This is a very small, quaint local spot. Very friendly with fast service. You order at the counter. We tried the spicy California, the crunchy shrimp roll, the Cajun roll, and the crunchy Philadelphia roll. All were yummy! Their spicy mayo sauce is homemade! This is definitely an order pick up for a cozy night in at home kinda place.

I have gone to Sushi Box Rockwall at least five times a week for the last three months. Everything from their portion size to having literally the most amazing workers in the world I would recommend to anyone looking for Sushi in the area. It's high-quality fish, amazing rice, and perfect portion sizes at the best price around!!!! The girls who work in there I will truly be sad whenever they leave they are absolute sweethearts and just want to make customers happy. Sushi Box Rockwall is the only Sushi I will eat as long as I am in the area. Check them out soon or you are truly missing out!!!!!!

My Husband and I popped into Sushi Box Rockwall for a lunch date on a sunny Sunday. With a craving for sushi and a sprinkle of adventure, we ordered two rolls: the Green Dragon with added cream cheese and the spicy tuna with--you guessed it--added cream cheese. Downside: No soda machine! They do sell bottles, but come on, it's just not the same. I mean, who doesn't love that fizzy nectar of the gods with their sushi? Also, they charge for any extra sauces like eel or spicy mayo. Sauce is life, people! Despite the lack of my beloved soda fountain and the sauce stinginess, we've been here multiple times and even braved the world of DoorDash delivery. They never disappoint. Upside: The place is always cleaner than my kitchen after I've had my morning coffee. The staff? Super nice. The kind that make you question if you should be nicer in your everyday life. The food is consistently delicious and has solidified Sushi Box as one of our favorite quick sushi spots in Rockwall. If you're ever in the area and craving some sushi, this is your place. Just BYOS--bring your own soda.

This is a fantastic spot for well priced and good sushi. Their sushi list is a mile long but the Shrimp Crunch Roll will always be my favorite. You order at the front and are often quickly served your food. Pick from many extra sauces to have some fun. Can't wait to stop in soon.

Great quality ingredients, well-made sushi rolls, and exceptional value! We ordered the Shrimp crunch roll and Geisha roll + an appetizer and our bill wasn't even $25! Both rolls were delicious and the ingredients were really fresh. The presentation was on point! My only reason for 4 stars is the experience walking in, there are tables and chairs inside for dining in, but it seems like it should be more of a takeout restaurant only. When we walked in, we weren't really sure what to do, so we headed to the cashier who asked what we wanted to order. Also, the menu board inside does not give descriptions of the rolls, you'll need to see a takeout menu for descriptions. Don't be intimidated by the size of the restaurant, it's definitely worth the trip! We will be back for sure. read more

I love grabbing SushiBox for a quick lunch or dinner. The prices are reasonable for the amount of meat in the rolls. The variety of roll options is great. It's better for takeout because the inside is small, it used to be a Starbucks. Not good for date night or anything like that. But definitely quality sushi!! read more

I ate here a few times a week. The delivery option was awesome and it was my go to delivery. In the last 6 months or so the quality of the fish has gone down. One time it was bad to the point that we brought the delivery back because it had a metallic overly fishy taste like it was bad. They said it wasn't bad but agreed to remake the roll with a different batch. Unfortunately, since that incident it has not been my go to anymore. read more

I pretty much live on sushi. I've tried them all and always come to the same conclusion. Should have gone to the box. I just love this place even though it's an hour away it is woth the drive for me. WOW!! The miso was scalding hot and the the salad was cold and crispy and it was delivery!!! Ordered a Ahi tower and bento box.. Everything they delivered was with a personal touch... The Ahi Tower was great, super white tuna tasted like candy and the tempura was crispy... This rivals any sushi in Rockwall and they deliver... Two thumbs up read more

We stopped by here at night and it didn't look great on the outside BUT IT WAS FANTASTIC when we got inside. The staff was very helpful in selecting a roll and incredibly friendly. We got the Spicy Tuna Roll and the Tiger Roll. It was quick and tasted so good. The sushi is a great price and high quality. We highly recommend giving them a try! read more

Sushi box has become our go to for take out sushi. Fast and reasonably priced and, most importantly, really great quality great tasting sushi. I would definitely say it is more of a take out place than a sit down restaurant. Really good sushi at a really good price. I've been here only a couple of times with my friends and I haven't been disappointed. I give them five stars because their service is absolutely amazing and so is their food! My favorite thing about this place is their fresh salad. I haven't found any other Sushi place that provides a lot of Sushi for an affordable price! We've been to other places around there in Rowlett, Garland, and even Rockwall and this is hands down the only sushi place I will go to. I always order a bunch of sushi! They have awesome deals here and they always give a complementary salad to go with our sushi and whenever you order to go the guy who makes the sushi will always write a really nice message on the styrofoam containers! You guys rock! Keep up the great work! read more

excellent sushi at reasonable prices. the staff was exceptional! we arrived 45 minutes until closing, and they were accommodating... they provided us great service even though we came in so close to their closing time. they didn't rush us out like some places do, they let us finish our meal without disturbance. we will surely dine-in again in the near future! kudos to the staff there on 2/17/16. and the food came out FAST! read more

