I'm so picky about my hair that, if I need them done and he's out of town or not available, I'll adjust my schedule as necessary. ... and, when people stop me to ask me who does my highlights (it happens a lot,) I direct them to The Lindsey Salon. But I always wonder if that's a good idea, because it may make it harder for me to get an appointment!

I had an appointment at Lindsey Salon on May 13th with Ella for babylights, but she recommended…read moreface-framing highlights instead, which I agreed to. I was in a rush that day, so I only briefly saw the front pieces after a quick blow-dry before leaving. Once I got home and styled my hair, I noticed the highlights were very uneven, with one side noticeably lighter than the other. I reached out to have it corrected, but the available times didn't work with my travel plans. I was later advised to request a refund (paid cash but couldn't go back to pick it up as I was already out of town), the front desk was kind and apologetic about the situation. I am disappointed with the final result, these are not blended the way I wanted. Just experience overall was bad. P.S. I've emailed them and haven't gotten a response back.

I was so excited to try this salon after reading all the positive reviews, but I left incredibly…read moredisappointed. I came in asking for a simple trim, about one inch off, and a very subtle face frame. I also made it clear multiple times that I did not want layers. Instead, I left with a head full of layers and what appears to be at least three inches cut off the back instead of the one inch I requested. During the haircut, I could tell it was heading in the direction I specifically asked to avoid, so I reiterated that I didn't want layers. Despite that, the haircut continued the same way. When I asked afterward why I had been given layers, I was initially told they weren't layers. Once I pointed them out bc they clearly were, I was told, "It looks better that way," and "It will grow out." I don't appreciate the attempt to gaslight me as if I can't see the cut and don't know how long my hair was. A stylist's personal preference should never override what a client explicitly requests. Hair takes months to grow back, and this isn't something that can simply be undone. Disappointed that the experience did not live up to the online reputation. This seems to be such a common issue. Why?!
