We walked in at lunchtime after 1 PM to a quiet and mostly empty restaurant. We were seated at a front booth and there seem to be a little bit of reluctance from the waitress to serve us. Or at least that's how it appeared between the emotions from the hostess and the waitress. The waitress brought our drinks rather quickly, but our table had not been serviced, so there was no sugar for our coffee and very little cream. She seemed very eager to make us order, even though we had not had a chance to even look at the menu. We did place our order and it seemed to take a little bit of time to get the order. I ordered just regular hamburger and french fries. Hamburger was nice and hot, but was so hot that it made the bun soggy and the fries were ice cold as in they had been sitting there for a while. Overall, not that great of an experience and the food wasn't worth the $40 that we paid. Don't waste your time.

I would have almost traded my eggs and bacon for that bowl of oatmeal my wife had. It looked good, and she said it was good. Check the pictures. I had my usual. The hashbrowns could have been a little crispier. Certainly not cooked as I ordered. I doubt if the cook staff gets bogged down with the details of the order. They dip it out and get it out. The food was out in seconds after the waiter left the table. That's good if you are in a hurry. They serve the Segafredo Zanetti brand coffee. It might be a little too flavorful for the average diner, that is used to bland coffee. I liked it. The service is average. Diner ambiance. Clean. Not as crowded as you would expect a diner to be on a Sunday morning. That's an indicator.

I've been here several times for breakfast and have never had a bad meal or experience. The staff are very nice and attentive. The food is very good, at least the food I've had. The restaurant is always very clean. Almost every server I've had has been attentive, happy to provide suggestions from the menu, and always the type of mood that is uplifting and simply starts your day off right. I'm single, I don't have kids but I always order the "For Dad" meal. I hope they don't catch on to my scam. :) It comes with eggs, a meat, and pancakes but I switch to French toast and upgrade to the very berry French toast. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a breakfast spot

Beware this place has poor quality food and not cooked properly. I don't recommend this place. I don't know how and where they got their 4 and 1/2 star ratings the food is not good and not cooked right. Plus both me and my husband were sick after eating there. The one slim female waitress we had was the only nice one, the rest looked mad. I complained because they burnt my Bocado Omelet and it was dry. My husband's Philly Cheese steak Omelet was not that good but edible, and made him sick to his stomach afterwards with diarrhea. The pancakes were dry and tough to cut we couldn't cut them with a fork or knife. They were overdone. Asked for a new batch. The biscuits were very dry and not really biscuits more like dried up English Muffins. My small serving of hash browns were over grilled and loaded with salt. I told the waitress I don't like my hash brown they're too salty I like to salt my own and they were greasy. The manager said we don't salt them we put seasoning salt in them. Haha seasoning salt the orange stuff is worse and loaded with salt and msg. Ok so they made me another omelet and made me another batch of hash browns with no seasoning but they were raw not cooked all the way. I was going to have to cook them again when we got home, but I ended up getting sick from their food afterwards and threw them away. My husband was sick first. We didn't enjoy our breakfast after coming back from a long drive and the place was noisy with loud talking by the Mexican cooks behind the counter. They were chatting loudly the whole time with the waitresses. I wished that had sat us farther away from the kitchen staff and the music was loud. This place has bad cooks and rude waitresses except for one. We won't be back. Attached photos below of my burnt omelet, their no good phony biscuits, and overdone over seasoned hash brown replaced with raw hash browns. They should be ashamed of themselves for serving both raw and burnt food.

This place has a very warm welcoming from the time your enter the cafe. And from the time you leave. Menu has lots of great options. Really enjoyed the staffing, especially our waitress. She was very attentive and always prompt to bring us what we needed. I'd definitely be coming back here again. Had breakfast here today and was very pleased. The french benedict was absolutely delicious! The hollandaise sauce was legit, delicious hash browns and you can tell the orange juice is freshly squeezed. My kids had the Mickey mouse pancakes and I have never seen them inhale anything faster. My husband also enjoyed his meat lovers skillet with bisquits and gravy. It was very busy but the food still came out so quick and our server was awesome. read more

Newly opened. We've been to the Allen location and had good experience but small inside. Here in Anna the place is huge. Food and service is really good. My scrambled eggs were overcooked especially since I asked for soft scrambled. Next time I'll return if that happens. Will try lunch there soon. read more

My wife and I eat lunch here about every week. The food and service are always great, they have a varied menu, and their prices are reasonable. Clean, comfortable, casual setting and friendly staff. Everything I've ordered has been delicious, and the potato soup is the best I've had. They also routinely make modifications according to our request. read more

Affordable for five people. Everyone gets their own thing and it runs us less than 50-65$ without tip or get some yummy food and often runs 70-90$ with tip but well worth the great food read more

Tried breakfast and I know breakfast is a fairly easy meal to prepare, but there is a good breakfast and a great breakfast. This place does everything great! The orange juice is unbelievably great, sausage gravy, biscuits are awesome, they actually cooked the eggs perfectly, the bacon was crisp and not over cooked. The staff is very sweet and attentive, Whitney and Jasmine are great. read more

My husband and I have been eating at The Colony Sunview almost since it opened. Found out recently that they have added two more locations in Anna and Melissa. Yesterday we tried the Melissa location and the food was delicious as always and today we are at the Anna store. Food is consistent in all locations. I highly recommend trying it out. Once you do it won't be your last time. read more

Tried this AWESOME restaurant for the first time today for breakfast. Service was incredible! Lindsey was one the best waitstaff we've had. Food was equally as good - eggs were done perfectly and crispy hash browns and applewood smoked bacon. My husband got the eggs Benedict and said they were excellent. Delicious! And I would choose this coffee over Starbucks anytime! The establishment was extraordinarily clean and waitstaff was very attentive. Highly recommend! read more

Went in last Sunday and watched an employee in the prep area with her mask below her nose cough, then, pull her mask down and use her bare hand to wipe her nose! She then got a drink and again, with her bare hand wiped her nose and mouth again. She then gave it another wipe using the back of her forearm and hand. At that point she pulled her mask back up still exposing her nose. She continued working in that area and began touching the oranges with her hands pushing them into the juice maker. She NEVER washed her hands. I let an employee know (owner's Father?) he said he'd let his Son handle it? Hope he did? This employee seemed to feel very comfortable doing this. Another relative? I do like this place, but this was gross and very disappointing to see. read more

Tried this place out for breakfast, ordered at 7:30 to go on a Sunday morning and they had our food out in 10 minutes. The meat lovers omelet was delicious. Can't wait to try more of the menu. read more
