To be fair, I didn't want to go to Ferguson today after our last experience 10 months or so ago - but I woke up and something changed my mind. We walked in and were immediately greeted by Shannon. We walked around the floor and were checked on quite frequently- all of the staff were very engaging and quite lovely actually. We had specific questions and Shannon actually called the manufacturer to check directly for us. The Manager Bud was quite funny and took the edge off of our intense conversation (between myself and my husband) rather humorously a time or two. There was one point Bud was giving a tour to three different parties showing us all where we needed to be. The transaction was seamless - which is a beautiful thing! My thoughts have changed on Ferguson Home on 1st. If you've gone before and weren't super impressed- try them again, it's worth the trip! Strongly recommend not purchasing from the Ferguson Home website. I had over $2000 worth of bathroom fixtures left in a public alleyway for over 24 hours. Ferguson customer service said since it was purchased from the Ferguson Home website delivery was picked up by a random delivery service and they had no control over why it was left in the alley. Proof that truth is stranger than fiction. read more

We've had an unbelievably poor experience with Ferguson. They were recommended by our plumbers, so we went and picked out a new toilet and bathroom sink and faucet set. I then made sure that Ferguson and the plumbers were in contact. The plumbers told me that the items would be delivered to their shop on Friday, July 24. As of yesterday they still hadn't been delivered so the plumbers went to pick them up. Only the toilet was found, and as of right now I have no idea where the sink and its hardware are or when they will become available. Communication has been abysmal. Never again! read more

Disappointing experience and poor communication I expected a better experience from Ferguson Home in Seattle, but it's been frustrating from start to finish. Despite being very clear that I would not need my plumbing fixtures until mid-December, I've been hounded to take delivery weeks in advance. I even added more product to my order in attempts to get more time. There's zero flexibility or understanding, even though this was discussed with the sales rep Wil up front. To make matters worse, their communication on appliance purchases has been painfully slow -- a few weeks, to get even basic appointment schedule. I ended up going elsewhere and I am so glad I did. For a company positioned as a premium home supplier, their responsiveness and customer service have been anything but. The showroom is nice and their products are solid, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. But the lack of professionalism, pushy delivery policies, and poor follow-through have made me regret choosing them for this project. I'll be looking elsewhere next time. read more

I stopped by the Seattle 1st Ave showroom location to ask a question about ordering large light bulb replacements. Bud the manager was very helpful and was able to locate 2 of the exact bulbs that I needed. Bud was pleasant and helpful. Wow! So disappointing. My husband and I entered and was never greeted... okay you're helping other people. I heard the sales people directing other customers to what they were looking for. But once done with them, NEVER had a sales associate attempted to ask us if we needed assistance. We spent our time walking through the store as customers walked in and were promptly greeted and assisted. We are looking to buy new bath ensemble. Guess I'm going somewhere else. I see others have had the same experience as I did. First off, I had a terrible experience on the phone a few years ago with a Ferguson salesperson. It was a while ago and got resolved very professionally by their then Regional Director, Ray Collins. He's not there anymore but he was a good guy. This time, I was in the market for a toilet. We visited the 1st Ave showroom on a weekend and walked around ourselves for a while, then we decided to inquire with a salesperson, first name Conor. He was ok, pretty dry, but he gave us pricing, a printed information and specs with his card and we went on our way saying we'd call to place an order with him. We'll, I did, and did, and did and Conor never picked up or returned my calls. I probably called 10 times in a week, even telling the front desk people I'd take a call from anyone after a while. Still, no one called me back. What gives Ferguson? I was trying to give you money and you refuse to return a sales call? Lucky for me, I found a competitor who matched their price and gave a further discount saving me almost $200! It worked out, but I'm gonna stop trying to give Ferguson money. read more

I've worked with Ferguson on a few home remodels and they are fabulous to work with. Trinh in the showroom really knows her stuff and had great suggestions for us. On the cabinet side, Erica was super-responsive and designed exactly what we were looking for. Listen, you can try to DIY and get it done for less, but take it from someone who knows: Stuff goes sideways. Then who you gonna call? If you work with Ferguson, they will take care of you and--at least with the associates I've worked with--do everything in their power to make sure you're happy with the results. read more

