Been here numerous times, the ambiance is always great and the people always friendly. However, this time we had two difference instances where food was taken away for being "Contaminated." First was a drink glass where there was something stuck in the ice. Second, was hair in the food we had ordered. As we went to pay, I asked if there would possibly be any discount for the issues we had and was told "no, we remade your drink and food so no discount." Customer service, esp from the manager, should have ben better. read more

Food was good. Service was awful. Our waitress brought our drinks took our order. She didn't greet us or come check on us. Someone else brought the food laid it on the table and walked away. We had no silverware and had to ask a busser behind the counter for silverware. As soon as we were done eating or waitress reappeared and took our dirty dishes without a word and walked off. She then stood behind the counter rolling silverware and we had to ask for our check. She handed us the check over the counter and still didnt ask how the food was or thank us. She also made rude comments to co workers that we could hear. Won't be eating here again. read more

We ordered two sandwiches, we waited and waited, I asked the server if the kitchen staff lost the ticket or what was going on, she replied that kitchen was very slow and they have been struggling with that all day, she even looked around and said, "we are not even busy, but food is taking time to come out, I don't know what is going on but kitchen is very slow". We waited more and then we got our sandwiches, my daughter panini was burned on one side, my club sandwich was soggy and turkey tasted sour. We couldn't eat the food. When I got up to pay a told the manager to check the turkey because it tasted sour, she said, "oh that's weird, we have been selling that turkey all day and no body has complained " well I am just letting you know, it's up to you what to do. Server didn't come to the table to check on us during the meal, just to deliver the ticket. Then later to ask if we needed to go boxes, yes we took the food home. My dogs enjoyed the sour turkey and burned panini. . We loved coming here, is walking distance from our house, but next time I guess I will drive somewhere else. The best breakfast place ever. The service is AMAZING every time we go, the food is even better! We invited our life group once which was a total of 15 of us, including 4 kids, 1 toddler and 1 baby, and our waitress did a Phenomenal job at waiting on us, making sure everyone had everything they needed and the checks were perfect. I got the traditional and they forgot to bring the pancakes I ordered and only offered to not charge me for gravy. I got the biscuits and gravy, the sausage and the eggs and they were good but I wanted the pancakes that were included with the order. The service is always great. The breakfast is wonderful (I love "For Mom") and the orange juice is freshly squeezed! The food is always hot, not like other places. The bathrooms are clean and the employees are genuinely nice. I'm so glad they are in Anna. I wish them many years of success. read more

Good American style food. Prices about 50% higher than similar restaurants in the area. We've been there 3 times for breakfast. Always costs about $30 for my wife and I. We used to get the same meals for under $20 at Bill Smiths Restaurant in McKinney. Bill's closed last week. We will miss them. Pluses: Blackberry jam for toast. Real butter on table. Real half and Half creamer. Good coffee. Eggs, bacon, sausage, and sour dough toast were good. Wait staff efficient and friendly. Minus: Breakfast menu starts at over $10. Good, but too dear for what it is. We will be trying Jocy's in Princeton. Their breakfasts start at about $7. Good home style restaurants used to be common around Mckinney. Now it's just cracker Barrel or Denny's schlock or gourmet prices for diner food. We will probably be back, but not often. read more

Absolute favorite breakfast place. My husband and I go almost every weekend. Their pancakes are so good!

My hubby did a takeout on wed for me after I had a eye doctors appt. I ordered the biscuits and gravy that was supposed to come with hash browns. Didn't get the hash browns. Was very stingy with the gravy that was on the side. Wasn't enough to cover 2 biscuits. Blueberry pancake was just ok. Wasn't very impressed with the messed up order. We have been fans of the location in Allen since they opened. It is nice to see this new location in Anna. Like the other, the place is very clean and the service is excellent. My wife and I ordered salads, a chicken and a Greek. They tasted good but the meat was hard to find. I love a Greek salad with Gyro meat but mine was lacking what I love most.
