Another great Chicago Pet Sitters experience! Both Cathy and Kellyn went all out to make our cat Jinx feel loved an secure while we were away. They both sent us such cute photos to show us that Jinx was having the time of her life, and probably will be disappointed that we don't lavish her with that so much attention on a regular basis. read more

We just had our first Chicago Pet Sitters experience and we are beyond thrilled with their service and relieved that we found a pet sitting company as detail oriented, friendly, and reliable as they are. We went on a long weekend and Rachel came 3 days in a row to watch our cats. Here's what I loved: An app notification when they arrived The ability to chat with the sitter separately from the admin team A very detailed report of the visit Tons of pictures - not just of the cats but of their water bowls, food bows, and litter box Rachel went above and beyond by bringing some packages up to our apartment - we live in a 4th floor walk-up so that was totally appreciated I have pretty bad anxiety so travel has always been tough because I worry about everything going wrong while I'm gone but that is all out the window because now we've found Chicago Pet Sitters. Not sure how we've survived without them before. A+. 5 stars. 100% recommend. read more

Chicago Pet Sitters - Detailed report of the last visit. - Dog Walkers Near Me

Chicago Pet Sitters is awesome! I can't recommend their catsitting service enough. I always appreciate the very thorough report they send with photos every time one of the crew comes to check in on my cat. Most recently, Kellyn L and Carolyn D were doing the visits and they were great. read more

We have been clients of Chicago Pet Sitters for 3 years now. We moved to a new home recently and transitioned to a new dog walker for our Corgi Leia. We have always had amazing dog walkers and I have written multiple positive reviews. Kellyn, Leia's current walker, is so amazing too ! I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She does not just take Leia on daily walks, she takes her on adventures!Whether it's to the fire station, to visit other doggie friends, or to make a new friend who happens to be walking by, Leia is in such good hands with Kellyn. Our son even calls her Leia's best friend! Kellyn even filled in and checked in on our 13 yo cat Archie while we were on vacation recently! She does it all!! Many thank to Kellyn and the Chicago Pet Sitters Team for taking such good care of our girl, Leia and kitty, Archie. read more

They've been watching my cat and turtle for years and Ive never felt more comfortable leaving them. It's always hard to leave your pets, but everyone here is not only so well trained and reliable, but you can tell they truly love the animals they visit. Could not recommend this service enough! And while all the sitters are great, I want to give a special shoutout to Gimo, Jay, Dina and Steve! read more

Chicago Pet Sitters are amazing!! I can't say enough great things about them. They are very thorough and give great updates on my cat. I get very anxious leaving my cat, she's a little high maintenance but Chicago Pet Sitters didn't make me feel embarrassed at all about my silly requests for my cat. Molly and Dan are both amazing with communication. I've had Cathy check on our cat 5 times and she's the best, sends so many videos and pictures. Recently we had a new person check on our cat, Rachel and she also did an amazing job. We just moved to the suburbs, we can't use Chicago pet sitters anymore and I'm so bummed about this but I would recommend them to everyone! Your team is the best! Thanks for everything :) read more

This service is amazing! They have taken care of our very shy cats for years. This time, they couldn't spot one in any of his usual hiding places but set up a camera in the kitchen to make he was coming out to eat. Once we saw him, we stopped worrying. Gimo and Jay, you both are awesome. I can't thank you enough. read more

Chicago Pet Sitters are amazing! Gimo has been our go to and our pets Love Gimo! We have a full house with Cats, Fish and backyard chickens! read more

I'm a very anxious person and the worst part about traveling is leaving the cats at home, and giving keys to strangers - but Chicago Pet Sitters does an amazing job with communication and updates during their visits. The cats are always playful, and you can tell that the staff genuinely loves working with animals and taking care of your worries. Rachel P was our last cat sitter and she gave us very detailed updates with adorable photos. We have been using them for over 2 years and if you are considering a service to use - look no further! read more

Chicago Pet Sitters is a mainstay of every vacation we take. They are incredibly reliable, caring, and consistent. Steve in particular went above and beyond with our two cats--making sure to give them each the attention they needed while taking care of the various messes they made along the way. We can't recommend them highly enough! read more

CPS is, hands-down, the best pet-sitting company in the Chicago area. They are incredibly attentive, responsive, and they take amazing care of my cats when I'm out of town. My creatures are needy, and I'm so so thankful that there's a company that I can rely on to provide them with everything they need and more while I'm out of town. I've also heard their dog-walkers are amazing - they're everything you need when it comes to pet care! read more

