I would have almost traded my eggs and bacon for that bowl of oatmeal my wife had. It looked good, and she said it was good. Check the pictures. I had my usual. The hashbrowns could have been a little crispier. Certainly not cooked as I ordered. I doubt if the cook staff gets bogged down with the details of the order. They dip it out and get it out. The food was out in seconds after the waiter left the table. That's good if you are in a hurry. They serve the Segafredo Zanetti brand coffee. It might be a little too flavorful for the average diner, that is used to bland coffee. I liked it. The service is average. Diner ambiance. Clean. Not as crowded as you would expect a diner to be on a Sunday morning. That's an indicator.

We walked in at lunchtime after 1 PM to a quiet and mostly empty restaurant. We were seated at a front booth and there seem to be a little bit of reluctance from the waitress to serve us. Or at least that's how it appeared between the emotions from the hostess and the waitress. The waitress brought our drinks rather quickly, but our table had not been serviced, so there was no sugar for our coffee and very little cream. She seemed very eager to make us order, even though we had not had a chance to even look at the menu. We did place our order and it seemed to take a little bit of time to get the order. I ordered just regular hamburger and french fries. Hamburger was nice and hot, but was so hot that it made the bun soggy and the fries were ice cold as in they had been sitting there for a while. Overall, not that great of an experience and the food wasn't worth the $40 that we paid. Don't waste your time.

I've been here several times for breakfast and have never had a bad meal or experience. The staff are very nice and attentive. The food is very good, at least the food I've had. The restaurant is always very clean. Almost every server I've had has been attentive, happy to provide suggestions from the menu, and always the type of mood that is uplifting and simply starts your day off right. I'm single, I don't have kids but I always order the "For Dad" meal. I hope they don't catch on to my scam. :) It comes with eggs, a meat, and pancakes but I switch to French toast and upgrade to the very berry French toast. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a breakfast spot

Been wanting to try this place for a while, so decided to stop in for lunch. I had a turkey wrap sandwich and a salad. The lettuce in the salad was wilted and not cold at all. The wrap, which also contained lettuce was old and wilted and the wrap itself had no taste. We also tried the bacon burger and it also lacked seasoning and taste. read more

Found this place by looking at Yelp Reviews and it didn't disappoint in any way. We were seated quickly, had amazing service and thought the food was excellent. We had a tuna croissant with soup and fries and a pecan waffle with bacon. We left nothing on our plates. I've bookmarked this gem for the next time I'm in the area because the menu is quite large and I'd like to find some other things to love! read more

This would be a 4 or 5 star review if not for one issue I mention below. I have been to this restaurant literally 100's of times most likely closer to 500. I used to come 3-5x a week every week. First the positives- the waitstaff are amazing and make regulars and first time customers feel at home and truly care about their customers. Something that is rare in this day. Rachel, Whitney, Kayla, Beth, Arsin are great. There are others as well but these are the people that wait on me the most. The food is above average and at times really really good. My wife swears they have the best bacon around. However there is one issue which has by itself made me only eat here on Fridays or Saturdays (as there is a great manager, Evelin here on those days), and made my overall visits drop significantly. I now only come every few weeks if at all. The manager Jasmine doesn't seem to care about her customers and has even laughed at extremely bad situations I've experienced (such as 100% raw bacon on my sandwich). I spoke with the owner about that experience and we resolved it. But her attitude and clear disdain for customers is still always front and center. Bottom line as this city grows and more restaurants and options (Bill Smith's Cafe) open I fear that this overall good restaurant and a place that was my favorite in town will suffer. Especially with the attitude of simply put only one individual. One bad apple doesn't spoil the bunch, but it will keep me away from the orchard. I've been hesitant to leave this review as I didn't want to hurt the great people here, but I feel that this needed to be shared. read more

Typically I have had great experiences here but yesterday was the exception. Instead of ordering breakfast I ordered a Rueben with a side salad. Salad was simple - yet fresh and delicious. The Rueben was not. The cooks rushed the order. The sauerkraut was dumped on without removing most of the juice. The result was the bread soaked up all the sauerkraut juice and was soggy. Additionally the bread was apparently just shown the grill - it was not toasted at all. This ruined the sandwich. The 1000 island dressing was tasty as was the corned beef. But the sandwich as a sandwich was not good. A good Reuben is not rapidly thrown together. If it is - it's bad. The food came out so quickly they couldn't have possibly taken the time to do it right. As always - staff were great. Place is clean. Lots of parking. Really like the place but this just didn't do it. read more

