My dog has visited bond vet for about 2-3 years now. I have to say everyone is so nice and the office is very clean and nicely decorated. But my gosh, we took Thor there yesterday to get his nails trimmed because he cannot stand us cutting them. They were so professional quick and incredible. 100% recommend for difficult nail trims! Thank you, Bond Vet, for the kindness and compassion you showed my cat, Twinkle, in his final moments. Saying goodbye to him was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but I'm so grateful he was surrounded by people who truly cared. Even though it wasn't easy, you helped ease his pain and allowed him to pass peacefully. That brings me more comfort than I can express. I only wish you could have known him longer. Beyond his signature curly fry tail, he was such a special soul -- outgoing, affectionate, and full of personality. So my visit here was pretty quick. I went at 4:30pm on a weekday and my visit was with Dr. Ugol. There was a very kind vet tech/receptionist who assisted us (my father and I as he accompanied me to the appt). I believe her name was Elisa. She greeted us very warmly. We were even a few minutes late, but it wasn't busy so perhaps they didn't mind that. Even so we were directed into a room rather quickly. Elisa explained how she wished to use Ai to take notes amd asked our permission beforehand. Still getting used to Ai being integrated into daily life, but if it's helps people work smarter, not harder then by all means, Shortly after Elisa conducted a brief medical assessment about Bonnie's health, Dr. Ugol came in and examined her as well. She was very professional and respectful and kind. I had no complaints with her demeanor or bedside manner. They eventually trimmed Bonnie's nails and addressed my concerns about a hot spot on Bonnie's leg and some habitual itching and scratching that she engages in from time to time. A second vet tech named Joe came in to assist Elisa, the vet medical assistant to hold Bonnie while she had her nails trimmed. I appreciated how they spoke to her the whole time and reassured her that everything was fine. She appeared to do a good job at trimming a dog's nails which was good. Overall, I was really grateful for the outstanding customer service. Dr. Ugol seemed pretty knowledgable as well. read more

Another Fantastic visit! Thank you for taking care of my dog. Several years ago, my daughter found your site. She raved that Reign entered the door with enthusiasm. We would literally have to drag her into the office of our previous vet. The staff is very pleasant. I've always received very thorough instructions on the care of Reign. She loves being rubbed down with the prescribed Douxo Mousse. Thank you for clipping her overgrown nails. TLDR: DON'T COME HERE This vet was unable to properly locate the foreign object located in my cats stomach I went to this vet three separate occasions to figure out what was wrong with my cat but to no avail. bloodwork was done, x-rays were done-- everything came back "perfect" but my cats state continued to decline. BondVets solution was to keep telling me to come back-- running me up nearly $1500 in fees that did absolutely nothing. i finally decided to take my cat to a different vet (Paws and Feathers Veterinary Clinic; go see them instead of these idiots). i gave this P&F all of the context, medical history, and BondVet visits information. i explained to this new vet how BondVet performed bloodwork and x-rays and i was met with a confused look from my new vet at P&F: "ultrasounds are the best way to determine circumstances like this. x-rays can't capture translucent material such as plastic and elastic." ... so what was BondVet's thought process behind doing an x-ray then?? why not do more to ensure the health of a clients animal? are they incapable and not properly stocked up with the correct machinery to do so? i feel like intaking foreign objects is the most common serious issue for cats... and y'all are not gunna have the means to take care of that? embarrassing and also DANGEROUS??????? not only that, i explained to BondVet how i felt a little lump in my cat's abdomen and i was concerned. BondVet looked at my cat, felt her abdomen and explained to me "i don't feel anything. you probably just felt her abs" CLEARLY that wasn't the case. CLEARLY these people don't have the means to properly ensure the health of your animal. thank god i went to another vet who knew what they were doing. otherwise my cats state would have continued to suffer and i would have had to allocate more and more debt. praying they go out of business. but i doubt it considering they are just a glorified pet food store at the end of the day. read more

