I been coming here since the tip o covid. They never closed. Last night i had yearn for just Tofu steamed with mushrooms and scallions. 1-not on the menu. 2- they made it for me. 3- The best i ever tasted. It was a little late. I so appreciated it. At this point in time, family friends have eaten most of the menu. The meats dishes are always fresh. The soup always have flavor. The rice is always fresh. The garlic eggplant is a favorite of mine. Good staple Chinese food for the area. One thing I've noticed recently during my last orders is they seem to have a small sort of call-center now that handles your order taking and uploads it into their system rather than the normal "pen and paper" type ordering, making them a lot more efficient to order from. Ingredients tend to be very fresh, especially their vegetables and order accuracy has improved over the last couple of years as well. Their prices seem to change on the regular (as with most Chinese fast food restaurants) so make sure you're reading from their most current menu. read more

I like their food overall. Fried Dumplings are very good and really like their crispy shrimp special. My son loves the Lo mein especially since they offer it plain. Egg roll is standard ... general tso's could be improved- not really a fan of sauce a bit sour and chicken is a bit blah. read more

Food tastes like any other Chinese take out restaurant, nothing special. We ordered beef and broccoli, as well as shrimp chow mein. When we got home, we noticed the shrimp chow mein only came with white rice...no noodles. We called to complain and they said to come and pick up the noodles. When my husband when to get it, they gave him the crispy fried short noodles and they said this is what comes with it. The words chow mein literally translates to stir fried noodles, not fried little noodles. This is so bizarre! We've always gotten noodles with any mein dishes we order from take out and sit down Chinese restaurants. They said they could make us the stir fry noodles but it would take over a half hour. My husband left, as it had already been an hour since getting our food. read more

We made a dinner order last night. Seamless said the delivery would take 50 mins and we were ok with that considering the situation nowadays. An hour 15 mins after ordering, there was no delivery yet so we called to check on it.. it was "on the way". The place is a 5 minute drive if you drive the slowest possible.. 35 mins later, no food. So we called one more time, and the driver was "confused" so we said we would cancel on the app. After hanging up we noticed we couldn't cancel, they had to. So we called back to make sure it was taken care of and they ignored our calls, 5 times. I assumed they were screening our calls so we switched cell phones and boom! Answered right away. They didn't apologize ever, gave us the run around. They ended the phone call with "don't call back". I get times are hectic with corona but this was the least bit professional. read more

I've never had any bad experiences with this take out joint. The food is always very good and made quickly to order & they make sushi too which makes the take out Chinese or Japanese debacle so much easier. They have a three roll Sushi special which is such a good deal. It kills me to pay upwards of 16$ for take out sushi. These sushi rolls are fresh and to my surprise 8 pieces per hand roll. Can't comment on the Chinese food here but I do have to say that I am very happy with Jade Bamboo's 3 sushi rolls for $9.95 which they have all day and evening. Since my favorite place for sushi closed down where it was $7.95 for 3 rolls, this place is my next go to place for cheap and filling sushi. Don't expect anything too fancy since it is a take out joint. Delivery is very fast. read more

My boyfriend and I order from here frequently. He loves Chinese food and I love sushi. Therefore the idea of this place is perfect for us. The food gets here REALLY quickly which always amazes me. The food is good, nothing special, and definitely overpriced. I've never actually went inside of this place so I can't speak for that, but I do enjoy ordering from here often although it does hurt my pockets and may not be the best quality. When I am starving and there is no food in this house, this gets here quick and they always get my order right. The only specific complaint is that they don't send hot sauce, forks, or napkins unless you remind them too. Worth a try if you ask me, though there are better places out there. read more

I'm here eating at the moment. I live close by and while definitely not the best, I like to support my local businesses. The people are VERY nice which is a plus. I got the Shrimp in Garlic Sauce. I received 2 shrimps and a pound of vegetables and bamboo shoots and my rice. I love vegetables but I didn't pay 10 bucks for 2 shrimps rice and vegetables. Egg Rolls tend to be very soggy in the middle and wonton soup is good. Egg drop soup is also good. Boneless Spare Rib tips are toooooo sweet though. Good lawd. read more

Pleasantly surprised. I'm a vegetarian and found some tofu dishes that aren't on the menus of most Chinese places. Got the Mapo Tofu. Thought the price of $6.65 a little high but the amount of food is a good, solid meal. (I couldn't finish it.) I was ordering from a menu I had at home from March '22 so the prices had to have recently gone up. This is happening EVERYWHERE now (written 10/22). The tofu was creamy but firm. I've been looking in every Asian grocery store for tofu like this and cannot find it. The spice was perfect for me - just a little bit unless you chomp into one of the chili pieces, which are easy to fish out. It was really good. Broccoli with garlic sauce was standard fare but the broccoli was fresh and crunchy. Moo Shu vegetables came in a wet sauce which I've never seen before. I strained it so it wouldn't make the wraps soggy. But the taste was good, the veggies were fresh and crunchy. The thing that made me want to write a review was service. I wasn't sure they would deliver to me because I'm not that close by. I ordered on a Saturday night. I asked how long it would take and was told 45-50 min. Standard. 20 min. later my food was there! This location just gets worse and worse. It used to be a great place called Great Wall, then it changed hands twice, and now it is Jade Bamboo. The place looks really clean, I must say, but the food is just awful. I only ordered once, a Kung Pao Chicken lunch special, General Tso's Chicken lunch special and california rolls for three of us. The Kung Pao Chicken was made with those small pieces of diced chicken, but much of it was fat or just inedible. The rice was dry and lacked flavor. I did not try the General Tso's Chicken but my friend said it wasn't great. Then we opened up the California rolls, now I should have asked myself why I was ordering sushi from a take out, but I didn't. The California Rolls were FROZEN! Yes, they were stone cold. I cannot imagine what these workers did as they packaged them. Needless to say I called them back angrily and they would not even send over new ones (not that I wanted them at this point). If you are in the Middle Village area, the best, in my opinion, Chinese take out is Asia, located on Woodhaven Boulevard and 64th Road. read more

The sushi is very fresh and nothing beats the Steamed Wontons in Spicy Sesame Sauce. I always order that as an appetizer when I order chinese food cause they make it the best.
