Stay away from this place! Sushi tastes OK hence the 2 stars. But I won't give it more because the portions are small and prices are high! I feel like I have to play hide and seek with my fish and veggies. As you can see in the picture, the tuna and avocado are bigger in some pieces and smaller in other (even not complaining about the Salomon, just happy I can see it). Please pay attention to the huge amount of rice, and I can't even talk about the wasabi! Barely there! Anyways, this roll cost me $8 used to be $6.50 and before that $4.50. Sushi pieces and ingredients used to be much bigger and were much cheaper! I think they need to do everyone a favor and close permanently so that another more worthy kosher sushi restaurant can take its place because what these people do is a ripoff! read more

Never ever have I been so disappointed in a sushi place - not even at the mall! I should've turned around when I walked in & noticed the owner eating fried chicken @ the counter-occupying the one stool to sit in. One sushi chef was outside eating lunch & the other Hispanic "chef" was nice enough to help me through the door w/ a stroller. I ordered the salmon lover's platter and the cashier asked "Which one?" I only saw one on the menu, but pointed it out anyhow. Well, lack of service aside, the sushi didn't look bad...it just didn't look like sushi...the slab of salmon lay on a mound of mushy rice. Not sushi rice...mushy, wet, day-old rice. The way the salmon was cut made me question whether it had been previously frozen. Then there was no wasabi or ginger to help fight off the fishy taste...I ended up not taking more than three bites for fear I would get sick. I really feel that if you are going to open a restaurant, do it because you have a passion for the cuisine. Not because you know you can make a quick easy buck! read more

Sushi tastes amazing! Love this place however, they are stingy with sauces. I ordered a big platter for 7 people to go and when I brought it home and took everything out, there was only once sauce container of each sauce. For a huge platter they should give a minimum of 2 container sauces. We had to share drip by drip. It was insane. I've mentioned this to them many times before when ordering platters. That it's simply not enough. I spent 80$ on my platter each time and deal with sauce deficiency which really makes me wonder if I'll go back.... little things like this makes a customer happy. I should have been more cautious as there was a customer there when I came in who had called in an order and was told 15-20 minutes, and was surprised that the order had not even been started yet. My order? Was told 20 minutes and it was 36 minutes!!! I begged the front desk guy, just give me what I have and give me a refund for the rest. He offered me a store credit! No way!!! Get out of here! You take my money, give me an estimated time and then refuse to deliver!!! Worst part of the whole experience? I ordered delivery from Sushi Fussion. The food was generally good, though there were some mistakes. They packed plenty of utensils and napkins. The soy sauce was many small packets of Kikkoman with no containers--kind of annoying. There were several containers of eel sauce. Strange since I didn't order any eel. Lots of spicy mayo, which I do like. The seaweed salad looked and tasted great, but it was watery, and it leaked all over one of the bags. The crispy rice is described as "Fried Rice topped with sweet sauce and spicy mayo, masago." What I got was sticky rice wrapped in breading and fried, and topped with a sauce that tasted like duck sauce, plus perhaps bits of tofu. It tasted nice, but there wasn't much masago or spicy mayo, and it was soggy. Miso soup was on the blander end of the spectrum. The seafood soup was tasted good enough. They definitely didn't skimp on the salmon. The cucumber was missing though. The salmon and tuna tartars tasted great, though they were spicier than most salmon or tuna tartars. The Gemini and spicy salmon rolls were fine. The palate cleansers and garnishes were carrots, ginger, and wasabi. The wasabi was watery. read more

