Absolutely love this dog daycare! The outdoor spaces are amazing, and the daily walks and enrichment activities keep our golden retriever, Harry, happy and engaged. The team is incredibly loving--when Harry sees the "crusin bus" pull up, he does a full-on happy dance! Their pick-up and drop-off service is so convenient, and they're wonderfully flexible and kind. Paul and Pam are the absolute best! We were lucky enough to send our pup Ozzy to daycare with them for a few years. Paul always made pick up and drop off so easy and Ozzy would be so excited to hear Paul at the door. We loved being able to send Oz for daycare and boarding and knew it'd be near impossible to find anyone like them when we moved out of state. Paul and Pam treat the pups like their own (ex: Pam was an angel and took Ozzy to the vet for an allergy ear infection he had before we dropped him off to be boarded for a week - it wasn't a quick visit and she was super patient and helpful in keeping us in the loop). I can't say enough great things about Cruisin Canines! Pam, Paul and their staff are amazing. They're super responsible and knowledgeable, and have taken fantastic care of our dogs. One of our dogs is a little on the anxious side, but she's really come out of her shell at day care. Paul sends us pics of her playing, which is wonderful to see. Igor is awesome. You may not snag him as your walker, but if his character and work ethic is the bar to which the other Cruisin' Canines folks are held to, you'll be in for a treat. Igor has been walking our dog, Tillie for a few months off and on. Never an incident, so I always assume "no news is good news." (though of course they leave notes after each walk). Last Friday I arrived home from the airport a bit before Igor (we had booked a walk just in case I was delayed) and I've never seen Tillie so excited to go on a walk with someone other than us. Before he even unlocked the door she had springboard launched herself from the bed (her usual perch) barreled down two flights of stairs and was waiting for him anxiously as he got her things together. I've literally (in the past) had calls from dog walkers that she was nowhere to be found, hiding from them, not wanting to go out. Igor has the magic touch...she loves him! He's just all around a really nice guy, too. Made some pleasant chit chat with me, inquired about treats for her (I needed to buy some!) and doted on my dog. I'm sure he does this with all his dog friends on the route, but I really appreciated knowing she was in good hands. He also has a very calm and commanding energy, if I didn't know better...perhaps he is Cesar Milan's brother or cousin? He might be. He's that great. They are also super easy to schedule via email (Christy is also lovely), great with the communication (both for billing - monthly, walker communication, issues with keys, etc). They are very on top of it, as you want anyone that will be handling your pups or kitties to be. Zero complaints. My only regret is that we finally found a reliable and caring walking service that we love and now we're moving away! Actually, it is Crusin' Canines. Technically not in Logan, they will walk your Logan-livin' pooch. The Gordons really do have it together. Every day someone comes by the house to walk my dog -- and not once have they missed an appointment. They are reasonably priced and have walkers in a number of neighborhoods around town. After MUCH research, we decided on Cruisin' Canines to walk our brand spankin' new pup back in July 08, and they've been walking him ever since. We have an English Bulldog, and he couldn't do the stairs when we first brought him home at 14 weeks. Our walker, Russell, carried him up and down 3 flights of stairs until he was almost 40 lbs.! (without charging us an additional fee - awesome) He also left us informative and hilarious messages each day. They are extremely accommodating with schedule changes - if you need to cancel, just notify them by 9:30am. We have also added a walk if we needed to be late at work, and it was no problem. Not only do they treat the people they hire very well, they care so much about what they do and are not seedy weirdos commonly seen in the dog walking industry. They have respect for the dog, the owners, the owner's home and the walker. It is difficult to find another place that cares about everyone in this way. We got our puppy about a month and a half ago. He is my first dog and my boyfriend's first dog he has been 100% responsible for. Needless to say, we were kind of freaks about researching places, people and things to do for our baby. I found that Cruisin Canines reviews were awesome and they had been in business forever, right here in our area, so we decide to try them out. I have been nothing but impressed with them. FIrst, their owners are amazing. Pam herself came to my house to meet the dog, myself and see our routine and what we wanted to have them do with the pup. She sat with me for an hour and chatted not only about just the walking, but about the breed, training, puppy behavior etc... It was so helpful and fun to talk to her. Second, they are incredibly responsive and accommodating. Any changes for walks, additions etc... they will take care of and make sure you know it's all set. I love this. LOVE LOVE LOVE Cruisin' Canines :) Tim has been walking my pup for the past year and a half and is always very accommodating to my sporadic schedule (i.e. email at 9 AM asking someone to come by 11), he always leaves notes about how she was on her walks, #1/#2, occasionally she would go on a chewing spree and he kindly picked up the pieces of typically a book or shoe so she wouldn't continue to chew it and not to mention was completely trustworthy. Before I was able to pick up my AC Window Unit the first summer I had my dog and it got really hot, they let me bring her over to their house to watch my dog for the day despite it not being a service offered. My boyfriend and I have 4 dogs. We don't get out much because well...duh. But whenever we do, we know we can always count on CC to take care of the kids. Joey, our new walker, initially had a hard time with one of the kids. He gained his trust, and now I hear they're quite good buddies. A few times, we've needed someone to feed and walk the dogs on a weekend evening so we can actually live our lives. They always leave notes on how they did, and last time we were told that our girl, Matilda, didn't want to eat so the walker actually sat down and hand fed her for us. These guys are amazing -- and I've been a satisfied customer for 1.5 years now. I have a very ... ahem ... high maintenance dog, and their walkers have been patient and caring beyond belief. One example -- a new person was going to cover for me when I had to work last weekend, and he actually came over to meet me and have me introduce him to my dog so that she wouldn't be too upset and suspicious of him when he came to walk her on the weekend. I have a 2 year old Boxer that I don't trust with just anyone. After recognizing a need to switch dog walkers, I decided to meet with Pam and Kraig (our walker) so they could meet Chuck. I was impressed at the fact that they both came out to my house at a time that worked for me (7:00 at night!) to meet us. There was no sales pitch, there was no obligation. They simply came to see if my dog liked them (he did!) Since switching to Crusin' Canines, they have done nothing but exceed my expectations. I get a detailed note every day from our walker, am notified in advance if our walker needs a day off, and can tell that Chuck got a good walk and lots of play time because sometimes when I get home from work, he refuses to meet me at the door to greet me because he is still tired from his afternoon activities. I'm moving out of the city and I think one of the things I'm going to miss the most is Cruisin' Canines. Tricia was my adoption counselor when I fostered and fell in love with my first dog, Maggie, and she arranged for Vicky to be our walker. Fast forward just a few months, Maggie and I discussed it and we decided she needed a friend so I adopted a little brother for her, Leo. Leo was just 6 months old though and little did I know I was about to unleash puppy chaos in my typically calm and quiet house. Pam came to our home to talk us through everything, meet our dog Scruffster and helped ease our concerns. Scruff can be a challenge to get moving and get outside, but our walker Kyle is extremely patient with her. Kyle is completely reliable and we never worry about leaving Scruff in his care. Cruisin Canines has been great to our dog! We had some bad experiences with a prior service when we lived in DC (One walker was not actually taking her out, just parking her car, staying 5 minutes and leaving - our condo management ratted them out to us!) Since then, our pup has taken a while to warm up to new walkers and get into a routine. But she adores all the walkers she has had from CC. (She has one regular walker, and occasional substitutes.) I have been present when a substitute walker has shown up for the first time - her demeanor put our dog right at ease. The Gordons obviously run their business with love for the animals.