I decided to venture out and try sushi box for the first time, as I was craving sushi like I usually do. And I will say, that the food and the service was better than I had expected! When looking online, all of their reviews were five stars so I thought that it was a no-brainer to go with this place for lunch, and I was right. The food was great, the staff was friendly, and the wait wasn't long at all. Not to mention, the food was fresh and the pricing was very reasonable. Today me and my wife came into the restaurant and it was 230pm ...the kid that was at the register asked if he wanted to sit and eat at table or was the order to go, we replied we wanted to seat. The sushi chef (a lady) manager or whatever she was ...spoke to him in a foreign language, for sure it wasn't Vietnamese or I would have understood what she said to him but he turns to us and tell us that they are closing at 3pm and that we had to get the food to go. This is at 2:34 pm..I don't know if she had a problem with me being Asian and married to a Mexican woman or what her issue was...my wife ordered to go....but we will never be go back there again...I might just be dense but I just don't understand why we couldn't sit and eat with 26mins til 3pm...???? read more

Came with a side salad but everything was on one plate. My hubby had the Ceviche nachos. That was not our favorite dish. It was extremely dry. We were served lemons with it, which was a first as we always have it in a lime juice with limes on the side. We had to ask for limes. I don't remember it having anything but pulpo. Not what we are use to eating. Disappointed with the Ceviche. No stars for that.

Overall, the food was solid with a few standout items. The spicy tuna roll was excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. The ramen was also quite good and comforting. The hibachi steak, however, was a bit of a surprise. The steak was cooked exactly to the temperature I requested, but it (along with the vegetables) arrived slightly cold, which took away from the experience. The fried rice also lacked a bit of seasoning and could have used a little more flavor. While this wasn't a bad dining experience by any means, I'm still on the search for that standout spot in the area that truly checks all the boxes. That said, there are definitely some dishes here worth coming back for.

I moved to Rockwall with my wife from Ventura, California back in January 2015. We LOVED the sushi out there, and figured we'd be leaving that culinary experience behind with the move to Texas. When we found several sushi places out here, we tried them all. But only SushiBox brought us back to those amazing sushi experiences we had before the move. Whether it be rolls, tower, nigiri, or sashimi, the food here has always been amazing. And they sell Sangaria Ramune, too! We heartily recommend the Temptation rolls, the tuna tower, smoked salmon sashimi, and tuna nigiri. They're all excellent, well prepared, fresh, and delicious. This food makes us happy. Big contented sighs and silly smiles on our faces. Casual dates or special days, we often went to SushiBox. Sadly, we have to move! But we will be back and you'd better believe we'll be headed to SushiBox! read more

Best place to eat sushi around here! Prices are affordable and the quality of their fish makes it even better! They just recently replaced the previous sushi restaurant that was there and I'm glad they did. They offer a lot of deals, combinations and 5 special rolls for only $37! About 3 was good enough to fill me up though. I've been to sushi restaurant that were a lot more expensive, but SushiBox is cheaper and a lot more tastier! They even deliver for last people like me who don't like to leave the house at times. read more

Moved out to Forney about a year ago and have been looking for a good sushi place. Sushi Box is our new go to place. The Ahi Tower appetizer was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I'll be getting that every time we go from now on. I look forward to working my way through the rest of the menu. My wife is all about shrimp tempura and was very impressed with the appetizer. She also is a big fan of their California Roll. Even though it's a 30-40 minute drive from Forney we will be eating at Sushi Box regularly. read more

I love having this sushi place tucked near our neighborhood. They have a great selection of rolls ~ specialty rolls etc. always fresh and doesn't take too long for the made to order items. I've had the panic roll and 911 roll and both are spicy but not anything too crazy. The price on the basic rolls (California, avocado etc) are low enough to always add to any order! Only docked a star because I wish the vibes of dining inside or on patio were a bit more of an experience. Great for to go though! read more

Went in here for the first time and got the king dragon roll and cucumber salad. They also gave me a free gyoza (dumplings) which were fried. Honestly the best dumplings I've had. Very well seasoned. The sushi was great quality (equal to better than Kyoto) and the cucumber salad was light and delicious. I will absolutely be going back. The service was great as well, answered any questions I had. Very sweet. They deliver as well. I couldn't be more satisfied. Great prices too! read more

So fresh so good! I am a big fan of sushi I love the California roll and the shrimp tempura roll! We tried the rock n roll my my hubby is not a big Sushi fan but he does love to try new things with me he did love the shrimp tempura roll though. Great job super fresh and affordable! read more

Cute, quaint, no frills sushi joint. Not a place for a romantic first date, this is where locals go for a quick stop. My dude and I came here after looking at new homes in the area. The sushi was excellent and fairly priced. I had the geisha roll and it was our favorite! read more
