We've been using Katie and Dog Gone Walking for many years now. They are always super accommodating with our needs, and always leave detailed reports of our doggie walks. Our dog, Robocop can be challenging and stubborn at times, but Katie's walkers always take great care of him. Highly recommended! read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dog Gone Walkin'. Emily has walked my dog, Foxy, while I worked and she is AMAZING! She has gone as far as pick up toilet paper Foxy chewed up, filled up her water bowl, and just made the whole process of leaving Foxy at home so much easier. Foxy at times would excitedly pee when she saw Emily (Never has done that for me but whatever! Lol) The owner, Katie, is lovely! And the whole process is comforting as a new Dog Mom. The app they use shows where they walked, they send photos, and even tell you when they go to the bathroom. Truly felt at ease having them walk Foxy. Thank you all so much for loving our dogs as if they were you're own. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Dog Gone Walkin'! Most importantly, they LOVE dogs and my dogs are always so comfortable with them. THEY ARE THE BEST! read more

Katie and Dog Gone Walking are fan-freaking-tastic! When I got a new job a couple of years ago, my wife and had a dilemma: what do we do with our furry child during the day? She is a rescue and doesn't seem to have been socialized with other dogs during her formative years. She doesn't know how to play with other pups and prefers to be left alone, so doggie daycare would have just frazzled her nerves. Dog Gone Walkin' to the rescue! Katie put our minds at ease and suggested a small group hike based upon our little terrier's temperament. From the reports, it sounds like she is doing great and even making some friends! Obviously, I don't go on these hikes, so I cannot say for sure what my dog's experience is. I do, however, work from home on occasion and have been able to observe her excitement when our walker shows up. As a terrier, she can be quite stubborn when she doesn't want to go somewhere (like the groomer or the vet), but it is clear that she looks forward to these daily adventures. Thanks, Dog Gone Walkin', for awesome service and for taking care of our baby! read more

Dog Gone Walkin' is the best dog walking service that I have used. Their walkers are trustworthy, punctual, and very affectionate with my pugs Rocky and Millie. I trust them with the key and alarm code to my home in Los Feliz, a neighborhood plagued with burglaries, and the house is always properly locked up when I get home from work. I highly recommend her and her staff of pet lovers! read more

I don't write many reviews -- only when I feel really strongly about a business. I have used Dog Gone Walkin' probably since soon after its creation. Over the years, I and my babies have gone through Nathan, Ryan, Drew, and of course, Katie. Nine years throughout the life of my Gypsy Girl, then here and there with various rescue/foster pups. Katie and Dog Gone Walkin' have always been there to help, no matter when, where, and how needed, they have always found a way to make it work. Night before last, I almost hit a German Shepherd pup when she ran out in front of my car on Fountain in H'wood (I didn't but pulled over to help others catch her). She was hurt, scared, and abused, so not easy to handle. A bunch of us finally caught her, and I took her home for the nite. When I went to take her to the vet yesterday, i couldn't get a collar/leash onto her and/or get her into the car. I called everybody from the nite before, and anybody else I could think of -- including Katie, whom I hadn't spoken with in a couple years. I got a text back -- "in Highland Park right now, but I'll be there right after this." And she was. Katie and Dog Gone Walkin' -- this is a business with people who love what they do and who are good at what they do because they love what they do. And they're pretty damned knowledgeable regarding animal behavior, too. That's not as common as you might assume. I am an absolute animal lover. And these are my absolute go-to people for dog walking, dog-sitting, and caring about my babies as much as I do. Thank you, DGW. read more

Katie and all of her crew do a great job with my big goofy dog. He is always thrilled to see them and comes home tired and happy. I couldn't recommend them more highly. read more

Our dog Pony is not exactly the easiest lady to love-- she's strong, energetic and doesn't really trust anyone human aside from myself, my husband and Katie at Dog Gone Walkin'! Katie is some kind of dog whisperer. She's reliable, sweet and always there when we need her-- plus her great staff is great and ready to take care of Pony when we travel. Highly recommended! read more

If you are lucky, you live in a neighborhood where Dog Gone Walkin' will take care of your dog. Katie and Co. at Dog Gone Walkin' are the greatest! Cookie, my big athletic dog needs more exercise than I can handle with a full time job, but since she's a big friendly bruiser of a dog, it's hard to find someone I trust to take her out. The first time I met Katie and watched her interact with my dog I was sold. She clearly understood animals and I felt secure knowing Katie would be taking her out on hikes. I highly recommend! read more

I very rarely write reviews for businesses and I write them when I'm 100% certain on my experience with one. I rescued my dog Amigo about a year and a half ago. He's not only my world, he's a very special animal to me. He was pretty tough to get acclimated when I first brought him home. He was always an angel with me. But, he bite about 5 of my friends and got expelled from my work after biting someone at work. But, in the process of working and training with him over the last year, I was able to truly rely and trust Katie and her team to walk him for me. I use them every single week for walks and the occasional dog sitting in a pinch. They have been EXCELLENT with not only understanding him, but also being a HUGE help and relief to me. I've worked with 4 trainers over the last year- including the Jedi master himself Cesar and now that Amigo is almost fixed, I'd like to think that Katie and her team have been part of his recovery. He loves her team and all of their doggie pack. I 1000% recommend this crew to care after your dog. They are very reliable, professional, caring, easy to communicate with, and fair with their pricing. Use them, you'll be very happy. read more

