Along with her wonderful family and staff, she has gone above and beyond, and I can't thank them enough. When I first adopted my two rescue dogs, Clark and Addison, I had no idea what I was getting into. They were only 4 months old, extremely anxious and reactive, and I thought they couldn't be around other dogs or people. I wanted them to continue gaining exposure, especially while I was at work. Thanks to daycare, their social skills improved tremendously. I remember sharing with Carolina how I was concerned about them not having any exposure to children. Carolina's children would visit the daycare, now I can have friends with children visit. I always worried they might have a bad experience and regress, but I never had to worry about that while they were in daycare. Now, I can walk around my condo with ease, greeting neighbors and their dogs, and the boys are great with new dogs. Furry Paws has truly made a positive difference in their lives.

They asked all the important questions and transferring my dog's previous vet records was very easy. Showed up for our appointment (a general wellness check) and the front desk was on point. She pulled up the vet records I transferred and went through all the required vaccination, their due dates and what's missing. Dr Boin came out to see my dog (within minutes of my arrival). Did the routine checkup and gave me some recommendations on how to train a puppy and what to expect. He has a LOT of good recommendations that were eye opening for me - and I've had dogs in the last 20 years!!! No up sells, no unnecessary procedures. Plain and simple, Dr Boin laid out what to expect in the next few months, how to deal with it and what's absolutely necessary to keep my pup healthy and happy. Experience may vary depending on who is at the front desk. I've had to call a couple of times to get the proper vaccination record for my apartment and dog day care. So they have some areas to improve on.

Dr. Boin and Dr. Fox have always been honest, reasonable, and my dog's spay surgery was handled seamlessly. Unfortunately, my experiences with Trisha, the vet technician, have been consistently disappointing. I stay on top of my dog's vaccines, appointments, and medical care, and I always try to be a proactive pet owner. Despite that, I've repeatedly felt met with a lack of compassion and understanding when interacting with her. Instead of feeling supported when my dog has a health concern, I've left feeling judged and discouraged. It's unfortunate because the veterinarians have been wonderful, but these interactions have made me question whether I'll continue bringing my dog here.

I take both my cat Arche and my dog Kai to see Dr. Trice and we all absolutely adore her. Both pets had to go through medical treatment and we were guided every step of the way with clear instruction and true care. They don't only care for the pets though, they also care for us owners. During Kai's heart worm treatment they sent pictures of him hanging out in the lobby and sleeping behind the front desk to ease my mind and help Kai with his separation anxiety (plus his talent as an escape artist). (See photo) My dog actually *enjoys* going to the vet now. We walk past Vetique on all our walks and he will stand at the door wanting to go inside even if it's in the middle of the night. (See photo) Couldn't recommend Vetique more, we love it there. And of course, the place itself is beautiful & they have wine :)

I am the sole caretaker of my dogs and do not receive additional help. To say that PupStars has stepped in and stepped up to fill that void would be an understatement. They have been there during emergencies, honored last minute requests, and I love to say that they have been more helpful than any of my boyfriends ever have been! Their expansive 10,000 square ft indoor and outdoor space allows my dogs to play and get all their energy out, which wouldn't be possible in my small apartment. When they are there, they are closely monitored and cared for. The PupStars staff, who are first-aid and CPR-certified, is quick to call if they notice any out of character behavior, which has made me feel truly safe when my dogs are under their care. TBH, I trust them more than I trust myself! The services they offer are unlike any other dog daycare in Chicago. To name a few, PupStars provides morning and evening transportation, professional grooming, boarding, fecal sample testing (one of my favorites because IYKYK), adorable themed enrichment activities for every holiday, training through their partner Anything is Pawzible, and a canine aquatic facility in the works! They are more than just a daycare facility, they truly feel like family (with my dogs and I being the most dysfunctional members). Run, don't walk (whether that is on 2 or 4 legs)!
