Home Alone Pet Services will not disappoint you! Erin has been walking my two golden retrierview for over 10 years. She is not only our dog walker and sitter, she is our family member. We Call her Auntie Erin!! She is the only person I have found who is caring, reliable, dependable, honest and loves our golden's as much as I do. Our dogs get excited every time she walks in the door and we couldn't be happier with her and her company! Thanks Erin for the last 10 years of being a part of our family! read more

I utilize Home Alone's services regularly to watch our two cats while we are away on various trips. Erin is an awesome catsitter, always sends us great photo updates so we can see how they're doin, and the kitties are always happy as a clam when we come home from a trip. She's got great availability, is super easy to schedule, and affordable! read more

I had previously had close friends or family members taking care of the kitty "kids" but when I moved from out of town to the Logan Square/West Bucktown neighborhood in 2013 I did not have that option. So, I looked on Yelp and found Home Alone. The reviews were good so I gave Erin a chance. Well, its 2019 and Erin has now been sitting for my kitties for six years. Why? Because she is like having close friends and family take care of my "kids." In addition to parenting the kitties she has alerted me to issues around the house, when the oldest cat was not doing well, and other things outside of her "job description." She also provided me with advice for vets and other pet related services. Plus she really loves animals and it shows. read more

I found Home Alone Pet Service via Yelp last year and have been loving them every since! I was a little nervous when I was trying to find a pet sitting service because I've never used an outside service for pet sitting. When I reached out to Home Alone, Erin originally introduced me to Subarna. I had him watch my cat, Butter, for a few months. He was very responsive and Butter was well taken care of. Butter didn't do so well at first because he generally likes females better but Subarna would make sure that Butter is fed and would send me pictures to reassure me. Then when Subarna was unable to cat sit for me, I was introduced to Bethany. Butter and I absolutely adore Bethany! She is very responsive, responsible, and caring. Sometimes I have weird feeding schedule because of how available my roommate is and she is very flexible. She will make sure to take pictures every time she feeds and takes care of your furbaby. I'm so glad that I found an amazing business that I can rely on. Thank you! read more

Just Yelp for help! (If you don't have a toddler and don't get this Paw Patrol reference, I'm sorry. Actually be sorry for me, I know almost all the lines by heart.) Regardless! Home Alone Pet Service has been exceptional. I found them through Yelp as being close-ish to our new place in Logan Square. As our dog was set to arrive back to Chicago before us, I wanted to get setup with daily weeks to keep her moving (she's 15!) while she was in the care of our house sitter and while we were getting transitioned and moved. I really lucked out. Erin (the owner) and Subarna (walker) are absolutely wonderful. Not only reliable daily, but kind to our old gal, and flexible on some last minute requests. Extremely responsible AND responsive. They both went above and beyond for me last week when I was in a bit of a jam. Hashtag blessed straight up! Erin does the billing and they accept e-payments (I use Quickpay via Chase). Done via email and all very easy peasy. Good people, these are the kind of folks you want looking after your furry friends when you are out/away at work/traveling. Highly recommended. read more

Needed a cat sitter since we were going to be gone on vacation. Found Home Alone through yelp and decided to give them a try. Erin came over to meet with us and to try to start bonding with our very finicky cat. Her rates were reasonable and she was in the neighborhood which was nice. Not only did she take care of our cat but she watered our plants and checked our mail everyday. I would recommend Home Alone for all pet caring needs. read more

Erin's the best. She's come through for us in a pinch more than once, taking our dog into her home for overnight stays. She always sends us pictures to let us know how he's doing and he always seems like he had a great time when we pick him up. I can't recommend her enough. read more

I had to travel on short notice, and never having boarded my dog before I found myself in a rush to find a boarder who I felt comfortable with. I researched a number of places and they were all unsuitable due to some combination of price, availability, strict requirements or poor facilities. My experience with Home Alone couldn't have been better. My dog got to spend the weekend in a family setting with an experienced handler and other dogs. He didn't have to spend the entire time in a cage either. When I got him back he was exhausted but clearly had a great time, and he didn't smell like cleaning products (like dogs do when they come out of most kennels). Erin is very friendly and responsive, and clearly loves the pets that she watches. She sent me pictures and updates along the way, which did a great deal to make me feel more comfortable with the situation. I'd leave my dog with her again in a heartbeat. read more

Home Alone is fantastic! We had never left our two rescue dogs with anyone before, and were were apprehensive about finding a sitter. Erin totally put me at ease by suggesting that we bring our boys to her house a few days before our trip to get comfortable with her and her place. She was warm and doted on our pups like they were her own. After we picked them up, the boys were obviously happy and well-taken care of. She walked them several times a day and even let them sleep on her bed! Her prices are great, she's very dependable, and even sent us some great pictures of our dogs' adventures while we were away. Highly recommended. read more

We started using Erin about seven months ago as well when we first got our little puppy, Romie! She is amazing!! She is very dependable and is great with Romie. Romie absolutely adores her. Her rates are reasonable and the service is high quality. She is always available via email/text. I have had to use her several times when I was unexpectedly running late from work. Erin was able to get Romie for an extra walk! Erin is very attentive and cares for all her dogs as if they were her own pets. If you are looking for a caring and dedicated dog walker/pet sitter, then Erin is definitely the right person for you! Thank you, Erin! read more

Would highly recommend this pet service. I needed a pet sitter for my cat last minute - the week of Thanksgiving - and Erin's assistant Ryan watched my cat. He was very responsive and sent pictures of my cat while I was on vacation. I felt very reassured that my cat was under good care. Also their rates are very reasonable. read more