We simply could not have gotten another dog without the help of Dog Gone Walkin'. They catered to our puppy's needs while also walking our adult dog. They respond within minutes, adapt to any request, and truly love our dogs. If we're kept late at work, they're our first call. They've lent us leashes and even taken our mail in! We trust them and recommend them to all of our friends. Their prices are really fair too! Look no further :) read more

Katie and her team are the best. We've had the pleasure of working with them for 7 years and every walker we've had has been great. They actually CARE about your dog and are super trustworthy. I couldn't be happier with them or recommend them more highly. read more

I have used Dog Gone Walkin' for about a year and could not be more impressed by their service. Catherine and the walkers are courteous, flexible, and quick to respond. I know my dog really enjoyed the long walks with other dogs. The pricing is also better than the majority of the competition. read more

We LOVE Dog Gone Walkin'! As a former dog walker myself, I have extremely high standards for my own pup and Catherine and her team exceed them! My favorite part is the app they use to to notify you when they arrive/when the walk is finished, and they take a picture of your dog! Love the live updates. They're so responsive and on their A-game, it's awesome. 10/10 would recommend. read more

We have been using Katie and Dog Gone Walkin' for over a year. They are professional, responsive, and absolutely love what they do. Their walkers are great, and their prices are as well. They are very safe, using gloves, hand sanitizer and their own leashes. It is clear that Katie cares deeply not only about my beloved pup, but also supporting and protecting her employees during this difficult time. I am proud to support this small business and I hope you will too! read more

We adore Dog Gone Walkin' and have always felt safe knowing that our elderly pup was in good hands. Katie and her team are the best! Reliable, caring and responsive. Highly recommended. read more

We love Katie and Dog Gone Walkin! Love, love, love. I am the owner of two dogs- one very mellow and shy and the other very large and unpredictable. From the moment Katie met them she was patient and confident and kind. They are in love with her which is no small feat. In the past our large dog, Dewie, refused to leave the house with any walker other than us. And when I say refused I mean much gnashing of teeth, hiding and growling was happening. With Katie they are both more than happy to leave the house and head out on their next Dog Gone Walkin' adventure. Katie is extremely responsible and trustworthy, she hires equally awesome employees and she runs a great business. I can't recommend her enough. We are huge fans read more

I love the people who work here! I have a constantly rotating schedule with last minute changes that Katie and the team are always so wonderful about accommodating. Not to mention that Bonnibel LOVES Daniel and Kate and all her buddies she sees on her weekly walk. Plus they are always really great about communication, letting me know what's up and if there's anything weird happening with her (which happens frequently because she's a special pup). I've been using them for almost two years now and I love them! I also obsessively save all those insanely cute pictures of my baby on her walk because I love them and I love getting them when I'm away to know she's happy! read more

I'd give Dog Gone Walkin' 10000 stars if I could!! These people are the BEST!!! Your beasts will be in the BEST hands possible! We trust them COMPLETELY!! read more

They have been the best- super reliable and responsive. The rates are also very reasonable. I have no idea what we would do without them!

I have been working with Katie and her loving professional team of dog walkers and pet sitters for over 15 years now. I always feel secure and worry free when I leave for a trip and leave my myriad fur babies in their care. Katie is honest, organized, and a serious animal lover and her hand chosen team is the best! My pets and my home have always been taken care of with the utmost love and respect and I am given regular text updates and photos at whatever volume I request! Love Dog Gone Walkin'! read more

When we started looking for a dog walker for our rescue shiba a couple years ago, we knew we wanted to find someone consistent who would deal with his special needs (he was never socialized, is scared of most noises, and had never walked on a leash before we adopted him -- not to mention he is as stubborn as shibas come). Luckily we found Katie and her Dog Gone Walkin' crew, and now our rescue boy has regular walkers who accommodate all his special needs and have gone above and beyond on several occasions. They even found friends for him in the neighborhood and have been helping him socialize on his own terms, which is incredible. Katie and her walkers are all so sweet and I think my dog really enjoys their visits. If you're looking for dog walkers, don't hesitate to give Dog Gone Walkin' a try! read more

