Choosing a dog walking person/company is never easy. The prospect of handing over your animal, let alone your keys, is certainly a daunting one. However, that's where Super Dog excelled right off the bat. Actually, I was lucky, because it was a random stop to inquire with one of the walkers (Justin) that gave me the instant sense that I found the people to help me with scheduled walks for my pup. Now, over a year later, my attitude hasn't changed. With Super Dog, you can expect people that care about your dog, and care about your satisfaction. Besides the fact that my pup loves those that have taken care of her, communication is key, and after every walk you will receive a note telling you who the dog was with, what "business" they took care of, and if need be, any other issues that were encountered or need addressing. Or, the note just might offer that it was a great walk on a sunny day! Additionally, Dana, Justin, and Patrick (those that have taken care of my pup) are more than happy to leave the pup in as good a condition to head back to the couch as when they took her out (meaning -- as thorough a towel dry as need be...wiping of paws, etc.). In fact, when I had previously forgotten to put towels out on a wet day, it was no problem to direct Justin to where they were so that the pup, and the house were left in good condition. Client satisfaction, without skipping a beat. My experience with scheduling has been nothing short of easy, and they will do their best to be as close as possible to a regular time within a 2 hour window (which, as we know, sometimes minutes matter). So, if you're looking for a dog walking company - two paws up for Super Dog! read more

Matt and Dana watched our boxer while we were out of town. He was sad to leave, they took great care of him, he's still depressed not to be there. Honestly, they did a killer job, would highly recommend them, they care for the dogs and treat them like they are their own. read more

I've been getting away with roommates and close friends to take care of my now 1 year-old large breed mutt for short trips away, to be honest I've rarely left her for more than one night. So when I couldn't find anyone to stay with the big monster in my un-airconditioned apartment over a holiday weekend, I called Dana & Matt as referred by the dog sitter of a friend who was already booked for the weekend. They put my worries at ease right away! Any-who- Dana & Matt are great! My big mutt Stella stayed in their apartment with their sweet dog an another boarder, they don't take more than a few boarders at a time since the apartment is open for the dogs to roam. She got lots of walks and treats and play time with the other dogs. We came by for a visit a few days before I would drop her off and she warmed up to the place quickly. They even fed her the schedule of raw patties and kibble I have her on. They are very, VERY, reasonably priced, and only charge per night without pickup or drop off times, so I dropped her off before heading into work so I could be on my way after work, and picked her up in the evening after returning without having to wait until the morning, or pay any extra. I highly recommend their sitting services! read more

We contacted Matt and Dana around the new year in a bit of a bind looking for a new dog walker. Our Italian Greyhound is a nervous and timid girl, which makes strangers coming in the house to take her for a walk a bit of a challenge. From the beginning, Super Dog Walking has been exactly that! Dana and Matt came over for a long consultation. They learned everything they could about our girl and we made a plan for getting her used to them. They are always incredibly patient, attentive, and flexible. I knew we had the right match when I saw how gentle Dana was on the first day and Stella relaxed on her lap enjoying the petting. The rates are incredible and scheduling is a breeze. We really enjoy the notes that let us know what kind of day Stella had and it feels so great knowing that she is in such great hands while we are at work. read more

Love everything about this company and so does my wife....and of course our dog ivy does too. Our dog can be really shy, but We know she is always in good hands with Dana or Justin and its obvious that they really care about the dogs they walk. I can honestly say that the great affection that Justin has shown our dog has helped mold her into the dog she is today. read more

I am so happy I found Dana & Justin to walk our new pup Charlie. We got him at PAWS on a Sunday and needed someone to walk him starting Wednesday for a couple weeks until my husband was done with school for the summer. Dana called me back within an hour of my email and said she'd be happy to accommodate! I haven't met Justin, but I know he walked Charlie with a couple other dogs and always left a note for us to come home to. As a new pet owner, it put me at ease going to work and knowing he'd be there to give my pup a nice long walk while I'm away. I will definitely be calling them for more walks and boarding in the future! read more

Dana and crew are great! As a recent referral to Super Dog Walking, I would consider myself a very satisfied customer. They are extremely flexible and always responsive. They also leave a personal note about how each dog walk went! We're happy, my dog's happy, so give them a shot! $14 bucks a walk is a pretty good deal! read more