Update: although my experience with Gold Coast BondVet was problematic, they have offered to adjust a portion () the fees paid that day and I have accepted their offer. I had the misfortune of having to say Goodbye to my beloved Bella. I was able to schedule an appointment online. The second i walked in everyone was so sympathetic. They got her water and treats. Joe came in and explained the cost and what was offered, how it worked and the entire process. He helped me pick out her urn. The nurse came in took my girl, they gave her something to keep her calm & gave me as much time as I needed to say my Goodbyes. I hate that i had to do this, but am grateful for everyone that help us out. read more

Be careful. We arrived early for our appointment and were charged an additional $140 "walk-in" fee. The doctor and assistant seemed nice but in this economy when businesses start unnecessarily fleecing you for extras it makes it hard to trust in this area. Today, my dog was seen by Dr. Shannon Leary. This is no longer a vet practice first, but a sales office and then an animal care center. I recently learned that vets get commission for revenue brought in, and it is evident here. The vet came into the room three times today, trying to push different tests for an eye infection, totaling several hundred dollars, even after I said I would like to try just the antibiotic drops for a few days. She performed a pressure test on her own and continued to praise herself, saying that she wouldn't be charging me for it. I received the recap back and the assistant made assumptions about some of the questions without asking me, like the type of dog food, eating habits, bowel movements, throwing up...These would be important questions for an annual visit, especially one at $130. The worst part of the visit was, she overfilled a syringe with stain and it shot on the wall. She grabbed a gauze to wipe the wall and then proceeded to use the dirty gauze on my dog's eye to catch the drops. I stopped her and asked what she was doing, and she said, Oh, well, she will be on antibiotic drops...what??? They charge over 130 dollars for Cytopoint, where I have never paid more than 90. Go to Petco and save your money. This place is a scam. read more

Updated Review of Bond Vet - Gold Coast (September 20) I recently had another visit to Bond Vet - Gold Coast, this time with Dr. Lauren Ugol for my two dogs, Kadin and Joey. Dr. Ugol took her time and was very thorough, addressing all of my questions and even researching a few things with me. It's always reassuring when a vet takes that extra step for clarity and care. The visit started on a positive note, with the site manager greeting me as I came in, and overall, the team was incredibly friendly. During the appointment, the staff also walked me through their portal system and why I wasn't receiving notifications. Apparently, you have to manually opt-in to get notifications about your pets, which I find a bit backwards--most people would want reminders about their pet's health by default. The district manager is now looking into that and seemed to understand my concerns. While I've consistently been impressed by the veterinary care at Bond Vet, my past issues have been with their operations. This time, I felt like they truly listened to my feedback and made an effort to address the issues. It's too early to tell if the changes will stick, but they went out of their way to try to make things right, and I'm hopeful that things will improve. I'll continue monitoring and updating this review based on how things progress hence the rating I would give them 5 stars if it was just on Dr. Ugol, as I have to see the difference in the rest of operation before I change to a full 5 starts read more

Our doggie, Ellie, got something stuck in her throat, so we walked over here. The staff was really professional and friendly, and everything worked out fine. They got a bone out of Ellie's teeth and it was a very reasonable charge for an emergency situation. The facility is brand new, so it's spotless and very welcoming. Great vet! The staff always does a thorough job with Hazel (dog) and Abby (cat). Hazel has had a few more health issues and the doctors/techs/reception make her feel comfortable during the visits. I can tell she trusts them even though she's anxious. The vets are very communicative and clear. They are transparent about costs as well. The business itself is run very smoothly. Everyone seems to be on the same page so I don't have to go through the same conversations with different people if possible. They really do work efficiently. All the vets are very smart and have good plans of action. Follow up questions are answered over email or phone relatively quickly. I'm grateful I found a vet I can trust. I wish Bond had a wellness plan to help spread out the costs like some other places do. Other than that, I recommend this place to any pet owner! read more
