It was my first time back in a long time. Food had always been good and something I would recommend to out-of-towners. I took my friend for their birthday and it wasn't nearly as good as I remember. Sushi rolls were okay. The spicy ones weren't spicy at all? The calamari was definetly over cooked and really chewy. But the chicken (round bowl) and sauce was pretty good. Bit of an awkward review. I'm a delivery driver and tonight I had a waitress raiser her voice at me for using a trash can. To be fair, they said it was in the "kitchen" I started by asking the waiter right next to me if it was ok. When I asked, he didn't respond for around 10 seconds. He said he didn't hear me. Maybe it's my bad, BUT the trash can was 3 steps from the waiting area where I was standing. The fact of the matter is that the restaurant was basically empty and there was no need to raise her voice. (Just under yelling) After she came at me, I said that I asked the waiter and got not response, then all of the sudden he heard me and proceeded to say that he didn't respond or say "yes" to me. That tells me that he heard me and just ignored me. I'm huge into respect and the way the waitress responded was completely disrespectful. This could have easily been differently. I looked around before using that trash can and that is the only one I could see. I will try to follow up with a photo. Needless to say, I will no longer be using this place for food or delivery service. read more

Been here twice, once last night, once a couple months ago. Above average avocado rolls. It was nice that they were serving food so late. Given we came in around ten thirty both times the mussels were decent too despite not fresh. Love this place!!! Our sushi bar experience with Chef Alan was excellent! Hamachi and salmon are our favorite and the onigiri were perfect! Kids meal was a very generous serving of yakisoba with a handful of nice crispy tofu on top. Kiddo loved the miso soup too. Great meal! I've been coming here for 6yrs anytime I pass through Eugene. Recently, I had the worst experience in a restaurant all around. Our server was a blondish redhead with glasses (can't remember her name). She brought us the wrong sushi rolls when we ordered the special. We didn't argue we ended up just eating it because it had taken so long to place our order to begin with. It took over 15 minutes to bring 2 drinks we had order. We eventually had to get up and go pay our order because we hadn't been brought a check or checked on throughout our whole meal until she had brought us the mixed drinks basically at the end of our meal. read more

Was craving some California rolls and always love the variety a bento box comes with. We got the beef one. Served over a bed of shredded cabbage. Side salad, rice, miso soup, 3 California rolls, & 2 pot stickers. I ordered for delivery and the food was still the perfect temperature! The soup was HOT, but at the point I could sip it comfortably. I was happy it wasn't cold upon arrival. I asked for no dressing on salad and it came just as I asked. Thank you! The California rolls were big, but they weren't sealed well so they wanted to unroll themselves so I had to pick them up and hold them together. But that's ok they were yummy and stuffed full. The rice was delicious with the beef and cabbage. The order came with a sauce in a small container- I assume for the potstickers? But unsure. Much lighter than the soy sauce. A single packet of soy sauce, chopsticks, and a couple napkins. Was perfect. The potstickers were really good. Not sure if it was pork or chicken inside- wish it had more info on what they used, but nonetheless they were good as well! The ONLY reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is simply because the beef had a little too much fat on nearly every piece. I get that it's used with a cheaper cut of beef, but I feel it always shows in the bento boxes unfortunately. Overall a good filling meal with leftovers, but definitely a bit disappointing to always see the flex and pieces of fat all over the meat. Luckily it wasn't chewy and had pretty good flavor. I ordered takeout via UberEats and was very disappointed with the quality of food that I received. First off, I got maybe two spoonfuls of miso soup (view attached photo for a very sad sight). Secondly, the sushi was probably the worst I have ever had in my life... Philly roll was missing smoked salmon. There's only 3 ingredients in a Philly roll and one was missing! We had another great meal at Sushi Seoul. The owner Steve comes up with some great specials. This time we got a Kraken Roll, which was stuffed with tuna and crab and topped with salmon, tuna, shrimp and avocado and drizzled with sweet chili sauce. It was delicious! Very good sushi and service! I went here with two others and we decided to share a plate of four rolls. The price was reasonable and