dare say it was a pitiful sight of a combo the worst combo I've ever seen. The miso soup was also atrocious i got a half of bowl of broth loaded with scallions because they were out of tofu. First time and had high expectations based on reviews. I want to give these folks the benefit of the doubt; being a Holiday and all, but they won't get a 2nd opportunity to impress me - there were just too many things gone wrong and too many other good options in the area. We ordered the Sushi and Sashimi Bento boxes and there was no lack of food - you get plenty. Mine included Salmon, Red Snapper, shredded Crab (I think) and Tuna. Every item had a slightly off taste, not the kind of off that makes you spit it out - more like a hmmmm, what's that? Texture was soft and spongy and I did spit out the Red Snapper, didn't finish any of the other pieces. The Tempura Shrimp was also soft and spongy, didn't taste like shrimp but finished both pieces. The Tempura batter had no lightness or crispy bite to it, more like a moist hamburger bun. Had several Gyoza and the filling was great but the wrappers were fried hard and crunchy along the edges and corners. The service was prompt and courteous and the place appeared clean. We walked in and ordered pick up, so we sat at one of the four available tables. It was a very warm day and it was warm inside. Could observe the guy preparing our meal swiping his forehead with the back of his hand. That was a bit unsettling. All in all it was a poor first experience; and, with the many other options including Kyoto, Sake Bomb and Krogers, don't see any reason to return. read more

Really great sushi and they deliver! My favorite is the sashimi bento box, where you get 4 pc Cali roll, 6 or 7 pieces sashimi, 2 gyoza, 2 shrimp tempura and a salad for $15. This was my first time coming here and I really wanted to like it but was somewhat disappointed. First off, I was glad to see that there was a place dedicated to making just sushi without all the other hype and overhead of the more expensive restaurants. This is a small little restaurant with about 10 tables. First thing I noticed when I walked in was that it was uncomfortably cold, but being July, too hot to sit outside on their patio area. The selection was decent and affordably priced. I ordered 'water' to drink and they gave us two plastic cups and there was a fancy water dispenser where you could decide between hot or cold water. Unfortunately, the cold water was more a disappointing "lukewarm" and it was not possible to ask for ice. Meanwhile, there was a sign right next to the machine pointing to the cooler which contained "cold drinks". Since I was not willing to pay for bottled soft drinks or bottled water, the notion of washing down our sushi with lukewarm water promoted me to change my order from dine-in to take out. Once I got home, I noticed that they don't include wasabi with their sushi orders (even Kroger does that), and the container of soy sauce only contained about a tablespoon's worth. Good way to keep your costs down, I suppose, but I won't be returning. Also, this is a BYOB establishment. read more