Erin has always run her business with heart and professionalism. She loves animals more than most and you can tell she found her dream job. She's helped me out and friends of mine in a pinch. I highly recommend this business. It's not easy to find a dog walking company as reliable as this. read more

Needed to be out of town for a week but I have many cats. Some are mine and some are recently rescued. I was afraid that it would be impossible to find a pet sitting service willing to look after such a large group. Erin was very open to the challenge and her rates are very reasonable. I'll be calling on Erin again very soon! read more

I have known Erin a long time; back early in our careers when we were both fledgling designers. She was smart enough to follow her true love and make a business out of it. And I cannot recommend her enough! She loves all animals and cares for them as if they were her own. She sends pictures and updates on how the babies are doing, which is very comforting. And she's used to taking care of old, cranky animals with urinary issues (like my cat!) She does it all with a smile on her face. I'd recommend Erin and Home Alone Pet Service to anyone who needed pet-sitting services. Erin - thanks, my friend; you've been a lifesaver! read more

We have been using Home Alone, Erin, for a few months now and we don't have any complaints. She has been SUPER flexible and SUPER accommodating. We have had times when we have had to cancel last minute or times when we have needed someone to walk the dogs last minute, and she always responds and is able to come through. I would definitely recommend Home Alone and so would my two dogs. They love her and her helpers. read more

I have boarded my dog once before and tentatively promised myself never to do it again following her behavior after we picked her up. We could not really find a solution for getting a sitter to stay at the house while we were gone, so we had to find someone. Anyhow, my mother dropped Lucy off on Friday and we picked her up on Sunday. Lucy was definitely happy and undisturbed. Erin is great, she is so sweet and let us do a little meet and greet before hand. I am so happy with her services and totally will use her in the future. Not to mention, she has a sweet house and snuggles with the dog! read more

The Home Alone Pet Service ladies have been absolutely amazing! Extremely flexible, good rates, very professional, and my pup gets a good workout when they visit so when I come home my babe is an absolute doll! I've used their dog walking services and plan to use their overnight care (which also includes watering plants and taking in the mail) as well! read more

Erin has provided much of peace of mind. I know that my dog is in caring hands whether she's taking care of Tiva personally or one of her walkers steps in- providing reliable pet centered service. For well over a year Erin has been our walker. She is flexible yet detail oriented- volunteering observations if there is a cause for concern and often going the extra mile: Once, arriving at our home she noticed Tiva was ill, informed me of the situation immediately, AND cleaned up the 'ahem' offensive evidence! I cringe at the thought of ever moving if it meant she would no longer be our walker- Tiva would definitely miss her. read more

Our big boy passed away 2 weeks ago but Erin (Home Alone Pet Service) had been his walker and sitter for quite a number of years. All you would have to do is say, "you are going to see Erin" and he would run around the house barking and smiling. Our boy knew a fantastic dog walker and person. Thank you Erin. I would recommend Erin to anyone, although I don't want her to get so popular that she'll be booked all the time! I used to take my dog to a big commercial daycare/boarding and she really didn't like it. She loves Erin's house, and goes nuts when she sees we're coming up to the gate. I never have to worry about her with Erin, and her prices are very reasonable. Erin will also come by and walk my dog in a pinch if I can't get home, or will be out all day. read more

Erin in fantastic. Not only was she a total pro when caring for my temperamental and territorial cat, but she also went above and beyond the call of duty when she discovered the ant problem in my kitchen who were getting into my kitty's cat food. Rest assured that your pet is in great hands when Erin is caring for them. Two thumbs up! read more

I would give Erin 6 stars if I could. I have a 19 year old cat in good health but I was still so nervous to leave her home alone. As soon as my Sophie met Erin, she gave her the flop and her little belly for a quick pet. I knew Sophie would be in good hands. And she was. Erin made my trip so relaxed. She sent me emails and pictures. Sophie was not even mad at me when i came home. Thanks Erin, you have a new client forever. read more

We just started using Erin and Shane about 3 weeks ago. We had two dogs, one of which was special needs, suffering from Degenerate Myelopathy (ALS for dogs). We sadly had to put Bree to sleep a few days ago, but during the previous 3 weeks Shane showered her with love and affection. He spent extra time making sure she was able to get outside okay and then stayed with her to give her extra attention. Shane still takes care of Izzy for us a couple of days a week, and we are thankful to have such an attentive person watching over her. Thanks for taking such great care of our dogs! read more

Erin watched our cat while we were away for a little over a week. We came home to a very happy kitty! Not only was Erin extremely professional, but she was also very flexible when we had a few last minute changes to when we needed her to come by. We felt so comfortable leaving our cat with her while we were out of the country! Would use Erin again in a heartbeat! read more

I can't say enough GREAT things about Home Alone Pet Service. My dog Lucy and I have been clients for the past 2.5 years. Erin is the BEST and makes each and every dog seem like they are part of her own family! I hate when I have to leave my "fur baby" but I always know she looks forward to the stay with Erin and Home Alone Pet Service. She gets excited when we arrive and that gives me peace of mind. This pet service just totally understand the true definition of compassion, friendly pet care, and customer service! I feel so much better about leaving Lucy at a house where she is not locked up in a crate all day. She gets to keep her normal routine and play with other dogs- all under close and loving supervision! Home Alone is the perfect solution for any person who wants nothing but the best for their pet!!! read more
