Finally got to try this place out! The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, and the service was quick. The staff was also friendly and attentive throughout our visit. My friend and I ordered the supreme pork xiao long bao, supreme tan tan noodles, and chocolate melt xiao long bao. Everything came out piping hot and delicious, and the food definitely met our expectations. The supreme pork xiao long bao was comforting, especially with its warm, savory broth. I highly recommend enjoying it with soy sauce and vinegar. The supreme tan tan noodles really wowed us! The noodle-to-sauce ratio was perfect, with the creamy sauce evenly coating every chewy strand of noodle. We ended our meal on a nice note with the chocolate melt xiao long bao. There was surprisingly a lot of chocolate sauce inside, but it wasn't too thick or sickeningly sweet. I'm also interested in trying some of their other menu items, especially the mini pan-fried pork dumplings. I'll definitely be back soon!
Since there's no DTF in Houston, I will always be on the look out for some good soup dumplings and bbq pork chop and fried rice. Located in the heart of Katy Asian Town, parking could get a little crazy, had to drive a round a little until a spot freed up. The two dishes we ordered were the main reasons I came: XLB and Pork chop fried rice. Both were great! A little on the pricy side, but the food was good and fresh. Service was ok that day, not sure why it was slower than expected- it wasn't overly busy. But the restaurant was clean. While it was good for Katy or Houston, it wasn't a direct replacement for DTF.
The inside is a cute shop size. They have a bar at the front with interesting drinks. They also have a see through window where you can watch them hand make the dumplings. I tried the signature dumplings which came with a variety of the 8 dumplings- 2 of each flavor truffle, chicken, shrimp and pork, spicy pork. I also tried the Wagyu dumplings. The Wagyu dumplings were my favorite the soup inside tasted hearty and not too salty just a nice broth. The other dumplings that were one of my favorites is the taro dumplings. It tasted like they used real taro and they were made fresh. They were soft and sweet. The thing that I didn't like much was the shu mai. I tried the shrimp and pork and that was meh. The meat was too thick and the shape of the shu mai was too big. It seemed like the meat was almost stuck together with the outer layer instead of actually being inside of it. The spicy cucumber was more of a Szechuan flavor to it and chili oil than a vinegary spicy cucumber. It tasted more oily than anything. The service was okay he seemed attentive so nothing to complain about.
I treated my dad to a family lunch here for Father's Day and even though it was 1) a Sunday, 2) lunch hour rush, and 3) a well known family holiday, the waitlist moved along quickly and the service was prompt. My first impression was already good, but the experience continued to get better. The menu is great, with plenty of classic Taiwanese and Shanghainese staples and a couple of respectful but experimental dishes. Lots of xiao long bao options. Drink menu has a lot of variety. It's super pretty inside! Great for a special occasion. EVERYTHING we tried was so good. Portions are on the smaller side, but it felt like the perfect amount of food for us. We ordered: - Wild mushroom fried rice (5++/5): This was the surprise hit at our table. I would come back just for this alone - Beef roll (5/5): Delicious!! These aren't rice rolls, but they're rolled in what looks like more like pastry. - Wagyu beef xiao long bao (4/5): I don't think wagyu beef was necessary if it's going to be hidden in soupy xiao long bao anyway, but we ordered it for the special occasion. This was still delicious but I'll go with more of the classics in the future. - Matcha lava xiao long bao (3/5): This was a little too sweet/overpowering for me but my matcha loving dad really enjoyed these! This was my first time visiting, but wow, this restaurant quickly flew up my rankings of favorite places to eat in Houston! - Ambiance: 5/5 - Food: 5/5 - Service: 5/5
Place is cute, decorated well, clean. I just thought the flavors were lacking in the rice (so bland) and cucumber, the drinks were terrible (why is my margarita carbonated?) and I didn't care for their Bao. Its also very small so we were like half an arms length from table next to use, kinda noisy environment. The pan fried dumplings were good - recommend trying those. And I like they had wild mushroom fried rice, thats unique but could use some more flavor. I got my son the spicy dumplings to go and he only ate one because he didnt like the insides, and he's a dumpling-holic. Just all in all it was a one and done for me. Since it's in Asia town, parking is a mess and non-existent, but the place it self was not busy. We walked right in with no wait. Waitress was nice. Prices were decent (except drinks were over priced for the quality) **updating my review because the restaurant did respond, which I always appreciate. Shows they care.