We have used various services over the last two decades and none of them compare to Super Dog Walking. They are of course dependable and are great with communication. But what makes them phenomenal, and separates them from the competition -- is that they are a truly dedicated and loving team! Our dog is treated like he is their beloved companion. Also, the best picture ever taken of our dog was taken by one of their walkers! He has never looked so happy! read more

I have been meaning to write a review for a while. I finally need to write one after the last walk. They have been walking Hudson for almost a year.. I have the most crazy walking schedule and it never seems to be a problem. Anyways,Back way I am finally writing a review. Poor Hudson had a ummm a big number two accident in the house and on the couch. (Gross I know) .. Dana walked Hudson and then cleaned up the mess in the house. I know that goes way above the call of duty. She also left a long note describing the ordeal. Thanks Dana! ..besides that the are on time, reliable and flexible. The are great neighborhood walking service ..they are extremely easy to communicate changes in walking schedule. I just text them... read more

I have been using Super Dog Walking for over 3 years now and love the service. Dana, the owner, is awesome and always makes sure to communicate anything necessary. I have moved 3 times, and she has been able to accommodate me at every location. I have had a few different walkers and loved every one. Dana is very selective with who she hires to make sure your pups are in the best hands. Prices are about $15/ 30 min walk which is the typical price for Chicago. read more

I read the negative review about the owner of Super Dog Walking being "inflexible" and I felt obligated to write this review. Not only are Matt and Dana super sweet people, I have found them to be extremely flexible. In fact, I've actually been locked out of my apartment on more than one occasion and Matt drove over with our spare key to let me in. Additionally, I can't tell you how many times myself or my wife had to cancel our walk last minute and never once was it an issue. Most importantly though, the walker who walks our dog (Justin) is extremely trustworthy and reliable. Matt, Dana and Justin are genuine people who love dogs. I would recommend this company to anyone and am shocked that there is one bad review on Yelp. The last thing I want to say is that, after doing some extensive research, you will be hard pressed to find a more affordable dog walking service. read more

Matt and Dana have been walking and dogsitting our boston terrier Danny for two years now. At first, I was nervous to invite a complete stranger into my home, but upon meeting Matt the first time, I knew I could trust him completely. Matt and Dana are now part of the family, and while we dont really need a daily walk anymore, Danny insists on seeing them regularly. I couldnt imagine finding a nicer couple to take care of our first born. :) read more

Super Dog Walking is the best dog walking service! I actually found them via Yelp, and after looking at several other sites and reviews, I knew I wanted to call them first. Matt and Dana came by that evening, met my english bulldog, Alfred (pictured with Dana right now!!!), and I felt completely comfortable handing over my house keys and letting them walk my boy. You can tell they love dogs, and they were very patient with Alfred, who was/is (not so much after hanging out with Dana) a jumper, and hyper/aggressive around other dogs. Alfred even ripped Dana's winter jacket the evening they met, and it was no big deal to her, she was very sweet about it. Over the two years Super Dog Walking has been walking Alfred (5 days a week), they have left a note every day, not just with what he did, but how he was acting, if he didn't seem himself, who he met along the way, etc. And, on days when Alfred didn't feel like walking after doing his business, Dana would play with him in the backyard, or have some TLC/cuddle time on the couch with my sweetie. She even wiped his ears when she noticed they were looking a little dirty! And, she got Alfred to walk with another dog, upon my request, since I wanted him to start socializing more - it worked out great! Super Dog Walking communicates really well about vacation time (they take hardly any), if another dog walker is filling in that day, and billing. Their fees are very reasonable, much more affordable than other dog walking services I've seen. So, between the love and exercise I know my dog gets when I'm not home, the genuine caring for dogs their walkers have, and the value of their service, I would highly recommend Super Dog Walking to anyone with any dog! read more

