I have always held SLT in highest esteem. The past two times I been in the shop I was disappointed by the way I was received by the staff with a glum attitude. When I engaged two separate people in conversation it was clear they were not well informed about the product options (a big surprise as I've only gotten expert advice here before). It made me sad to feel the way I felt. It happened twice, with different employees, so I worry it's a pattern. Really makes me sad. Used to think it was top of the line.

I absolutely love Sur La Table! I have been in Seattle for 7 years, but just recently discovered this awesome store! They have a few locations throughout the Seattle and Greater Seattle area. I absolutely love the vibe of the store. It is somewhat small, but it is very neat, clean, and tidy. The store has a very homey feel to it. The staff are very nice and provide great customer service. They answered all of my questions. We wound up purchasing a gravy boat, pasta server, ceramic knife, rainbow colored whisk, and stainless steel tongs. They are all great quality, and well made. Be warned, their prices are NOT cheap, but what you are paying for is quality over quantity. Also, it is Seattle, so things are more expensive, but Sur La Table is not your basic, but premium level of kitchenware and cookware, so you get what you pay for. I highly recommend Sur La Table for great kitchenware and cookware products!

Lots of great kitchen options both US and foreign. Lots of Sur La Table brand products too. Great location near Pike Place Market. They had a lot of great BBQ options with a front display for Father's Day. I'd like to try their brand name BBQ sauces, rubs, and spices. They even offered customers a free espresso from their in store demo in their large coffee maker section. Even had a worker offer the espresso as their circulated to help guests. Take a peek inside. Worth a few minutes for a visit.

Sur La Table - Translates to 'On The Table' in French - so if you love to eat you need the right equipment. I found some interesting items there that screamed out to me! Cast Iron shrimp grillers and Cast Iron oyster grillers and I bought 2 of each I can't wait to use! It was a great find never seen anything like them before. Grilling BBQ Oysters or BBQ Shrimp with some of my recipes of buttery sauces and spices. Going to be tasty!

This is a short review of a shopping experience at Sur La Table in Seattle. I seldom write reviews for businesses that are not restaurants. But I do love shopping at Sur La Table. When I lived in San Francisco, a drop-in at Sur La Table was always a mainstay of any visit to the Ferry Building. Thus far, in Seattle, as I passed by, I had resisted the temptation to duck in and check it out. But today, I was heading to give Michou a try and when my brother and I spotted Sur La Table, we decided to duck in and take a peek The staff was friendly and helpful. The store is chocked full of just about any cooking related device your heart could ever long for. If there is any negative, it is the store is so jam packed with cooking utensil goodness, it can be a tight squeeze to navigate the shop. We managed to find a few things to buy. The prices are relatively competitive. It has never really been a place for bargains but they also do not feel the need for an extreme markup. They offer premium and more affordable brands. http://tinyurl.com/kpeqggd Overall, if you are into cooking gadgetry or just have a real need for some cooking utensils, Sur La Table in Seattle is a great place to shop. You will find just about anything you could possibly need or want. Plus, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I decided to go with 1st Ave because they were very responsive on the phone and email, and they were able to do the work faster than GS. I also really liked that the people at 1st Ave weren't pushy like at they were at some of the other companies. They came though with all they promised to do - called me when they were on the way to the job site, installed everything so all cabinets and drawers lined up and worked flawlessly, cut the quartz offsite and came back to install countertops, and cleaned up after themselves. I have been recommending them to friends and neighbours, and I would most definitely use them again.

Beau is the best contractor we have ever worked with - very knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of home renovation, trustworthy, hard working, detail oriented, high-quality results, responsive, and transparent. Beau and his crew were efficient and skilled at their craft. Highly recommend Beau and CK&B Seattle to anyone doing home renovation. Beau is the best contractor we have ever worked with, bar none.  His attention to detail and his…read moreeye for design are both impeccable, and there is nothing we wouldn't trust him with.  He communicated clearly, kept us incredibly well-informed about the scope and timing of the project, and did everything he said he would, completing the project pretty much exactly when he expected to be finished, and on budget.  He gave us great advice throughout the process - including recommending when to order certain items, an impressive feat given the current global supply chain issues - in a way that was completely respectful and never pushy.  Our kitchen is now our favorite room in the house. A bit of background on our project: Beau dragged our kitchen from the 70s - no range vent, Formica countertops that buckled with the slightest pressure, cupboard doors that didn't fully close, to name a few issues - into the modern era.  This was a complete demolition, down to the studs, and rebuild.  Along the way, he removed an old chimney that ran from our basement, through the first floor, and into the attic; upgraded our hot water heater, and most of our old, galvanized plumbing; updated our electrical panel and removed a lot of knob-and-tube wiring; and widened our back door.  He had a clear understanding of what he could and could not do, and, for the latter, he had subcontractors lined up and ready to do the work.  Beau, his crew, and the subcontractors I interacted with, were all extremely pleasant, polite, helpful, and fun.  They were very nice to (and tolerant of) our pets, and did everything they could to make the process as unintrusive as possible.  They went above and beyond in so many ways, it's impossible to remember them all.  At the end of the project, the work was done as expected, was top-notch, and as much as we were glad to have the kitchen back, it was sad to see them go.