I've heard this place is DTF dupe, so I had to go try. I love Din Tai Fung, so my expectations were high. I ordered some similar items, but it was a disappointment. The noodle dish I got was very salty, so I wouldn't recommend it. The fried rice was delicious even though it's just fried rice. Restaurant is small and seats are crammed together, so you don't have that much room. The service was okay! It's a little bit harder to grab a servers attention when it's packed, so keep that in mind.
Best Xiao long bao soup dumplings in town! Food was delish and atmosphere was beautiful and clean, service was great too! If you're looking for dim sum this menu is limited to dumplings and other dishes.
A very specialized restaurant from the perspective of Bao and I found every one of them that I ordered simply wonderful inclusive of pork, chicken, crab, beef as well. I had some spicy cucumber and the next time I'm going to order it with steamed rice, which is also readily available. I do not know how close to authentic this Bao is however, regardless of its authenticity it has a wonderful flavor that is well worth experiencing. Aside from the wonderful food is the equally wonderful service which was efficient effective and fun. The waiter we had was absolutely perfect given that we did not have experience in this particular menu. In this particular case, he also seem to be seconding as the bartender and he did quite a marvelous job at that although frankly, I simply had a Nigiri sake, which was wonderful. It is a relatively small area, but the ambience is quite well appointed. I would say somewhat modern for 2026. Everything was clean well appointed and a pleasant atmosphere overall. I would encourage whoever is reading to make reservations, especially on a weekend night as the waiting list if for walk-ins is rather extensive. This is a restaurant well worth visiting in Katiy Asia town
Everything was absolutely amazing! The food is great the server was the friendliest and gave amazing Service. I plan to come with my family at least once a month. So fresh. The quality you get from here is top tier every time. I have even had this ordered to go for lunch and I get the same great quality on my to go orders as well. Ambiance is amazing!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND Stopped in for lunch and had an absolutely fantastic experience. We ordered the spicy wontons, spicy pork soup dumplings, and hot and sour soup -- and every single dish delivered. The soup dumplings were perfectly made, packed with flavor, and you could tell they were fresh. The spicy wontons had just the right kick, and the hot and sour soup was rich, balanced, and comforting. I came during lunch, and there was no line or wait, which was a nice surprise. I've heard that dinner usually requires a reservation or comes with a long wait, so lunchtime is definitely a great time to go. The restaurant is fairly new, and they've done an incredible job with the space. It's beautifully decorated -- high-end, trendy, and very inviting. One of the coolest features is being able to see into the kitchen and watch them making the dumplings fresh from the main dining room. The staff was excellent -- truly amazing. Everyone was so nice, attentive, and helpful, which made the entire experience even better. Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish. I highly recommend and will absolutely be back!
Ordered wagyu & pan fried xiao long boas, stir fried string beans, Szechuan chili oil chicken & beef noodle soup. Kids loved it & we'll definitely be back!
Each visit has been consistent with food and service. Nice ambiance for friendly hangs out and causal date night. My go to would be the Szechuan spicy xiaolongbao, crab & pork xiaolongbao, shrimp & pork xiaolongbao, supreme tan tan noodles, wild mushroom friced rice (husband fav), pork chop fried rice, and stir fried green beans. Gets a little expensive if for larger groups due to portion sizes.
Tried Supreme Dumplings for Sunday lunch and got seated right away thanks to a Yelp reservation. This might be my new favorite spot for soup dumplings in Houston. It's the closest I've found to Din Tai Fung, the dumpling wrappers are super thin and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The only dish I didn't love was the spicy cucumbers, which could use a little improvement. Other than that, everything was great. The restaurant is cute with an upscale feel, service was attentive (our water glasses were always full), and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely coming back!
Reviews are largely positive. Many highlight the soup dumplings, delicious fried rice, and inviting ambiance.