I would like to commend the salesperson Amari Anderson-Turner. My parents and I went to buy a new faucet for a kitchen sink for my parents' condominium. My father is blind, so Ms. Anderson-Turner got creative and effective in communicating what the faucets look like, how they work, the advantages and disadvantages. A lot of high end plumbing fixtures are high end because they look good, so she had to work a little bit to explain it all. My parents placed the order, the faucet was delivered on time and at cost, the plumber installed it (the condominium won't let me do any work in my parent's unit), and it works quite nicely, just as she said it would. read more

I am still scratching my head. I tried to spend 8k on a new fridge and I couldn't get anyone to call me back or respond to my email. This went on for weeks. I was working with Amari and she just simply went dark. I guess it wasn't the high-end model she was hoping to sell, but it was still 8k. I typically wouldn't spend time writing a review, but when you are without a fridge and the sales person simply does not care...you go somewhere else. If you see something you like at this store, copy the information down and shop around for better price. You will find the items online or other stores at a much more lower price. Trust me! My wife and I went in to Ferguson's in the initial stages of a bathroom remodel. The associate that helped us, Amari Anderson-Turner, was a delight to work with. My wife asked a lot of questions and needed a lot of advice on fixtures, tubs, sinks, etc. We took a lot of time, and Amari was very helpful and friendly. We were emailed lots of info and Amari started a wish list for our project. Ferguson's has a tremendous amount of fixtures in their showroom, and quite a few brands represented. Their prices varied from reasonable to quite expensive. Everything is expensive these days, so don't have sticker shock. Amari was kind enough to show us fixtures that fit our price point. read more

Buyer Beware. Ferguson Lighting Gallery has become such a rip off. I had the "joy" of assisting my boss and his wife renovating their home in Capital Hill. Unfortunately, we chose a package deal from Ferguson. Things began to horribly wrong with EXPENSIVE fixes in the following: 1. 3rd party incompetent installation crews. -Left vent cover on before hooking it up to the duct. -Sent defective power switch and blamed the non-working system on our electric system. Then took responsibility and replaced it after several inspections. -3rd party installers were eventually fired due to their inability to work with the contractors. 2. Got to the point where were finally decided to part ways with Ferguson and waited SEVERAL months for our $5K refund. Manager specifically stated he was siting on the refund. Do not make our mistake. Hire another company for installation and save yourself the grief of paying someone else to fix their mistakes. It is not worth aggravation and the added expense. read more

I had a good sense of the look we were going for with our bathroom remodel, but was looking for expert advice on how to put it together (what components to order), and what brands are recommended. In the end, we are happy with the products we selected, but I don't feel like the time spent at Ferguson was helpful. The salesperson, Amari, seemed annoyed at the whole process, my questions and eventual decisions (I assure you, I am polite and not demanding). We left spending $10k but feeling like we did something wrong. To top it off, there were extra pieces ordered that I don't think we can return, and an incorrect valve (we clearly stated we wanted both shower heads on at same time), so I had to rush order one in time for our plumber. A little awkward to find. It's on the corner of the building if you're navigation got you to the plaza. They validate parking if you use the lot they're adjacent to & can't get a pole position spot. Great service once you've made it in. The selection is a bit bare bones because they're trying to squeeze a little of everything. But the sales folks are knowledgeable. Have stuff you may not have seen elsewhere, and can help you troll catalogs. Worth a visit if you're working on your remodel and need options. read more