it was truly delicious. If you go, make sure to get the spider signature roll (the roll in the bottom of the picture). Also, even though we got it to-go, they didn't give us chopsticks in the bag. Did they think we'd eat it with our fingers? So we paid $40 for pretty much a large ball of poorly cooked rice. Even though there was only one waitress and one busboy the waitress consistently made sure I knew that she had to run over to another table to help and would be right back. I have GrubHubed this place once, and this is the first time I've eaten here in person, but our GrubHub order was so good I had to eat here in person. Both times our rolls were perfectly balanced. I also got an order of potstickers and a California roll. (California Rolls aren't my favorite, but they didn't have a plain salmon maki, so I defaulted to this.) I wouldn't order the potstickers again; they weren't particularly memorable, the filling was just so-so and they were too greasy for my taste. The California roll was a good, standard roll. But it was pretty awful. 7:30pm place order online through their website "clover" 8:30 pm 15 plus people waiting inside trying to get their orders. I dined last night at this restaurant. I had not been in the building since it's former owner ran business. To begin let's discuss the atmosphere and appearance. It's amazing. The perfect spot for fusion cuisine, in the heart of downtown Eugene. I remember when this restaurant was located elsewhere and this new location is an upgrade, so well executed and celebrated by Sushi Seoul. I ordered the Bulgolgi, one of my personal favorites after debating against Bibimbop dish. The beef was juicy and delicious, with a hint of spice and additional flavors. I will absolutely be back for more !. Staff are professional and respectful. Next time i join for dinner, i look forward to trying out the cocktail menu. Walked in and the environment inside was odd, but it grew on me. THE FOOD WAS PERFECT and so was the customer service!!! We got our food quickly and it was beautiful. We ate it too fast for photos We ended up going and thanking the chef(s). We got the TNT roll, the Red Moon, and the 007 and they were incredible and fresh. Sushi Seoul has one of my favorite atmospheres out of all the restaurants in the Eugene area. No joke, it's just that neat. It completely and utterly fits the bill of eclectic design.  From the moment that you walk into this establishment until you leave it - you are greeted by artistic chandeliers, paintings, colorfully framed drawings hanging from the walls, bold (sometimes silly) sculptures, long reaching plants, and unique lighting & lamps. This place truly is a treat for the eyes. It sets an atmosphere that is both warm and inviting, all the while feeding you with delightful visual candy seemingly impossible to process on just one visit. Originally opened near the Sheldon High School, this family owned establishment has been offering hand crafted sushi, Japanese, and Korean dishes since 2009. The owner, the son of a fisherman from South Korea, has developed a deep understanding of fish preparation and that really shows in the form of some truly savory rolls. Hell, they even offer the much coveted "sushi burrito" -seemingly unending in its current popularity. If my writing is any indication... I like this place. A lot. this place is just *chefs kiss*. My children and I stopped by for a quick bite. We ordered a rainbow roll with salmon and tuna nigiris and they were SO FRESH that they literally melted in my mouth. Ok this time we ordered from GrubHub and it was super fast. We tried the Tori Karaage appetizer, of course the 911 Tuna again, the Caterpillar and the Lava rolls. The appetizer was decent, though the cuts of chicken could have been from better parts of the chicken. They were cut small and well cooked though. The sauce was yummy as well. As for the rolls, you can't go wrong with the 911, the Caterpillar was good and I enjoyed everything but the scallops on the Lava roll (note that it is not spicy despite the name). Turns out I just don't like scallops. My biggest note with the rolls we received, and I can't remember if this was the case when we dined in earlier in the year, is that the percentage of rice to filling/toppings is much higher than desired. I felt that it was too much rice. The rolls were difficult to handle and fell apart a few times. Will continue to try Sushi Seoul and find the perfect combination of rolls. I ate here for the first time a couple of months ago with some friends. (I believe there were 6 or 7 of us in the group.) The waitresses were unbelievably friendly towards us, and they really went above and beyond to make our experience a fun one. The decor inside of the restaurant is very nice, and the food is absolutely delicious. There's quite a lot to choose from on the menu, including vegetarian options.
