My friends and I had a few beers here and ended up leaving when the sun went down. Music was blasting, everyone was chanting SEA-HAWKS!, and the staff was super friendly. PLUS, they allow dogs here. I also dig the prohibition-era vibes here, paying homage to Seattle's underground days. If you're in Pioneer Square and need a drink or three, Underbelly is a fun spot for that. The only real issue was the photo booth which only worked for the first half hour or so. I'm assuming it ran out of film or something because at some point, it just kept taking people's money without taking any photos, which was brought up to the staff. This isn't necessarily on Showbox since the photo booth is provided by a vendor, but I would've appreciated an "out of order" sign. If this happens to you, you can visit the vendor's website and call for a refund!

I'ld call it more comfortable than quaint. Parking was a total pita, but the sound mixer was on point and the music was clear for every instrument with nothing over-riding anything else unnecessarily.
