Came out excited to see Jauz since this is a new venue. We had high expectations since nightlife is nowhere close to LV or LA. I like the entrance way that has mirrors and fun lights, but this is establishment is nothing fancy. There's doesn't seem to be AC here, or any sort of circulation in this building, so I'd advise wearing a mask for safety precaution but it was super musty and muggy, and felt like a sauna. Before entering, one of the employees mentioned it was 72 degrees when we first got in, which was around 9:30pm and she said it would only get hotter. The place was overcrowded and we considered getting a table so we could have a seat during the event but there was no view of the stage because the only one left was in the back corner upstairs. There are only 3 tables total for bottle service, not a lot of options since it's a small club. If you're paying for VIP service you should at least be able to enjoy the stage. We checked out the very back of the top floor, and the cushions were stained and wet. It didn't seem like they had been cleaned so it was not worth trying to sit there. It was so disgustingly hot upstairs we stood by the window for a part of the show. I'll reiterate there was a lack of air circulation and AC. Downstairs, what a hot mess. Even the back by the bar has a shoddy view of the stage, this is obstructed by the low ceiling. Bartenders were at least quick and easy-going. Restrooms are a joke, they're unisex which I didn't care for because I'd like my privacy away from men but that's not the issue. The line was so damn long, and to add, there's only restrooms downstairs. We went earlier on in the evening when there wasn't many people there, however, later down the road we had to wait about 10 minutes to take a leak. We wouldn't return here. read more

Cool venue, stage was awesome and workers were nice. Only one negative thing. the entrance is to the top floor, and they said we had to exit through the bottom floor. When it was starting to get busy, they make you wait in line to go downstairs. I'm assuming because of capacity. So you had to wait in line, and they wouldn't let you go down unless you were vip or someone came back up. Which meant if you wanted to leave, you had to wait your turn. Just thought this was weird. Went to check out the "reopening" of this club. The dancing was fun, but only could handle the space for about 2 hours due to lack of air flow and ventalion. Be care the auto set a option for a 15% tip at your entry charge which is a bit overpriced. Pack your own drinks in your car as the y are also REALLY overcharged. Paid $30 for 2 cans of beer and a sober soda which also all had a 15% tip auto pay. Hope these owner don't have the same bad reputation as the last club that was in this spot, but it doesn't seem to start off well. read more

There is no other club like Supernova. That may be good or bad depending on your persuasion. If you want to experience a night out that feels like NYC or Ibiza in the early 90s (quoth a recent out-of-stats house music DJ legend), with all the glam, flair, and positivity you only get with something brilliantly different and inclusive, you'll call this place home. If you're a clubber's clubber looking for pretense and bangers in da club, well, try this out. It's unapologetically what it is, and what it is (while being truly PNW) hasn't been done ever in this town on this level. This club is awful! The cover charge is high! Their employees are arrogant and extremely rude and for it being an inclusive club it's the exact opposite. I'd spend my money elsewhere before wasting your weekend to overpay for drinks and get treated poorly by the employees. I was here with a group of friends for their opening weekend. I think I was in line for a good 3 hours before finally going Inside. I totally appreciate the queer friendly vibes, the music was on point with some of my favorite sax players on stage. I ordered a mojito but was told they don't make it. This place may not be the one to go if you're looking for a specialty mixed drink. The bartender didn't tell me why she couldn't make it. So I settled for a Seattle Cider: $15, a 20% gratuity was included a the point of purchase. They had 1 portable air conditioner for the entire venue. Be ready to break a sweat and be very hot. They do allow people to step outside for a smoke and fresh air, socialize and mingle. The bathrooms are gender neutral, great for our trans brothers and sisters. I recommend Supernova if you're visiting from out of town and wanting to experience a mega party in Seattle. But if you are a local, you could find something very similar without the inconvenience of hot air and long lines. read more

Supernova is the only club I like in Seattle. The interior is fantastic, the outfits are fantastic, the vibe is great, music loud & fun. Open til 4:00; a great place to dance off any remnants of a buzz. This is my favorite place to dance. I did not think I liked going to nightclubs until I went to Supernova. I tried a few others since and they were alllllll a let down. They check your vax card, you gotta wear a mask if you're not actively drinking. They fuse live music with a DJ and it's amazing. If you like spending money on a table and being kicked out for no reason this is your place! Literally was having a blast with all my friends and was told I danced with the "wrong person". I literally had to call my girlfriend at my $500+ table to let her know I wasn't being let back in and the only reason given to me was that the owner didn't like who I was dancing with? Seriously? One, I was dancing with my crew and think that's the whole reason for going to a club. If I happened to dance around someone that made someone uncomfortable and to kicked out a club for dancing, that person shouldn't have a club. Do yourself a favor and go to any place but this one and for god sakes don't buy a table unless you want to be treated like a second class citizen for having some fun. Never again! read more

This one bartender on a power trip kicked out a group of my friends for literally no reason (check the reviews here and on Google - this happens a lot). The owner, staff, and performers here are top-notch. You can tell a lot of heart, soul, and thought went into creating this space. Yes it's a little pricey but so is everything else! I'd rather spend a little extra here and know I'll have a good time with good people. I also really appreciate that they have staff and security with eyes on the dance floor at all times and they will kick people out for being creepy and aggressive. They are genuine about wanting to maintain a safe environment! No cranberry juice (??), watery drinks, automatic 20% tip added to your order which is hard to see in a dark club and they give tip options on top of that so it felt like they were trying to trick you into tipping 40%+ for bad drinks. It is such a relief to have a club that takes sexual assault prevention so seriously. They have made abundantly clear that they are dedicated to protecting people from being drugged and will respond swiftly and forcefully if someone is being harassed or preyed upon in some way. I can't even say how wonderful it feels to dance and party in a place that actually cares about preventing sexual violence and uses their security staff to actually keep people safe. I really wish more bars and clubs would follow their example. read more

Our group arrived at about 9pm on a Saturday. We didn't wait more than 20 minutes to get in. I was accidentally charged for 2 covers ($50) when I was only paying for myself to get in. I wrote the club on Instagram about it on Monday and showed the charge to them, explaining what happened. They VERY quickly took care of it and my money was returned which I really appreciate.
