I went in to have a bad haircut fixed (that another salon did) and Lanora did a fantastic job! I had to go shorter than I ever have in order to fix it but I am so impressed and like it a lot!!! I didn't know I could check in online but I still only waited about 3 minutes before it was my turn. Not our usual location, but we came Here since there wasn't a wait. The 2 African American ladies cut my sons hair and they both were incapable of providing a smooth faded undercut. 1 was rude when we asked about the choppiness of it. We finally just had them stop before they took off so much length there wouldn't be hair is try and fix their messes. Both kiddos hair is choppy and uneven. Let me start by saying I was very skeptical of getting my natural hair done here. I was short of time and needed it done. Looked at the reviews and went for it, walked in and Miss Lenora took me back I told her what I wanted and she did a great job. And gave me nice tips to maintain my hair. A very clean location. Both stylist had a very nice, practical hairstyle that looked good on them. They both were working like busy bees since during lunch time they had a semi-rush. For some odd reason some customer's walked in and kept on asking for a lady Natasha whom I found out is the manager . Mixed feelings. I come here regularly because it's cheap and I just get a trim, no fancy styling. But when I've been sitting and waiting for half an hour before someone even comes to put my name on the list, and people keep walking in and getting helped immediately because they checked in online, you can imagine why I'd be a little frustrated. I was surprised by this location's level of service and quality of haircut for their prices ($13 for haircut, $5 for shampoo). After a few nightmare experiences at common haircut places like Great Clips or SuperCuts, I started getting haircuts at pricier salons. My first haircut here was back last year with Janel, who was very attentive, careful, and thoughtful with my haircut (asking me whether the length, layers, etc.) were okay, which made me feel a lot better about how the haircut turned out. This week, I went back in and wasn't able to see Janel since she was already with another customer, but Latasha was just as awesome and my haircut looks great! I'm usually not too good at getting regular haircuts every 3 months or so (because of my past bad experiences), but now that I know I have two hairstylists I can trust, I'll definitely be coming here regularly! Two quick recommendations: if you can check in online before you arrive, it should help you be seen quicker since they do not take appointments. They serve customers based on order of check-in (either in-person when you arrive or online). Coming during off-peak hours is also a good idea too because this particular parking lot rarely has enough spaces with all the other businesses during busy times (e.g. 12 noon-5 pm on weekends). read more

This location is new (and they sweep your hair into a vacuum thing in the wall, how spiffy!) so I'm going to guess the slow service and computer issues are a new location issue. I still prefer SportsClips over at Taylor/Sawyer for my kiddo, but there's another option in the neighborhood now for a kid haircut. read more

If the only requirement is to say "yes" to "did you check in online", then I'm going to say yes next time. Yep you already know I'm yelpn'. I come to this salon every time I get a drastic hair cut. It doesn't happen often but when I do I go here because of what I thought was great customer service for such a good price. Unfortunately that was not the case today. Came in to get bangs done for the first time in 22 years, so kind of a special occasion. Walked in no hello, then as I watch this customer thank his hirdresser for the great job she said nothing. He continued to thank her but nothing, not even eye contact. Already put off, and if I'm put off by some hairdresser my ass ain't getting no hair cut. So funny stuff right here, she asks my name. I say Brittany, she says, last name or first?? Um...lol... My first, don't know many Brittany's as a last name, look story short this Ginger I think, April or something like that was horrible, just mad at life and wondering why she was cutting hair. The other hairdresser was smart to tell her to stop. Poor man next to me was going to get his hair done by her, I told him good luck. $13 is $13. I'm not wasting my time or money on a shitty hairdresser. And one more thing, as someone who is in the restaurant industry constantly dealing with customers I know that if you want a repeat customer, you do everything you can to give that customer a great experience from beginning to end. So this is the place that I take my son Bradley to get his haircut. He's only five so I can't justify paying for him at the place that I go to. I have tried a number of places and really didn't like them enough to keep coming back. I think the only reason we tried this place was because they sent us a coupon in the mail and it was down the street from my house. The first time I went, I had Aundrea and I thought she did a good job. Since she did a good job, I decided to bring him back but she wasn't working that day. I went ahead and let whoever was working cut his hair and they were horrible. After coming home and being real disappointed with the outcome I brought him back a day or 2 later for Aundrea to fix it. Luckily she was able to fix it. I'm giving them a 3 star review only because they won't let you put 3.5. I wouldn't really rate it a 4 but I would definitely give Aundrea a 4 star but based on the business itself, I would have to say it's a 3.5 for me. read more

Came here mainly because I'm lazy and its close/cheap. But I soon learned you get what you paid for. I've gotten 4 haircuts here and only 1 of them was what I would consider a "good cut". The rest were terrible. Honestly, I almost told the woman to just buzz it all off cause she screwed up so bad. Uneven blends and just overall bad. I was embarrassed after getting it cut and 3 weeks later it still looks bad. I will definitely go somewhere better next time and pay a little extra. Trust me, don't go here unless you want to look like a doofus. Luckily I already have a girlfriend and she's understanding. If not, I'd be more angry cause it'd limit my ability to pick up girls. I mean I had a very simple haircut, but if i needed an under 3 minute haircut, i could have gone to a salon/barbershop connected to a gas station. I have never had such a sour taste in my mouth after a haircut. It looks fine, didn't mess up, i mean i wouldn't know if the back looks good, because he didn't bother to show me.
