Came here today and there was a sushi chef that wasn't the usual tall lanky sushi dude. I got 3 different rolls and wow, the smell and over all appearance of the quality of the fish was clearly not good, not fresh, not properly stored, not maintained cold. When I looked at the albacore it was cracked, tasted very fishy and was gray like. I immediately discarded it because of the appearance. I want to say I eat here every other week at minimum! I'm obsessed with their deep fried jalapeño roll, which is exactly what it sounds like (delicious). The Okinawa roll is also amazing and everything always tastes fresh. Was disappointed with this restart. I don't eat fish and I love vegetable sushi so I decided to try this place. I got the veggie roll with no lettuce and it was good. They didn't have a shrimp sauce or yum yum sauce which I usually prefer. I ordered a chicken teriyaki kids meal with fried rice. The chicken wasn't my favorite thing. I couldn't even eat it. The sauce came on the side which is nice so you can add it on how you like. The rice was very bland.
