I'm not big on fancy hair cuts for years now, so I'm fine with not going to a place that charges $45+ because I don't do anything special like lobs or layers that I did when I was younger. Supercuts has gone up in price, though, in the past few years. It's now $25 for a dry cut. I don't do wet cuts cause they come out shorter than you would like. I mostly need a trim or face frame. If I do splurge on hair, it's for color, and I go somewhere else for that. I haven't colored my hair in 2-3 years. It's been anywhere from balayage silver/gray, rose gold/pink, purple to chocolate brown. My usual stylist left the Supercuts in Spring that I would normally go to when working or visiting family. I'm glad there's one near me in the city. There's plenty of parking at the Washington Ave. location. It shares a lot with other businesses and is next door to the specialty pet store Natural Pawz. The inside is bigger and very clean. There's one unisex restroom. I made an appointment online which was easy. I checked in when I got there and didn't have to wait long as she finished with a client. Jacque was wonderful. She listened to what I wanted which was to keep my face frame length and cut 3 inches off straight across. My hair is to my waist, so even with that much cut off, it's still fairly long. Goodbye to the final remnants of my blond hair that I grew out from the last coloring 2-3 years ago. Jacque was so easy to talk to, and we discussed our work interests and experiences with special education. I will definitely continue to come back to this location for haircuts with Jacque. She recently moved here, so maybe the other reviews here were with former stylists. I also read Google reviews, and they rated Jacque and Mai very well. read more

I'm so freaking mad. I scheduled an online appointment for a cut, shampoo, and blow dry. I got only a hair cut. I didn't say anything at first I waited to see when she was going to take me for my shampoo but instead she walked me to the register to check out. She then realized she needed to finish my hair. I just kindly said it's ok I'll just go somewhere else and left . No tip no service. I don't recommend this location for their poor customer service. read more

I came in for a quick haircut since they had a great opening deal ($9). They were able to get to me right away. Haircut took maybe ~30 minutes and the stylist was very nice. The studio was also very clean since it is a new location. I asked for a 4-inch trim and the stylist was very good about going over the details in the beginning. Not sure what happened but he ended up cutting about 7 inches off when I came home and measured. He told me the bottom layer would be right around the bra line but it's about 3 inches above that. My haircut doesn't look bad, and I'm actually not mad, but it's not exactly what I had initially asked for. I also wish that had had cut my hair in an angle away from my face, rather than straight above my head and letting my hair pieces falling on my face. All-in-all it was not a bad experience considering how fast and inexpensive this haircut was! read more

I just left the Supercuts on Washington Avenue a few minutes ago and had to pull over because I couldn't wait to review this place! I scheduled an online appointment for 5:40pm online for a Supercut JR, which is a haircut for 10 years and younger. My daughter is 6. I am aware it's not an official appointment and can take longer to be seen. However upon arriving at 5:39pm, the big, tall chick with the very long, almost platinum blond ponytail made it VERY obvious to look at the clock and then look at me. She was tending to someone else. If you don't want to take appointments so late, perhaps you should ask to switch your shift? From the start I got bad vibes from her. When she was done with her customer, it took her 10 minutes... TEN minutes to sweep up hair. During this time she was being very slow which I felt was on purpose, and chatting with the other stylist and her customer, and tending to them. When it was our turn finally, she lets out a very annoyed "so what are we doing here?" With the stankest look on her face. I said "I would like a Supercuts JR." she said "it's going to be $25 because her hair is long." Mind you, their menu says $19.95 in store AND online with no mention of hair length on either. She then proceeded to show me a hair length chart. I asked her how short do they expect kids hair to be at the age of 10. My daughter is 6 and the price should be honored, and she said "it's still going to be $25." I said "last time I was here, Mai tended to me and only charged me what your menu says." To which she replied "yeah well, Mai didn't know what she was doing." So rude. Had she been nice and not has the crappiest attitude I wouldn't mind paying the extra money, but since she decided she wanted to act like a pompous a**, I will no longer be coming to this location as long as she works there. And Supercuts, if this is really your policy on hair length, regardless of age... maybe you should state that as a disclaimer under the description of "Supercuts Jr." read more

Check in advised the wait time was 8 minutes. 45 minutes later I was still waiting and no one checked or advised how long it would be. A woman then came in and got a quick haircut and left while I sat there. She had not called ahead Had to leave to get back to work. Not a great lunch break. read more

DO NOT GO TO MELISSA! Melissa has no skill, no training and no business cutting women's hair. She might be better sticking to buzz cuts. I showed her a picture for curtains bangs and long layers. She cut off so much hair that my layers went so far back, my ears were on display with my hair down. I have a mushroom puff on top of my head. And the shorter layers were laying under the longer layers. Patty the manager was professional and emphatic. She saw the baffling cut and tried to fix it but so much was already butchered. I appreciate Patty resolving the issue but Melissa needs more training and should not cut women's hair. read more

Went in for a haircut, only one person cutting hair and it was an hour wait. I showed the woman cutting my hair a picture of myself with the desired style and length. I explained to her in detail the length and style. She butchered my hair, did not come close to the picture of the description at all and did not care. Avoid this place at all costs, they do not care and will just shave your head to get to the next customer. Will never come back. read more