I went in to my scheduled 1 hour appointment well informed as to what I wanted with a few questions to clarify. Amari was rude, abrasive and uninformed. Her inability to communicate or provide essentially information required me to take the time to make a second trip to the showroom and connect without another rep to make sure my selections were correct. We remodeled a bathroom in 2018 and Ferguson was amazing!! 2022 is a different story. Customer service is sadly dead and BTW all orders end up through Build.com. Was very happy with my Build.com rep. We walked into Ferguson dreading the multitude of choices we had to make for our condo project. Bud solved all our remodel problems in a few hours, a feat that our highly-paid designer couldn't do in a month. He really made the experience fun and stress-free. He makes you feel you're the only person in the room and gives you his full attention. He is a charming, thoughtful man, very easy to be with. Bring this man your business! We've been searching for the perfect light fixture for our office conference room and decided to stop in to check out Ferguson's fixtures! We were fortunate enough to meet Vern, who was beyond helpful and professional. He is extremely knowledgable about the lighting industry and educated us about the best possible lighting solutions for our conference room. Vern brought out some catalogs and recommended multiple lines for us to check out online. He is helping us create a custom solution with a lighting rail and pendant lights. We found a pedestal bathroom sink here we really liked. The salesperson checked, said it had been discontinued. We offered to buy floor model. She said they couldn't sell it until they decided what they would replace it with on the floor, could be two to three months. Ok, we were willing to wait for it, still offered to buy. No dice. Remodeling TWO bathrooms and was feeling completely overwhelmed, until we met Neal at Ferguson! After only an hour my husband and I had basically everything picked out. Loved the selection, displays, and Neal just made it so easy! Then the worry that what we wanted was going to take 3-6 weeks to ship and our project kicks off in 5 weeks...but almost everything has arrived in 5 business days! After going to big box stores & small showrooms, it was a relief to find all the high quality items under one roof and knowledgeable staff. Neal was great - understood my needs and was willing to search for best quality without breaking my modest budget. Ferguson is same company as Build.com which means a huge inventory for choice and competitive pricing. I only gave 4 stars because I have not yet installed selected items - but I am feeling really good about the experience and it would have saved me a TON of time if I had just gone directly to them one month ago! p.s. Really nice gallery. They're by appointment only. We were helped by Trinh and she was fantastic. Took her time with us and guided us through ideas we had on fixtures. Really a good experience for us. We went through the store and picked out 3 different styles and she promptly put together quotes on all choices along with ideas she had based on our use of the fixtures. Very helpful. I ordered a bathtub from Ferguson and should have been more careful about the size ordered. The store refused to take the tub back because we opened the box even though the box was in intact condition. The warehouse manager Parker didn't let me talk to his superiors or provide any contact for escalation. Really disappointed and would never shop here again. read more

Sigh. Aside from the very friendly sales associate who helped us (there was really only one truly friendly person in the store; others were borderline rude), our Ferguson experience has been a small nightmare. We ordered two light bars for our bathroom based upon the display, but what we didn't know until they arrived is that the plastic tube looked BLUE when not turned on -- not attractive. We were told we could return the lights to a Ferguson warehouse in Shoreline (because they don't TAKE returns at the SoDo store), which is close to home (yay!), but when my husband arrived during normal business hours the employee there said, "oh, I don't know how to do that, you'll have to come back when the manager is here." Fine. So he went back another day, returned the lights to said manager (completely and perfectly repackaged; we'd only actually opened one of them)...and this was probably...sometime in October? We still have not been credited, despite him contacting them several times. Finally, today, on May 4th, a letter arrives from Ferguson saying "we owe you money!" Um...yes, yes you do. But do they just credit our Visa account? NOPE, my husband has to sign a letter and fax it back to them -- and god knows how much longer it will take to be refunded. I have never, ever seen such comically ridiculous customer service in my entire life. Cannot recommend, because if they can't handle a simple return, how can they be trusted with anything else? Ferguson was recommended by my contractor for a major remodel which includes 2.5 baths and a kitchen. When I went to the showroom on a Saturday (because hello I have a job during the week, you know to pay for this remodel) - I was told I would have to make an appointment and they don't do those on Saturday and oh, I can't actually schedule your appointment some one will have to call you on Monday to schedule the appointment but no one ever called me. I don't understand the purpose of the having the showroom open on Saturday if no one can actually help you without an appointment - and there are no Saturday appointments and why can I not make an appoint with the person sitting at the front desk. I shouldn't have to work this hard to give you a couple thousand dollar sale... read more

We bought a $500 Rohl sink faucet. The pop-up stopper rod was too long for our sink. The plumber said to talk with Ferguson. We called Ferguson customer support and they said to talk to the plumber. Neither has really tried to help. Both get one stars. read more