What? I can't rate them 10 stars...because they seriously deserve it! Our dog Moose (a rescue mix 100+ pounds) is now socialized because of the services that Dog Gone Walkin' provides. They have been with us since the beginning with Moose. We were very nervous to have Moose interact with other dogs because of a few weird incidents we encountered with othe neighborhood dogs + local dog park here in Silverlake. Over the course of the last year-and-a-half Katie was able to help us feel secure about moose moving from individual to group hikes. One of the dog walkers that works for Katie - Nathan - is awesome. Moose gets so excited when he hears Nathan's car driving down the street. We have used Dog Gone Walkin' for private walks, group hikes, doggie boarding and would recommend them to anyone who lives within their service area. Our house was for sale for 7+ months and like clockwork...Dog Gone Walkin would come (always on time) to pick up Moose before our Sunday open houses and drop him off at the end of the day. We can tell he has been pampered and enjoyed his exercise as he is always tuckered out at the end of day and not following us around for snuggles etc... We are moving back to France and Moose will be happy to have a larger yard, but will certainly miss Katie, Nathan, and Dog Gone Walkin'. Oh, and the prices are totally reasonable + they can take your dog on errands to the vet, to get groomed etc... if needed. Give them a call :) read more

Katie is great! We rescued a dog a few months back who has some behavioral problems and Katie was the perfect match! She is patient and willing to work with dogs that other sitters/walkers would not. She is super nice and really flexible and reliable. 5 stars for sure! read more

Great biz! Our dog loved Whitney. Highly recommend!

Katie and her team have been caring for Gigi the desert cat for 5 years. They've never ever let us down. They're supremely easy to schedule and I come back knowing that my animal's been well cared for. I just returned from the longest time away from Gigi - 12 days - during which time Whitney sent me pictures of Gigi, emailed updates, and stacked copious amounts of mail. I can't imagine anyone doing as good a job as these guys do. read more

I have been using Dog Gone Walkin's services for almost a month. In that time I've really grown to like and trust the team I've been in contact with. From Catherine, who is incredibly responsive and helpful, to Danielle, who has been so patient with our dog, Olly. We are so grateful that even though it took him a bit to warm up to her, she didn't give up on him or write him off. This weekend, we had a bit of an emergency, in that it was our first time leaving him with a dog sitter while we went out of town... he didn't do so well with our dog sitter, and I reached out to Danielle hoping she'd be working over the weekend, and would be able to take him on a short afternoon walk. She did us one better and offered to take him to an outdoor event she was attending, for a few hours. From the pictures I can tell he absolutely enjoyed himself, and i appreciated her communication before, throughout, and after their outing. They really have won me over in such a short amount of time with their incredible service and care for my dog, and I look forward to working with them for years to come. Thank you, Dog Gone Walkin/Catherine + Danielle! read more

Katie is wonderful. That is as simple as it gets. We had a special needs dog and Katie embraced her and loved her as if she were her own. She truly loves the doggies and the kitties as well. We trust her with our home, our babies and everything else. She understands and adapts to any special needs or any extra care. When we go out of town, she is the first one I call because I don't want her to be booked because she is the only one to take care of and love our babies like they are her own. Dog Gone Walkin and Katie are the BEST read more

I could not dream of a better dog walking company. Beatrix is WONDERFUL. Not only does she frequently take our dog out for MUCH more time out and about with his gang of other dog-walking buddies than we expected (which we, and our dog, absolutely love and adore), she also is an amazing writer and photographer! The notes she writes about our dog, and the (often hilarious or beautiful, or both!) photos she sends us of him, are absolutely the highlight of my afternoon, and are amazingly well-written, soulful, descriptive, and informative! And Katie, the owner of the company, is incredibly responsive, flexible, and kind about our occasional last-minute schedule changes, and crazy, random needs for walking two dogs (when we've fostered other rescue pups for a few days, here and there). Beatrix has made our dog a better-behaved, calmer, more mature pup, and she has made my life immensely better, as a dog owner/lover and guilty worker-of-long-days-in-a-far-away-office! I honestly think he has more fun with her than he does with me, many days! - She takes the dogs on adventures to various parks in the area, and describes the weather and the dogs' interactions in her notes, so we get a real sense of how our dog's day was, from afar! Plus, she's incredibly creative...she made us a holiday ornament out of a lotus pod from Echo Park Lake! AND she's alerted us when I have absent-mindedly left my front door unlocked (and she's locked it for me!)...and dried off our dog when he got wet in the rain, and settled him on his heating pad so he wouldn't be cold all alone in the empty house, after his walk...and she's even driven back to our house when the neighbor's dog got loose and needed to be put back inside, and we couldn't get back home in time, and she had already left the neighborhood! We LOVE Dog Gone Walkin'! They go above and beyond, are truly decent, responsible, caring people, and they help our lives out in so many ways. And after reading scary stories about dogs getting lost or injured by walkers from various non-local dog walking apps, we feel even more lucky than ever to live in Dog Gone Walkin's service area! read more

Katie and her crew are the best that there is! I am so grateful to her that she tries to accommodate my often unpredictable schedule and always, and I mean always comes through. When I go away, she provides top notch housesitting and pet care (I have 2 dogs and 2 cats) and I am able leave knowing that everything (and everyone) will be well-taken care of. I recommend her and her crew (wonderful Nathan is currently walking my dogs) to anyone looking for top notch pet care. They are all knowledgable, compassionate, and trustworthy. read more
