    Spicy Tuna Rainbow Roll (8)
    Lauren L.

I really loved my experience here! I'm always looking to try new sushi spots and this small, family-owned spot should not be missed! I started with the edamame and ordered it spicy- really good. I had Salmon sushi and the Spicy Tuna Rainbow roll. I ordered from the specials on the chalkboard and finished with Red Snapper sushi...all complimented with a cold, crisp Sauvignon Blanc. Everything was high quality and very fresh! I sat at the bar and had superb service! Such a cozy, comforting vibe!

Literally the best sushi spot in the DFW area. Sushi Rock is located in North Dallas and is serving quality eats at an amazing price. I continue to dine here for two reasons: 1. The owner and his family are amazing people! Everyone works as a team to ensure service is maintained and you have a great dining experience. You can tell they all genuinely care how your experience is going. 2. The food is top tier- super fresh ingredients. Ok- most tries: angel nigiri, scallop carpaccio, and negitoro rolls are the must haves. Patrica is amazing with guiding you through the menu. Overall one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Thank you all so much!

It was a great dinner, I personally think it was worth it, the sashimi was very fresh and the service attitude was also good

Still my favorite sushi restaurant and DFW after many years. Their super fresh sashimi and sushi roll menu is always on point. The owners and their staff are always friendly with some classic rock music playing in the background. Give this place a try or two.

Best sushi in all do the DFW. Patrick and Pearce were the absolute best company and guided my date and I through our sushi tasting. Cannot recommend enough! Do the omakase!!!!!

I came here for dinner with a group of my friends and I throughly enjoyed my sushi roll. I had the Cassidy Roll. It's marked as spicy and I didn't think it was too hot but it was delicious. Whatever sweet sauce that was put overtop paired nicely with the crunch and sriracha.

Sushi Rock was touted as the best sushi place in the Dallas area based on one Yelp! review. I cannot vouch for that since I haven't tried many Dallas area sushi places, but it was excellent. The server I had was extremely attentive and helpful. He gave me recommendations including one that wasn't on the menu, a hand roll called the Wild Thing. I like spicy, and this one delivered. The service was great, the sushi rolls were fresh and tasty, delicious ginger salad and the hand roll was a spicy surprise. Great atmosphere too!

So average, it os like a grab a bit place which is okay to be but my main reason for not recommending this place is the taste pf spicy tuna roll, the roll had a weird taste and nothing like tuna!

Not the flashiest restaurant, in fact i could not even find the place without walking around a couple times. However, it is still nice inside and we're here for the food. They had some really good fish here. I ordered a whole bunch of different nigiri and you could tell everything was of very high quality. My favorites of the night were salmon, scallop, and uni. Also the salmon skin roll was probably one of the best IO've ever had - nice and crispy salmon skin. The only miss of the night was the fish lollipop? At least I think that's what the name was. That roll just tasted like cream cheese basically. This place is definitely a hidden Gem. I would come back more often if I lived closer.

For the nigiri I had the fatty tuna, a5 wagyu, and king salmon. They were all absolutely delicious and warped me to Japan. I was reminded of the same quality and taste - which checks out since they import their fish from Japan! I appreciate that their reservation site provided all the information I needed to make an informed decision (pricing, how it works, etc.). I checked in at 7:35 for my 7:45 reservation, we weren't seated until 8:10. The hostess was apologetic about the wait. The restaurant itself is in a basement and it's a typical quaint chef's experience with about 10 seats in an intimate space. I loved the decor and vibe. The staff was very friendly, they all introduced themselves and walked us through how the omakase experience worked. We had a 17 course tasting menu and I enjoyed every bite. Loved that the chefs explained every dish and gave us the origin of the fish. My favorite was the Kanpachi, but everything was delicious and tasted fresh. I had a yummy mocktail and our "spirit guide" let me try a non alcoholic champagne which I loved. After dinner we were led into Ginger's which is a speakeasy next door that I've been to a few times. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The only thing I would change is the number of seats. I felt cramped.