We couldn't be happier with Chicago Pet Sitters. They are reliable, flexible, and the app/website is super easy to use and convenient. Most importantly we love the dog walkers! Our primary walker Gimo goes above and beyond with our (high maintenance) dog - taking into account some of our training goals and is creative with new strategies to work around his quirks. It is clear how much they care and our dog feels the same. We are lucky to have Gimo and would highly recommend Chicago Pet Sitters!! read more

Chicago pet sitters are always so accommodating for my schedule! John and Aaron are great and always send the best updates for potty visits with my puppy Winnie. It's nice to know my pup is being taken care of so well while I'm at work! read more

We were nervous hiring sitters for our elderly cat who needs regular medication. But we were so impressed with Tiffany K. and Josiah L. who came from Chicago Pet Sitters! They took great care of our cat. They also wrote long notes and took photos every time they visited, which was lovely to get while travelling. They took care of everything we would do while at home- they even cleaned up the cat litter and threw it away outside the apartment, so when we came home there wasn't a smelly trash can! They brought in packages from the mail room and even offered to water our plants too! This is a somewhat an expensive option, but these folks were absolutely worth the cost. We will be using this service for any trips we take in the future. read more

This company has employees who will take care of your pet, and go the extra mile. I had to leave my house with urgency, leaving the house not prepared to be gone for a long time. My pet sitters, Rin and John, were so excellent. They both stepped up to assist in extraordinary ways, making my time away more easy! I would recommend this service to anyone looking for pet care on the north side of Chicago. read more

We adore Forest. Entire experience with Chicago Pet Sitters has been great, but Forest and all the walkers have been the best part. Everyone is so kind and thoughtful and you can genuinely feel their love for the dogs. read more

I am so glad I found Chicago Pet Sitters! Their sitters are so friendly and reliable, and I always know that my cat is in good hands with them. They have a great app where the sitter provides regular detailed updates of their visits with my cat, which is so comforting. Additionally, Chicago Pet Sitters' customer service is top notch. I recently went on a trip where my flight home was delayed and I was going to get home a day later than planned, and they able to accommodate my request on short notice to have a Sitter check in on my cat. Their prompt customer service was such a relief during a stressful day of traveling. read more

They weren't able to help us with our temporary pet sitting needs while in town. But they did answer the phone and were very kind and gave us some good suggestions. Thank you! read more

I have been using Chicago Pet Sitters for over a year now. My cat is extremely shy and they are always so gentle with her - especially Kyle J! They also provide write-ups and photos of the visit promptly which is appreciated. read more

I've been using Chicago Pet Sitters for 2 years now and have never had a negative experience - they have always been accommodating, helpful, and thorough. My sitter, Gimo, was wonderful and went above and beyond for my cats during my most recent time away - they allowed my younger cat to climb on their back and shoulders and cleaned up a mess that my other cat unfortunately left in the bathtub. I highly recommend CPS - there is not another service that I trust more! read more

Brigitte and Forest did a wonderful job of taking care of my salty old cat. Very communicative and reliable. Thanks so much!!!

I recently adopted a kitten, Oswald. Chicago Pet Sitters did an absolutely amazing job caring for my little furball while I was away! They sent lots of cute pictures of his play time and cuddles, as well as photos of the litter and food each day. I had such peace of mind while I was away from my kitten for the first time, and returned to a happy kitty! read more

I adopted Ava from Paws in September 2018 and have been using Chicago Pet Sitters ever since. Dana and Kyle came to my home to meet Ava and go over their policies, procedures and to set expectations. It was obvious from this first meeting that they would be going above and beyond to take care of Ava when I was away and could not. Kyle has been walking Ava ever since and I could not be happier. One special touch that Chicago Pet Sitters includes is an email report after each visit, including notes about the visit, notes about whether Ava went #1 or #2 so I can track her bathroom routine throughout the day and they include pictures of Ava either out on the walk or when they get back inside. The reports are helpful but it is also a nice way to see and engage with Ava and Kyle while I am away at work. Dana and the others running the company have been great as well. They helped connect me with a dog trainer. They gave me excellent recommendations for the proper snow shoes for a dog Ava's size and weight. They connected me with a great dog groomer near my home. They are a bountiful resource of information. They clearly love dogs and take their jobs very seriously. I cannot recommend this company enough! read more

