I had a really bad experience with my recent haircut that had me in tears on the chair at the salon- and then was told that I did not know what bangs were supposed to look like (even though I've had fringe bangs in the past)- I normally travel further away for my original hair stylist but decided to try a haircut from here for the first time as I had gotten my hair toned it and liked it- I asked for a wispy fringe that I've had multiple times in the past (I showed the hair stylist with pictures of me with bangs in the past). She told me she could do what I showed and I trusted her- she unfortunately ended up cutting an extremely thick fringe that was blunt and extremely short/uneven (pictures posted). I told her I didn't like it as it was choppy and extremely think but was told that I just "didn't understand bangs" and she continued to cut until I asked her to just stop because it just kept getting worse. I ended up having to go to my original hair stylist the next day to see if he could salvage what she had done (which he unfortunately could not). I now have an important event in one week and have a bad haircut I am trying to figure out how to hide. On top of that; there was no apology or acknowledgement other than being told that it was just me not understanding. I had to pay $145 only to go get this mess fixed. Just beware of the stylists when it comes to hair cuts here because I am traumatized and will never be coming back to a cut again. I have pictures for reference as well. read more

It was my first time here and I love that they were able to accommodate me in such short notice! Stephanie M. really talked me through the whole process of what I was wanting. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time and answered all my questions. It's nice to find someone you can really vibe with as well. She really took her time and I did not feel pressured or rushed throughout my time. The establishment also is very clean and the playlist is great! From the moment I walked in the door, Logan at the front desk was a literal ray of sunshine, and trying to make me as comfortable as possible. Being a mom of two kids, working a full-time job, and a million other daily tasks means my time is super important to me and I don't have much of it. I am not a girl who likes to get her nails and toes done or who really even enjoys a salon experience or being pampered. For me it's about getting a service done well in the most efficient way possible, so I can get on with my day, and Stephanie, my stylist that Coma not only understands that perfectly, but she prides herself on being on time, being meticulous with every detail from the the moment you sit in her chair, until you leave, and it is just so clear that she takes so much pride in her craft, and making sure the customer leaves feeling like they got exactly what they wanted and what works best for their lifestyle. I cannot sing her praises highly enough, and as we all know, Hair can be expensive and when you're paying a lot of money for something, you want the service to match the price, and with Stephanie, I feel like when I left the salon. She gave me not only the look I was going for, but she tailored it to set how she knows I will maintain it. She is so talented, and so hungry to learn more and achieve more, and it's refreshing to see someone who loves what they do and it shows through their beautiful work. Coma seems to really be forming a dream team. It was refreshing to watch each member of the staff jump in to finish my appointment, as I was the last client there, and instead of 1 complaining about not going home on time, or anything, they all jumped in, and so happily helped finish my hair, even Logan at the front desk, step into assist, and they all did so so excitedly because they were genuinely looking forward to seeing their finished product work so well, and their client feels so happy with it. In a world where I now feel like the customer experience is dead, and most businesses do not seem to understand that you have a choice where you go, and whom you spend your money, and there is still value in that, and that is what keeps their business going, it was beyond refreshing to watch these people so clearly care that I was not only getting what I wanted, but that they made me feel comfortable and heard and tended to.
