We love this service! We have used them a few times! Adamari, Taylor and Lucy watched our kitties during our last trip and did a great job! We loved getting the daily updates with the summary of the visits! Everything was clean once we returned and we could tell the kitties were well taken care of. My older cat suffers from anxiety and is prone to getting UTI's. Although Purr Inc doesn't have pet sitters in my area, I have to leave a review for the service they provided. They let me know they didn't service my area and said if I needed any assistance finding pet sitting services to let them know. I did. And they were so very helpful! They sent me a few websites of different options based on my location, and even though they admitted never using these services, they told me the ones they were familiar with and recommended I give them a call. 3 different vendors they provided! If a company gives this much customer support to someone they can't even get money from, imagine how they would be if you're a client. read more

We have been using Purr for five years. Every trip we go on and they watch the cats is perfect! There have only been 2-3 services over the years through our many moves that I was so impressed with the consistency and professionalism. This is one of the best! The sitters are thorough making sure food and water are good, and litter box is cleaned. They are great with our cats and even swept up a broken glass when a cat knocked it off a counter, and left a warning that they did the best they could, but make sure to take time ensuring the area is clear of glass particles. We are 2 cat dads in the Loop and Purr, Inc is our best friend. We used to have to scramble to get friends and even neighbors to check on them while we were gone, but there is more liability with those arrangement. Purr is geared mainly to cats, they are completely reliable, professional, and do a great job of keeping you updated with daily emails on the status of the cats and their environment. They will include checking mail and watering plants as well which is a bonus. All things considered this is an affordable option and great for cats, who are better off being home than in some shelter on extended trips. My husband and I have relied on Purr inc for the last three years. Rob and Jeff are reliable, truly love animals, and go above and beyond for their customers. Each time we have gone out of town, it gives us peace of mind knowing that our two cats will be in good hands. When you schedule a time for them to check in, you can choose from a few time options, and it is all for a very reasonable price. Either Rob, Jeff, or one of their sitters comes in, feeds your pets, cleans any litter box, and stays and plays with the pets. They then send an email with updates, pictures, and any questions or concerns. If you email or text them back, they are quick to respond. The most impressive part of purr inc is their devotion to their customers and the pets. For instance, I made a mistake when I scheduled for purr inc this week. I meant to click on the 30th, the 31st, and the 1st, but forgot to click on the middle date. When we did not receive an email from purr inc on the 31st, we were concerned and texted Rob. He replied back right away and we quickly realized there had been a miscommunication. Even though it was 10:30 on New Years Eve, Rob immediately offered to swing by our apartment and check in on our two cats. They were understanding, and insisted on helping without any additional pay, but simply to make sure our cats were doing well and that our minds were at ease. I have been using Purr Inc. ever since I moved to Chicago almost 2 years ago and I am beyond happy and satisfied with the service they've provided. Their website makes it easy for one to schedule appointments and make payments. Before the first scheduled visit, a Purr Inc team member will visit your home in order to meet your pet and document any significant information. After that, you are free to schedule as many visits as you like and you will also have the chance to update them if anything has changed since their last visit. For every visit, you will receive an "update" email with pictures, which I found extremely helpful. I have a security camera installed in my apartment, and I've seen how delicate the team members are when they enter your property and how careful and experienced they are with your pets. They walk around with the utmost care and respect for your stuff. I can never trust a pet sitting service as much as I trust Purr Inc! The sitters always show up when they are supposed to. They are respectful of my home and are courteous and take in packages of things get delivered when I'm away. They make sure to send pics and updates every time they come, which I find very reassuring when I'm not there. But Robert was extremely helpful and responsive, which made me calm down quick! I am absolutely insane when it comes to my fur babies--this was the first time I've had someone other than a close friend look after them! We used Chicago Cat Sitters over Christmas for our adult male cat, Bruce. We felt very comfortable with Robert when he came to out place to do the intake and meet the cat. His prices were more reasonable than many places offering the same services and his schedule was very flexible. I would have given 5 stars, except that he never mailed out keys back. (It is an option for them to retain the copy for future use). Luckily our building's locks got changed shortly after anyway and we were given new keys my management. I've relied on Robert and his team for a number of trips. They're fast, responsive, flexible, and reasonably priced. I have requested their services on short notice far too many times, but they've always been able to accommodate me (I don't suggest doing this, but stuff happens). Billing is quick and painless, thanks to checkfront. I get daily updates on my two cats. And if the team is ever unavailable (a week's vacation, for example), customers get a heads-up notice months in advance. Realize, I am not awarding five stars because everything is always perfect all of the time; that's insane to expect. I'm awarding Purr, Inc. five stars because they always try to do their best and always make it right if they ever fall short (which is not often). Didn't receive a daily update? Ask. Was there a cause for concern in a recent picture they sent? Ask. They always respond within 24 hours (but usually much sooner). I've used Chicago Cat Sitters for almost a year now. Sometimes I leave town for a few days, sometimes two weeks - and they do a spectacular job! I always find the Cats happy and healthy when I return. I choose to use as many visits as possible - so at least twice a day - cats may seem like loners but they love to be cared for! Wet food and clean water has always been administered, litter boxes cleaned, and this time was the best service I could have imagined - my cats were recovering from an awful surgery and also had e-collars, medications, and bathroom issues - and they were handled all with such grace it was though I had never left! Even when they had accidents, cleanup was carried out and communication was prompt and just absolutely the best possible scenario. I'd trust Rob and CCS with my cats for weeks if I ever had to leave them for so long, they simply are the best. The customer service is impeccable, it's so easy to book them (phone, email, online) and once you've setup for your first time, subsequent bookings are even easier. And the photos in the daily updates just warm you heart so much it makes you miss them - just not enough to leave your trip early. If you love your cats like family, they deserve cat sitting! Friends and family won't treat your catbabbies as well as Rob will. The cost is so low and the peace of mind is through the roof, there's really NO EXCUSE not to use them. The Purr team is the best!! Last year there was a bit of a nasty polar vortex while my boyfriend and I were both traveling for work. Our heater broke without us knowing since we were out of town and it got so cold that the water in our toilet bowl froze. He called me, which was the right decision. I haven't had anything but excellent experiences with Purr Inc. I moved to Chicago and got my cat about two years ago. I travel back and forth to the east coast a lot to visit family, and have always used Purr Inc. Robert is extremely thorough and accommodating. On several occassions, the various sitters who have looked in on our cat have gone above and beyond - in getting copies of our keys made, helping a friend get in our apartment when we were gone after she locked her purse inside, and even going as far as helping clean up when we had a water issue at our apartment when my husband and I were on our honeymoon. Additionally, the sitters always seem to really engage with our cat and seem to genuinely care about him. We Could not be more grateful to be able to depend on Purr Inc any time we need to leave our cat! read more

I used Purr Inc a few times for visits with my cat, Josette. Robert was very professional and attentive during the meet and greet. All the sitters who visited sent timely recaps with pictures and details about their visit with my cat. Scheduling through their online website once an existing client was very easy. I had a great experience using Purr Inc, however, I felt their pricing for their visit duration (15, 20, 25 minutes) was a bit high and I also didn't like that they couldn't guarantee visit time (eg. 10am-11am) . They have a route that they follow so it could be anytime within a larger time frame.I also wasn't able to schedule multiple visits per day. I've worked with two other services that allow me to schedule two visits per day (AM and PM) during a specific two hour time frame for the AM and PM visits. As I mentioned I've always been satisfied with the service, but their model and pricing doesn't work for my needs where as other companies do. If these items aren't a big deal for you then I would definitely recommend using Purr Inc. read more