Meow! I used Google to find a reliable pet sitter for my cat, Lennon, while I did some traveling for a few days. I shot off some info about Lennon from their website, including dates I'd be gone, and within a day I heard back from Kristin (Manager) who arranged with me (around my busy schedule) a meet & greet. From my first interaction with Kristin, I was hooked. She was accommodating, sweet, kind to Lennon, and really responsive. Everything she'd promised in our meeting (i.e. following up with me on pricing, the name of my sitter, and so on) she did - and in a timely manner. DAVE - Kristin matched us with Dave and what a great match she made!! He really was such a nice guy and really took care of Lennon so well. He text me detailed messages every time he left my apartment of his time with Lennon and once even let me know there was a package for me downstairs in the lobby that he'd brought up for me and left on my desk - thanks, Dave!!! In addition, Dave left cute notes of his time with Lennon, what Lennon did (mostly eating a purring) and shared little things like when he could hear Lenny meowing when he was getting off the elevator from all the way down the hall! I will be accepting a new job soon that is going to have me out of state for nearly 2 weeks a month. There's no one I would trust more with Lennon (and keys to my apartment, for that matter) than I do Chicago Pet Sitters, and Dave!! read more

Chicago Pet Sitters - Lennon, surfin' the web. (Pet sitter: Dave) - Dog Walkers Near Me

I'm writing a 2nd review after my 4th time using this agency. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are. Their sitters are super diligent with their notes and photos and following your less in taking care of your pets. They also use their own knowledge and experience to do things you might not have thought of. On our recent trip away, the sitter mentioned the cats were a bit feisty when she arrived (which isn't normal for them) and then she went into detail about what she did to help them settle down and eventually adjust to her and play around. This could've easily been left out, we'd never know, but she was thorough enough to include this so we were in the loop. Anytime we're away we await the daily update from the app so we can see our fur-balls looking happy and well cared for while we're away. The notes and photos are both comical and sweet. Thank you to the whole crew!!! read more

I work at One Tail at a Time which operates out of the same building as Chicago Pet Sitters, so I've known about the business & how wonderful Dana and the whole crew is for awhile! In November, when I decided it was time my dog needed some afternoon walks, I inquired and I'm so glad I did! I got to meet my walkers, Rene and Derek, beforehand and give them the details about my sometimes stubborn-on-the-leash dog and felt confident that my dog would be in good hands. After each walk, I get an email with a small paragraph about the walk and a few pictures - it's an email I always get excited about opening :) I 100% trust CPS and recommend them to OTAT adopters all the time. They're affordable, provide trustworthy walkers, and are always reliable. read more

We absolutely love Chicago Pet Sitters. We have had Rachel taking care of our dog for close to a year now, and not only does our dog enjoy her time with her, but we have also come to know her and Chicago Pet Sitters overall as reliable, trustworthy and prompt. Chicago Pet Sitters came highly recommended to us from our prior dog walking service that did not have enough dogs in our neighborhood to continue our service, and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. Thanks to Dana and the whole team. read more

I cannot say enough great things about CPS! We've been using them for three years now, with walks being anywhere from 3-5 days a week. They're reliable and efficient with communication, not only about each visit, but also when notifying us about time-off our regular walker will be taking. This is important to us to know what to expect when someone different than usual enters our home and spends time with our pup. I receive an email update after each visit and best of all, at least one picture! Scheduling is easy with their online client portal and the billing receipts are always accurate and prompt. The management team is great, especially anytime I have a concern. They're responsive and let me know if they've noticed anything similar to what we've been experiencing. I recommend this company to everyone who asks! Keep up the great work! read more

Chicago Pet Sitters - Dog Walkers Near Me

We've been using Chicago Pet Sitters for 2 weeks now. We contacted them on a Thursday and we were able to get set up for M-F walks the following week. Chad, our walker, has been great! Our dog has really taken a shine to him. The couple days that Chad wasn't able to take her on a walk Chicago Pet Sitters sent out a replacement, Derek, who walked her. So far our experience has been really good. Our dog's had some tummy issues lately and we've been watching carefully what she's eating and they've been following along with her limited treats! We actually have a Furbo cam and can see her tail wagging once it's time for her walk with Chad! read more

CPS started walking my dog, Maggie, when she was a teeny 9 week old puppy nearly a year ago. I appreciated the complimentary meet & greet so Maggie & I could get to know her walker before services started. Maggie adores her walker, Gabriella. I can tell they have a special bond because she gets super excited when Gabriella arrives. The two of them are always smiling in my daily photo update (which I look forward to every afternoon). I always know that Maggie is in good hands -- for a daily walk or even for an overnight stay. CPS is a terrific service -- I highly recommend! read more

We love Chicago Pet Sitters! They are very responsive, reliable, and consistent. Elizabeth is always on time and very caring towards our dogs. We rescued our two huskies earlier this year, and they have some behavioral issues (as most rescue dogs do). Chicago Pet Sitters and Elizabeth have worked with us on these issues and have been so accommodating. We don't know what we would do without them! read more