Love, love, love, love, love these amazing people! I am new to Chicago and I have to travel a lot for work- oh, and my travel plans change just like the weather. Dana aims to be flexible- A+ on this. I text her sometimes daily to add/ decline a walk. Justin is Mara's "walkies" boyfriend and he's so wonderful to her and to me. She had a bout of being ill and he was so helpful with the situation. My fur baby is also high energy and she likes to box. She's fabulous with other pups when she's with Justin and she's wayyyy better on a leash these days after having her afternoon walks with a better pack leader than I. If she was obnoxious, they would accommodate walking her on her own. They're here to help and you can trust that they're professional and will communicate with you always. Mara has more friends in Chicago than I do. My boxer, Mara, is my soul mate and the people involved with her health, happiness, and care are so important and I couldn't trust a better team with this emotional responsibility than Dana's. We've relied on Dana for daily walks, overnights, and a weekend stay at our place (thanks Mike) and I know Mara's always having a good time with her other family members. If you need help with taking care of your furry kids, proceed to contact Dana with confidence. read more

Love Dana and the crew. We were recommended to them after our long time walker moved. Dana was great when she first came and met our dog Gus. Asked tons of questions to be clear on everything. I appreciate the ease of scheduling and communication with her. The notes they leave are always fun to come home to. And the holiday card and treats were a nice surprise! Thanks for everything you do, keep up the great work. read more

Dana & Justin walk my English bully hueby:) he loves them, they are extremely reliable & dependable. Very thoughtful & really love dogs:)

Super Dog Walking is amazing. They have been taking care of our two small dogs since we moved to Chicago over four years ago. They are very reliable and trustworthy and really do love animals. The owner, Dana, is always available if you have questions or want to adjust your schedule. Her right hand man, Justin, is awesome and the other dog walkers are always great as well. We highly recommend Super Dog Walking. read more

Dana, Mike and Justin have been a pleasure to work with over the last few years. Between weekday walks and lots of overnight stays, I have peace of mind that my pup is safe and well taken care of while I'm away from home. Always great communication from Dana and team, they even helped when I was locked out of my house one night. Thank you Super Dog Walking team! read more

Dana and Matt have been walking my dog, Tyler, for almost a year now. They have never missed a day. Ty has special needs, one of which he cannot see! They have to carry him up and down the stairs and guide him on his walks and seem to do it without any issues. They leave notes and let me know how he did for the day. If there are any concerns they call or text me so I'm always in the loop. They do some weekends as well, which is helpful. I can honestly say they are very trustworthy and reliable. I moved to the city about 8 months ago and I'm very happy with the service we have received so far! Thank you Super Dog Walking!! read more

We have worked with Dana and her team for almost 7 years now. Our dog, Norman, gets regular walks and frequently boards with Dana. We joke that he likes Dana, Heidi and Wade more than us! Not only are they extremely professional, responsive and friendly, but you can tell that they actually enjoy what they do and truly care for the dogs. I'm definitely a nervous dog mom, but I have complete trust and peace of mind when Norman is in their hands. We even get fun pics of Norman on his walks or when he's spending the night at Dana's. If you need a dog walker, daycare or boarding, you won't be disappointed with Super Dog Walking! read more

I moved to Chicago about eight months ago for work. Because of my long work days, I quickly realized that I needed a reliable dog walking service. I found Super Dog Walking with a Google search. Dana's history as a social worker is indicative of her caring nature and ability to multi-task. She has also done a great job of hiring and maintaining employees. My pups love the Justin's and Dana, and the LOVE their walks. I was really worried about who they would adjust to the city, but with the help of Super Dog Walking, they have smoothly made the transition, and I am able to work long hours, knowing that they will be walked by people whom love the little guys as much as I do. read more

This review is overdue, as I based my decision on hiring a dog walker based on Yelp reviews. Dana and her team are professional, consistent, and reliable. On one occasion, Dana was accidentally locked out of our gate (through no fault of her own). She contacted me, then my wife, and informed us of the situation. She took it upon herself to look after my dog throughout the day until we could meet her. We really appreciate that Super Dog Walking takes a personal interest in the welfare of our pet, and I would recommend this service to anyone who needs it. read more

Dana and her team are great! I have been using Super Dog walking for walks, daycare, and boarding for 2 years with no issue. My dog is quite shy and reserved but absolutely loves her walker Hayden along with both Dana and Wade, whom oversee daycare and boarding. The prices are the best I was able to find for a 30 minute walk. Also love that daycare never has more than 7-8 dogs, and its at Dana's house so they have access to a yard as well, which both I and my pup prefer over other daycares with 20 dogs running wild in a large open room indoors. Finally, even though I am moving outside of their service area for walks, they are still willing to pick my dog up for daycare still which is great! read more