Very rude over the phone ...almost immediately tried to brush me off because the delivery was for Fresh Meadows & said there is a minimum order of $40 Well, shouldn't they ask what the order is for before turning down a customer?? Ordered a $65 platter ... We go through the assorted roll options - and he interrupts me again to say - oh plus $5 delivery fee .. That's fine.... Can we continue with the order now??? Then he says his boss said he has to mention that part...(when? The beginning or middle of the order?) Finished choosing the rolls Was preparing my Amex card and he says "don't mean to rush you ... but can you hurry up"...seriously I took 5 seconds to get my card ready. Poor customer service, no manners. Will not be ordering here again. Every business needs to do more than hire workers. You get a huge platter of sushi, but it is all basically the same thing - tuna or salmon, avocado here and there with small variations on what is sprinkled on the outside. Tuna roll, tuna with avocado, cucumber and tuna, cucumber and tuna tuna wrapped in avocado sometimes covered with salmon. I found it boring. Some of the seared tuna was overcooked and dry, very unimaginative. There are a million sushi places in this neighborhood. This one is not the best, not the worst, but it is average at best. I had Miso soup from Sushi Fussion in Forest Hills. It is horrible! Let me start off by saying that I'm usually in love with Miso soup. I had one sip of this and spit it right back out. The soup was given to me watered down, I tried everything to season it up a bit and it still tasted like water. The soup only comes with tofu and scallions. They do not add the wakami, which is common in Miso soup. I ordered a Libra roll from Sushi Fussion about a year ago. Well oh boy have things changed! Horrible now. So one time, at band camp... Just kidding. I love veggie sushi. I mean, if I could eat veggie sushi as an appetizer to every meal I would be okay with that. Sometimes I'd have avacado, sometimes cucumber, and sometimes I'd have the red onion roll. Okay maybe they do this lots of places, but I haven't seen it. They fry onions....like onion rings, and then they put it in sushi. THEY PUT ONION RINGS IN SUSHI. Have you ever heard of something so delicious? NO, NO,NO! Omg I don't even know where to start with them. First of all I LOVE sushi, I really do but if I was a first timer trying this I would've never ate sushi again. Let's start with the worst thing I ate TEMPURA SHRIMP. You ever had fried water? No? Go order their tempura shrimps appetizer it literally tasted like nothing, to make matters worse it wasn't even crispy it was soggy . I had order a shrimp roll to go with my appetizer and why did I do that? The shrimp is clearly not fresh at all. My mother once bought frozen precooked shrimps from the grocery store and I never forgave her for that lol. They called us half an hour later demanding we pay by credit card (with 3% interest) because they were closing and delivery guy won't make it back in time before closing. I think this place deserves some updated reviews. My husband and I moved to Forest Hills nearly a year ago and I will admit, I was quite scared at first to try Sushi Fussion just based on the low prices - I mean, how could it be that cheap and be good quality fish? I gave in and gave it a try. Sushi was decent but the miso soup was lacking so it kind of just left a bad taste in my mind.... I wasn't too keen on eating there but my husband continued to enjoy it. I ate it a few times over the following 6 months or so but was never that excited about it. Recently, in the last 3 months or so, they have drastically improved their quality. Yes, the prices have gone up a few cents on the rolls, but I'm ok with that, because it's still INCREDIBLY cheap. My husband and I both get extremely full for less than $15 every time. This is great considering most kosher places we can't get out of spending less than $30 on dinner. Yes, it's a take out place with no where to sit. That's fine, sushi isn't messy so I don't feel bad bringing it home. The sushi is great and now my husband go there once, sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. The price is unbeatable and we love sushi. That said, I am very careful about eating raw fish, so I wouldn't eat here if it wasn't quality. Everything we bring home always smells fresh. The veggies always look and taste fresh too! One big red flag at a lot of sushi places is when you get the avocado in your rolls and it's already turning black - that's a bad sign - and that is NEVER the case at Sushi Fussion - my avocados is always perfectly & beautifully green. The prices might make you nervous, but these guys are making money on volume - every time I go there they are sending out tons of huge trays of sushi. So, you can trust they aren't lacking in quality even though they're giving you a good deal. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. We love this place & we will continue to go there often as long as we're in "The Hills." So, why not 5 stars? If it were sit-down or closer to my apartment, I'd give it 5 stars. I got sick and should have went with my instincts with the inferior quality of the fish, the off smell in the place (very small-mostly takeout), and the very limited menu(Kosher). I came across this new eatery a few weeks ago and finally got to try it out. In FH there are not many sushi joints heading down 108 street. This interior is very small, mainly this place is meant for take out and delivery. I ordered the spicy tuna and white tuna roll. The sushi chef made the rolls fresh on the spot within minutes. The white tuna was very bland if not tasteless. Just by taking a whiff of the tuna, I could tell it was not fresh. Normally fresh seafood is odorless. The spicy tuna was not spicy at all, I had to add wasabi to ignite more flavor. The prices on the other hand are reasonable, considering they are Glatt Kosher and must be closed on Saturdays. Both rolls, each sliced into 8 pieces, came out to $7.00 with the tax. For Queens I would say these prices are good, but I can definitely get cheaper, better quality sushi rolls in Chinatown. read more

They explained how to order the platter and that they customize it anyway u like. Prices are resasonable for kosher sushi. Got our delivery right on time. Yes you can't sit down but they have a sister restaurant in Great Neck where you can. The prices are good especially for the quality.
