Great Sushi all around, very fresh and well plated. However, there is a team member that makes the experience a bit gross, tbh. He has the same shirt on every time we come here that has both arm pits torn open. Kinda makes the experience unappetizing. We've dined here many times and it's the same thing each time. You'll notice it right away as well as his pants that are many inches too short. A new uniform would be a nice touch. read more

I am writing a three star review because of one experience that I had one time. I had found a piece of the rag that they dry the fish with in my sushi roll and coincidentally it was my last piece of the roll that I farted in so I had already eaten the whole thing. I didn't want a full refund, but I asked for a partial one and the manager acted as if she could not do that for me. our waiter was extremely rude. he always stayed an awkward 10 feet away from the table, causing me to have to talk at a strange volume. Some of the worst service I've ever had and the worst service i've ever gotten there. usually when I go there it's great. I have a feeling they lacked respect for me and my friends because we are young and it's just kind of a subconscious thing people do to young people. Other than that food is great. read more

Had dinner at this location when it first opened, didn't really remember what I had I just remembered the drinks were great. I decided to have lunch there today and I have to say that I definitely recommend. Started off with 2 signature cocktails the cucumber martini and the gun smoke margarita. Very tasteful and fresh for the cucumber martini and the mezcal in the gun smoke margarita was bold and mixture was refreshing. I started off with the lobster and shrimp rolls, edamame, and Kimchi brussel sprouts. The edamame was nice and salty, the lobster and shrimp rolls were delicious, and the kimchi vinaigrette in the brussel sprouts was amazing. Then I finished off with the beef takaki roll and the lickety split. Both were very different but unique in there own way. The lickety split had soft shell crab, Spicy tuna, salmon, yellowtail, avocado, cucumber, topped with eel sauce and Japanese mayo. The beef takaki roll included spicy crab mix, cucumber, A5 wagyu which was so good it has this smoked flavor to it, topped with wasabi cream sauce and wasabi tobiko. Overall the drinks are great the food is amazing and no complaints on the service. Definitely recommend. read more

We've been here multiple times and we're always shocked that it's not busier. We've eaten at many similar places and feel that the food here is tasty. Our favorite in the Woodlands/Spring area. Spicy edamame, kanpachi crudo, Kobe cubes, red snapper nigiri, 7 1/2 custom with mango and cream cheese YUM. We always try something different and even if it's not our personal favorite it's still always good and fresh. They are always so accommodating and it's a beautiful restaurant! I've been here like 4 times. Food is very good and beautiful restaurant. Service has been bad because you have to keep calling your server CONSTANTLY so you can order or get additional stuff. I had to walk to front desk to get someone over. Bar was super slow. Waited like 20min for my drink to arrive and place wasn't even busy. Last time we walked out because we sat for over 15min and nobody came to take our order, hostess only gave us ONE menu for us to share. I had to grab it from another table. Other customer tables were also in similar condition. Only the lady with the water is diligent and prompt. Besides her, nobody seems to care. So we went across the street at the Marriott and had excellent experience. I thought it was one exception day, but it was consistently neglectful service so we won't go back for sushi Rebel because couldn't enjoy our time anymore. read more

Placed an order online. Came to pick it up when it was supposed to be ready and it wasn't. They tried to blame on the last person who picked up their food saying they took the wrong bag but im reality my order was never prepared. Waited for 20 min at the restaurant waiting for the order to be prepared. Will not be coming back. The reason you place an order online is for the food to be ready by the time you go pick it. Tried a few cocktails all were good but the best were the mexican martini and mezcal/tequila one that now I can't remember the name. Now on to the food, honestly everything we tried was so great and fresh but here are some of the faves- Salmon signature nigiri- toppings really make it over the top a5 Waygu signature nigiri- might be the best thing on the menu Millenium roll- super fresh and tons of tuna without a bunch of sweet sauce Truffle tuna- amazing with those garlic chips New york style salmon- really creative and different To top it off we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they gave us a complimentary dessert that was to die for. Really this restaurant exceeded our expectations and I'm so happy to have an upscale sushi place in Spring. Enjoyed a very nice sushi meal here, topped with excellent service and a nice atmosphere. This is a great addition to the area, which is lacking an authentic and high end sushi experience. We enjoyed the nigiri, sashimi, and house signature nigiris that have toppings that complement the fish. The yakitori and softshell crab rolls we got also hit the spot. Cristian, our server, was very attentive and the fish quality was very fresh. Scallop nigiri is a must try. Would love to see a happy hour at some point in the future! read more

My first experience at Sushi Rebel was fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful and parking was easy. I met a friend for lunch so we sampled many great menu items! We had the following sushi, Kobe Cubes(Amazing) Dragon Roll, Shaggy Dog, Millenium, Lickety Split, 7 1/2 and the Wagyu (cooks on a stone for 5 seconds). They were all delicious and fresh. The Spicy Chicken Fried Rice was worthy of several helpings & great to share. It was just enough spice and not overbearing at all. Great selection of drinks for everyones tastes. The bottle of Plum Wine was a great complement to all we enjoyed. The Plum Wine was not to sweet.I can't wait to take my husband back here for a great date night. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The chef even made us a special sushi to try which I thought was very nice & delicious. Highly recommend for any occasion. Cheers! read more

I went to sushi rebel on a Friday evening alone; was seated at the sushi bar and left. It was about 25 mins before the sushi chefs asked if I wanted anything. No one came over to ask how I was doing. I place my order the chef right in front of me joked and laughed as if I wasn't there. Soon a waiter came over asking if I was ok. I hate to say this but, they appeared to be very uncomfortable with a black woman in this restaurant. The ceviche was delicious the experience wasn't.