Matt and Dana have been walking my Shepard mix for over a year now. They do a great job and a very accommodating. I have called them at the last minute on weekends and holidays and they have always been able to help me out. On top of their great service they are very affordable. I highly recommend their services. read more

Dana and Patrick are so awesome! It is super easy to make schedule changes. Dana even accommodated a change in location so my puppy didn't have to miss out on his daily walks! Patrick has been incredibly patient and nice about all of my little requests. You can't go wrong with Super Dog Walking! read more

We used Super Dog Walking to walk our two dogs for the last year that we lived in Wicker Park. Libby & Lacey loved them and I was very happy with the care they received. We also used them for overnight care a few times, even one time for 5 nights in a row. This was the first time our pups had been left so long with someone other than family. I was very confident they were in goods hands and they did not seem stressed out at all when they returned home. We've recently moved out of the area and both myself and our dogs will miss Super Dog Walking! They are great. read more

Matt and Dana have been walking our 14 week old puppy, Melvin, since the week we brought him home. They take such wonderful care of him --- you can see how happy he is to see them when they show up! They are priced reasonably and worked with us to come up with schedule that best met our dogs needs. We also use their in home puppy care services a few times a week. Our puppy always comes home wiped out from a day of good play and fun. I would highly recommend these guys - they are the best!!! read more

This is the worst dog walking experience I have ever had. The owner, Matt, is completely inflexible, unprofessional and rude. He broke our lock and did not offer to pay for it and did not take responsibility. When I tried to contact him he was unresponsive. We loved our actual dogwalker but the owner is the most difficult person I have dealt with since moving to Chicago. I did not get the first week free. Do not use this company. I have had 2 other great dogwalkers who are friendly and flexible with my schedule. Seriously, move on if you are considering this company for your dogwalking. read more

We have been with Dana for five years. Dana and her team are reliable, flexible, and passionate about our pups. Our dog, Lucy, gets walked everyday by Mike and stays with Dana when we are away. Lucy comes home tuckered and happy after every walk. Dana evens sends sweet treats for your pup's birthday. You will not find a more caring and trustworthy dog service in Chicago. read more

I was referred to Dana and the team about 6 years ago. From the beginning, they have been amazing. They have grown quite a bit over the years, and you would think that service may suffer. Nope! They have gotten even better! As with any dog, mine has had some funny situations over the years. She has only had 2-3 different walkers over the years, and each has taken such great care of her. They have taken her on extra long walks just because they had the time. They have taken care of her when she has been unexpectedly sick. They have helped me with last second changes of schedule. I couldn't ask for any more. Dana has made it so easy to schedule walks and weekend stays. She is so responsive to emails and texts that I dont know when she rests. She has bent over backwards to adjust to my schedule, and always does it so cheerfully. They are worth every penny for the peace of mind they provide. Simply the best! read more

Dana and Jake have been waking our dog for several months and we have been SO impressed with the service. We love the detailed and funny notes about our dog's walks with her "friends"! They have also been tremendously flexible with our requests, as we have inconsistent travel schedules that change weekly. They were even able to scramble to walk our pup unexpectedly when I booked the wrong dates. We would happily recommend them to any other dog owner! read more

As I get ready to move out of state, I had to leave a review for Dana and company. They have been our dog walkers for 4 years now and we could not have asked for better service. If you need consistent, trustworthy, affordable, and friendly walkers, this is your place. We have had Dana, Estefan, and Pedro walk our Chiko and have no complaints. They leave notes on the walk that are really useful. Plus, with no prompting, they have cleaned up trash when Chiko got into it. read more

I have been using super dog walking since I got my dog Lucy 2.5 years ago. They have been great but it finally occurred to me after yet another fabulous experience last night, that I should write a review. We were travelling over the weekend and our flight was delayed. We were supposed to be back to get her by 700PM but after delays we weren't going to arrive until 10PM. Dana was great and simply dropped our dog off for us at home. Lucy loves staying there and they make it so easy. No kennel would allow for this amount of flexibility! Lucy loves the walks and they have been so flexible with adding a last minute evening walk if something comes up for work etc. We had a lot of random obligations last summer (planning a wedding) and they helped us out on several occasions with weekend or evening walks. Super dog walking makes it so much easier for two busy professionals with hectic schedules to have a dog and we really appreciate everything they do! read more
