This has to be one of the best sushi restaurants in queens hands down.i didn't know about about this restaurant until recently when my wife introduced me to it .she has been coming here for some time now.and this is one of her favorite sushi spots .there food has a good taste to it and is prepared well also. Great spot for all you sushi lovers ,and you wont break the bank. The place is well kept and the staff is courteous.

I'm Japanese and I can say this is the best sushi restaurant in FH! The owner couple is so thoughtful and caring. They donated beautiful sushi to school international dinner event and guests loved their sushi!

a plate of sushi on a table

I've been a regular for 5 years, this is hands down my favorite sushi place in all of New York!!! Super affordable and the food is crazy delicious my go to is spicy tuna rolls and salmon sushi. You have to try it out!!!

    Love boat for 2 ppl

Great selection of sushi rolls, love the rock shrimp app and combination platters. One of our favorite local spot to grab food & drinks with a chill vibe.

Came here after work with my work friends and had a pleasure. The place is actually pretty small but since we came around 9:30/10:00PM and there were only two other tables. By the time we left, we were the only table. The sushi was definitely better than expected, especially for "all you can eat". Will definitely come back for "all you can eat."

    a variety of sushi rolls

This was the worst sushi I ever had. I ordered the 3 roll special, which was very inexpensive-- but the Alaska roll has the smallest pieces of salmon, and it was smoked salmon. The eel cucumber roll was super sweet. The soy sauce they provided was extremely salty and the wasabi they gave tasted like green dye. I also ordered a shrimp tempura roll and it was mostly lettuce.

50% means you get 50% of the quality and quantity.

Sometimes it's best to heed your own warning. I did not. And I live to tell the tale, fortunately. As you can see, I started my previous review with "DON'T GO THERE". I really mean it. I thought, well ... I'm gonna give this place the benefit of a doubt. I was so naive. First of, the service is horrible, horrible, horrible. It took them forever to serve you your food (we were the only table in there). Worse than the wait was the quality and the quantity of the sushi. They serve inari sushi by cutting the inari into strips (you get 3 strips), which is half of an inari pocket. The red clams and octopus are off-color (YES! off-color) and looked like they've seen better days. The tamago did not look and taste like tamago. The one that takes the cake is the sea urchin. It smelled and tasted so bad, it's like they left it out underneath the sun to rot for a few days. I told the waitress that the sea urchin was not fresh and she replied "That's impossible, we got it this morning". Are you F-king kidding me. Do you think I was BORN THIS MORNING! Guys please .... DON'T GO THERE!

Crunchy Spicy Crab looking rather boastful.

I wished I could've enjoyed the meal but bc of the food I did not. Owner was rude. Surfaces were sticky. Won't be returning.

They need to check out how their employees are allowed to yell at their customers. It was very disturbing. I don't think I will be back.

The food and service was good. It's small bit neat and tidy restaurant, despite being on one of the busiest boulevards.

An Unforgettable Omakase Experience!…read more We celebrated the 4th of July with an incredible omakase dinner at Masaki, and it exceeded every expectation. Every course was beautifully presented, impeccably fresh, and perfectly balanced. From the delicate Red Sea Bream and buttery Scallop to the luxurious Toro with Caviar, Sweet Shrimp with Uni, and the unforgettable Eel with Foie Gras, each bite was a masterpiece. What truly elevated the evening was Michael, our sushi chef. He was warm, engaging, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He took the time to explain every course, the origin of the fish, the flavors, and the best way to enjoy each piece. His passion for his craft was evident, and his attention to detail made the entire experience feel personal and memorable. Dining at the sushi bar gave us a front-row seat to watch the artistry behind every piece. The quality of the ingredients, the precision of the preparation, and the genuine hospitality made this one of the finest omakase experiences we've ever had. Thank you, Michael, and the entire Masaki team, for making our holiday celebration so special. We can't wait to return for another unforgettable evening!

I honestly wasn't expecting much but the service based solely for the Omakase blew me away. The Omakase bar was in the back of the restaurant hidden away. The space was very open and the ambience was chic. This is a great place for date night, mommy night out, or group hangouts as they have private rooms too. Every piece tasted very fresh and were quite unique. The steam silky egg appetizer with crabmeat and fish roe was simple yet delicious. One of the dishes was an uni toro roll that was placed on top of our hands and was sprayed with edible gold glitter on us. That was a surprise and it was cute. And that uni just melts in your mouth. We had this matcha pudding with I think had an Oreo sprinkle in it was fabulous. They also surprised us with an extra dessert cause it was all 3 of our birthdays. Very enjoyable experience. Our sushi chef was very accommodating and made our birthday dinner memorable. We originally started out with the summer special of $78pp for a 12 course meal and decided to upgrade to the 14 course meal for $98pp. There was an option for a 17 course meal for $138pp but we were very full towards the end. They also had this $30 lunch and $60 dinner 3 course meal set for restaurant week. My friend's mom wasn't a fan of raw stuff so she ordered the Chilean sea bass with risotto and she wasn't a huge fan of it. The fish was a tad overcooked and the overall presentation of the dish looked more of a Chinese fusion dish. The risotto had that cheesy flavor but the presentation with the Bok Choy and the risotto looked more like fried rice and was confusing. I would stick with the omakase, which this place is known for.

We had a great, GREAT server named Maggie Chen, whose name I am mentioning here due to the fact she was able to set us up with a free desert for a kind (and fair!) review. Finger-licking good!! - We also shared then chicken lo mein - also delicious and a big portion (there were some leftovers) - The staff is always kind and very friendly.