I'm not a bit surprised to see all the wonderful reviews on this page. MY WIFE (in Borat voice) and I went to an out-of-town wedding over the weekend recently, and we hired Chicago Pet Sitters for three visits: two 25-minute visits and one 40-minute visit. We received regular updates, including photos and potty-break information, for each visit. We loved seeing pictures of little Max while we were gone. From the language of the updates and the look on his face in the photos, I felt very confident and ensured that he was in good hands. Scheduling is incredibly efficient and payment is easy and reasonable. Love this place. Can't wait to schedule another visit. Great work! read more

I have been using Chicago Pet Sitters for several years now, and it's always reassuring to know that my pets are so well taken care of - every single time! The entire team is amazing, their communication is A+, and they have always been so flexible and helpful. Highly highly recommend them! read more

Hands down the best pet sitting service I've ever used. Very thorough and responsive, we feel so comfortable leaving our cat in their care. All of the sitters we've worked with have been great, but Cathy's attention to detail and understanding of cats (our boi is a little prickly) is especially noteworthy. Marcus (the director of operations) has also been amazing- earlier this year he helped us set up some very last minute cat visits over a holiday weekend so I could attend my grandmother's memorial service and it made the whole situation much less stressful. read more

These guys are really the best. I've been using them for about 12 years now and I've only had stellar experiences with them. I've had a sick pet they hand fed and took to the vet for me while I was out of the country. They sent me videos of her progress as they eventually got her to eat some baby food. I've had my home broken into while away and stayed with my scared kitty until my home was secure. They've booked services for last minute emergencies and have always responded professionally. Chicago Pet Sitters just really care about animals and their customers. I highly recommend them and wouldn't leave my animals with anyone else! read more

I've been using Chicago Pet Sitters for more than three years to visit my two cats, and have had a consistently great experience, despite cycling through several different sitters. I always have peace of mind when I leave town by getting timely, detailed updates with many great photos (some of which remain among my favorite pictures of my cats). Chicago Pet Sitters gets all the details right. Their scheduling system is intuitive and they are very accommodating. When my locks had to be changed due to an eviction in the building, it was a simple process to pass along the new key. They are always responsive to email and take feedback seriously. Over the recent holidays, I was worried because I unexpectedly had several heavy packages delivered early while I was away. Without me asking, the sitter Tiffany brought them inside or moved them to be out of the way, going far beyond the agreed-upon service of bringing in the mail. This particular experience is representative of the excellent service I always enjoy from Chicago Pet Sitters. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Chicago Pet Sitters watching my two, very shy kitties while we were recently away on vacation. Gimo specifically was terrific; they spent a good amount of time with the cats every day, providing photos and a great report after each visit. It gave me a lot of comfort knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend! read more

Cathy is the best! She has cat-sat about 25 days for me and I trust her fully! You can tell she loves my fur-babies!

I have nothing but great things to say about Chicago Pet Sitters, completely positive experience overall - I was somewhat stressed about leaving my cat for the first time but they really made the process so easy and stress-free. Tiffany and Nathan were so awesome - lots of pictures, detailed reports and when I had to unexpectedly extend my trip by a couple days, they were able to send the same sitter with no interruption. Everyone there is so friendly and kind, I'm totally comfortable knowing that my cat is in good hands. I will definitely be using them again in the future and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone! read more

Our little bundle of fur, Oxford AKA Man Cat Diva, hates when we leave him alone for long stretches of time. He barely tolerates the work day, but when we stay away for an entire night, he protests rather vehemently, generally in the form of puke. Awesome. Therefore, any sort of longer than one night trip away from the little fellow necessitates someone to come in, feed him his chicken, give him a lap for sitting, and basically talk at him for a bit. We've been fortunate enough to have friends/family to take this to task, but a recent destination wedding on our schedule put us in a bind. Not to worry, Chicago Pet Sitters came to the rescue. Jared was prompt with email response (my favorite!), it was easy to set up a meet and greet for both him and Scott, Oxford's newest BFF, and before we knew it, my husband and I were getting sweet emails as we drank pina coladas by the ocean. NBD. Prices are comparable for the services, they will handle the special treats that your pet might require, and they generally spend 25 minutes or so with your cat. I like it. I didn't have any worries about leaving my buddy in the hands of Scott. Two enthusiastic thumbs up to Jared and Scott for letting us vacation in ease and for taking such good care of the Man Cat Diva. read more