My wife and I came to this new dumpling place, at first look glance this place is small but cozy, not too crowded. The service here is good, but it did take about 10-15 minutes for someone to actually come up to us and ask us for our order. Other than that once they get notice they are on top of their service. We ordered the Frozen Mango Lemonade and the Sunshine Lemonade. Both drinks were very good, but the Sunshine Lemonade was served without ice and it came out lukewarm not as cold as we expected. For the our entrees we ordered: Green Stir Fried String Beans Supreme Spicy Pork Wontons Szechuan Spicy Xiao Long Bao The Green Stir Fried String Beans were delicious and very flavorful! Fresh and nicely cooked, would definitely recommend giving it a try. The Supreme Spicy Pork Dumplings were to our liking as well. Taste was great and the spices were not overpowering, this dish was indeed cooked nicely. And for our last dish we ordered the Szechuan Spicy Xiao Long Bao. Since these dumplings were made from scratch I would recommend to be careful and not eat them straight from the get go, give it some time and eat them preferably once they cool down a bit. At first they tasted great, nice flavor and texture, but these definitely have a kick in spices compared to the Wontons that we also ordered. So if you are not a big fan of extreme spice I wouldn't recommend the Spicy Xiao Long Bao, but if you can handle the heat then it is a must! read more

Very impressed by this place. Worth the extra $ trust me. The beef roll had a light, very lightly pastry around it so you get most of the amazing flavors of the beef with a slight outside crunch. The pork chop fried rice? Wow, perfectly cooked pork with a slight crunchy coating but perfect especially with the rice. The spicy beef bun was the star even though everything was incredible. I ordered hot for spicy and I have to tell you....simply amazing. If you like papusas minus the cheese and slopiness then this is your love child. The dough was so buttery and flaky it makes my mouth water as I write, I should have ordered 10 of them. The meat was so soft and the flavoring was exceptional. The heat was wonderful and interesting as you get an amazing taste sensation from each bite and the heat kicks in as an aftertaste but perfectly. This place is a 5+ for me and I dont give 5's out often. My gosh, great, amazing and a spot you can't ignore or you are missing out. read more

The food is good, but the tables are way too close together. It's uncomfortable sitting just inches from strangers and being able to hear entire conversations at the next table. Portions are somewhat small, especially the shrimp fried rice, it's mostly rice and eggs with a few shrimp just layered on top. The food itself tastes good, but the portions and seating setup make the experience less enjoyable. read more

First time visiting here and will be back!!! Upscale feel for a casual spot and excellent service. The wait staff is knowledgeable and helped with recommendations. Food came out promptly and you can definitely tell fresh and made in-house. The menu is small and would have liked a few more options. Cant wait to come back for more. read more

Good was very tasty and well presented. Dishes were better than dumplings as the dumplings were small portioned. Hot and sour soup was very good. Scallion pie was somewhat greasy. Waitstaff was attentive. On the small side so be ready for a wait. read more

Everything from the service, food, and atmosphere was amazingggg!! Me and my boyfriend ordered the pork xiao long bao, red chili wontons, and supreme tan tan noodles. The pork xiao long bao was super delicious, one of the best i've had. The tan tan noodles surprisingly were soooo good, would definitely recommend. The red chili wontons were good but not the best, at least in my opinion. Our service was amazing, very attentive. We will be back! read more

From the outside of the building, it looks deserted. The tables are behind the bar. We read the reviews and everyone says it was great but it looked empty. Had a wait a bit for clearing a table but not a long time. Maybe since they are new they don't have full staff. Food was fantastic. Wasn't super hungry but ended up eating it all it was so good. I wish I took better pictures to do this food justice but it was so good I forgot to until after I finished eating. As someone who's family goes to eat every weekend fri-sun I have tried many restaurants in the Katy and Houston area but this by far might have became my favorite one! I ordered the Szechuan xiao long bao 10/10 for me it was the perfect amount of spicyness, plenty of soup, wrapper perfect consistency. I also got the garlic green beans and they exceeded my expectations. The pork fried rice was good the pork was juicy and crispy the rice I just wish had a little more fried but was good. The taro milk tea tasted like Froot Loops cereal milk! Sooo yummy! Our server Thomas, was the best server I've had dining out! We only had to wait around 10 min on a Saturday at 8pm. I rate the restaurant 9.5/10 overall definitely telling everyone about it. read more

like - new, therefore very clean inside. flavors for xlb was good. good service. food came out quick. spicy beef bun had great flavors. mini pan fried dumplings were good. crispy bottom. meh- xlb was luke warm. it's incredibly loud in the restaurant. maybe it's just the acoustics of the place? the braised beef noodle soup was different than what i expected but portion size was the meh part. super tiny. since im not local to katy, i dont think id come here again given all the options in asia town. i prefer nan xiang express for xlb read more

Tried this spot for the first time and it instantly became one of my go-tos. The mini pan fried dumplings are insanely good, crispy on the bottom, juicy inside, just perfect. The supreme pork xiao long bao were next level too, full of flavor and super fresh. Chill vibe, clean place, and fast service. If you're craving dumplings, this is the spot in Katy. read more

I'm so glad we tried Supreme Dumplings! I was hesitant because we love other places but Supreme really did deliver. I love their fun drink menu (great N/A options), great music, and the food was actually delicious. Xio Long Bao didn't disappoint, the green beans were crisp and flavorable, and the Chocolate Melt Xio Long Bao were a fun dessert. My least favorite was the Tan Tan noodles but that was just personal preference. read more

Their tan tan noodle (savory) and scallion oil noodle (on the sweeter side) dishes were the best!!! - would come just to eat those alone. Black truffle fried rice had great wok hei and wasn't too heavy Enjoyed the szechuan spicy xiao long bao, black truffle & chicken xiao long bao, and mini pan fried dumplings the most although the supreme pork and crab & pork were also amazing! The wintermelon tea w/ milk & strawberry yuzu lemonade were amazing and I'm usually not a fan of hot teas but their Lychee Black & Peach Oolong were phenomenal- light, refreshing, and not too bitter at all- the perfect palate cleanser. Lovely ambiance with extremely warm and attentive staff! Would recommend for family dining, dates, or solo (very nice bar area) read more