For anyone who misses the way Sunview in Allen used to be, this is the place for you. The staff was friendly and helpful. My waitress was Carly and she was on top of everything. Absolutely amazing, I'll never go back to Allen again. Anna Sunview was the perfect breakfast spot. Plus the coffee is amazing. read more

The line always seems to be out the door for the brunch rush & I have heard so many good things. Super disappointed that the food was bland and pretty expensive for how regular it was. the food admittedly was good, the service not so much. we waited at least twenty minutes to even recieve a greeting or drinks, another ten for our order, and a total of thirty for our actual food. our server we saw only twice. Once to take our order and the second to receive her "tip". We had to speak to a manager for our order who was very lovely. Overall the experience sucked and we will not be returning. read more

First time here -- I had the very berry glazed french toast, which looked truly like the American flag lol (wish I got a picture of it); creativity points goes to this place. More importantly, it was delicious. I also had the hot chocolate, which was filled up over the brim with chocolate sauce drippings on top -- it was very good also. As far as the environment is concerned, customer service was great, but it was loud and congested, which could create a lot of anxiety for certain people in this environment. There's certain breakfast and brunch places I've been to in the place where it's not that way, and creates a more comfortable environment for the individual. All in all, I was pleased with the experience here. read more

Come hungry. Really hungry. I had the southwestern omelette which is 3 eggs filled with yummy cheese and ham and stuff topped with salsa. Now bout' them sides. It comes with 2! So I thought "great" I want2 biscuits. Nope, 1 side is 2 biscuits so that's 4! Fortunately the waitress clued us in! So I I got 1 biscuit side and 1 pancake. That's 2 of each. Yup! I'm full! Of course ya gotta have gravy with that. Later found out you could have the gravy as 1 of the sides. That's a bit more reasonable for me! So if you're heading down the highway in Anna stop by - it's worth the. Outlet minutes down the road - for a delicious breakfast.... Well, Brunch. I'm too full for lunch now! read more

I literally have nothing negative to say. They are so incredibly efficient, that our wait was only 15 min on a Saturday morning for brunch. Our waitress, Chelly, was so attentive. We got our food quickly and it was probably top five breakfasts' I've ever had. Other staff help clean off tables as you put empty plates to the side, and our waitress was great at refilling drinks and checking on us. The Oreo pancakes were a MUST, and the country breakfast was *chef's kiss*. The cappuccino was fantastic and beautifully decorated. I'd drive up here again just for this experience. read more

While waiting for our table, the manager or possible owner was telling single-party guests there was a 30-minute wait, while parties of three or more were being quoted only 10 minutes. An older woman standing there heard him tell the group in front of her 10 minutes right before he told her 30. The more I thought about it afterward, the more disappointed I was that I didn't speak up in the moment. Treating guests differently based solely on party size is unacceptable and left a very bad impression.

Lunch took about an hour and a half so it's definitely not a "quick" option. I'd definitely order from here and go pick it up since it's right across from my office. None of us had bad food and it was all cooked exactly the way we asked except for the crispy hash browns I asked for, I guess there's an art to that.

He'll put your name down and find you when it's your turn. The system works, and it's great. But what of the food? We've brought friends and family and between us all, have sampled easily a dozen dishes or more. My latest brunch was the chicken fried steak, and I ordered it kind of half breakfast, half lunch style. I wanted hashbrowns (extra crispy, and boy, were they delivered that way!) but also wanted fried okra, our server accepted the order with a smile. The steak was tender, well coated with golden brown and delicious crust, and the gravy was thick and well seasoned. Eggs were light and fluffy, and one can see from my picture, those hashbrowns were surely extra crispy. We've also sampled a number of the shop made desserts, and they have all been phenomenal. Bottom line, this is a great locally owned and operated business, where the owner is literally involved and working the floor every day, and they're really doing everything right.

Sunview Cafe has become our favorite weekend breakfast spot since moving to Anna! Every plate that comes out looks great and tastes even better. The strawberry french toast was awesome. The servers are warm and friendly and always keep the coffee coming. It has a bright and cozy feel that makes you want to sit and take your time. The portions are very good and the prices are more than fair. This is the kind of place where you leave full and already planning your next visit.
