Foood was lack luster - party of six and I needed to send mine back for being cold and not prepared as asked. Waiter was exceptional which made up for the food being just ok for me. I'll be looking for other breakfast options next go around. read more

The waits are long and the service slow. The food is good, and thankfully you can get on the waitlist as you drive there. The restaurant is busy and noisy. Had a hard time talking to my family while there. read more

Great food and OUTSTANDING service. As busy as they are, most of the servers recognize me when I come in and seem to remember what I like.

Fabulous food and service. There was a bit of a wait because they do not take reservations but the food was worth the wait.

The food and service is always excellent!!!! When in town this is the first place I go to!!! Just got off the plane ... drove here today!! read more

Good food, friendly service but encourage you to join wait list as early as possible. They do not take reservations and had I not been on wait list I would have left due to the number of people already there. They have nice outdoor seating as well during pleasant Phoenix temperatures. read more

I can't say enough good things about this quaint cafe. I've been twice and has the same server each time. For life of me I can't remember her name I just remember her bubbly personality, attention to detail and overall care for her guests and fellow employees. The good is excellent. The atmosphere is busy but calm. Just a great way to start a day. read more

Having been long time patrons of the previous restaurant at this location, Yolk Cafe had big shoes to fill. Yolk Cafe doesn't just fill the shoes, it burst the shoes wide open at the seams with flavor, ambiance, and service. The new decor is bright, open, and inviting, the serving staff is engaging and knowledgeable, and the kitchen delivers a wonderful mix of flavors. The Florentine Benedict was perfect. The Holandais was creamy but not heavy. The breakfast potatoes are flavorful and not to heavy. The bacon slices are thick, and flavorful, with what seems like a maple smoke flavor. The pancakes are light and fluffy, and have just a hint of sweetness in them. The marble rye bread had a rich taste, and again, was not heavy in the belly. Having had a breakfast that was tasty, and filling, but that doesn't sit heavy is the best way to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend checking this place out soon. As word gets out, it's going to be a busy place. EDIT: After we were done eating and leaving, my car wouldn't shift out of park. While we waited outside, the owner and the manager noticed that we were still here and asked if we needed anything. When we explained we were waiting on a tow truck, they brought out a cinnamon roll and a couple of ice teas for us. The cinnamon roll was so fresh, it was still HOT. The owner was able to get my car to come out of park so we could at least move it to a spot where a tow truck could get in to load the car. That is service and care above and beyond, and we will most certainly be back, and bring lots of friends! read more

Front of the house staff not service oriented. Kitchen ran out of croissants and was told I could wait an hour if I really wanted my Croissant Breakfast sandwiches on Croissants. Croissant breakfast sandwich was served on toast. No apologies or price adjustment. Plane Croissant normally go for $4 to $6 @ most family owned bakeries. I had ordered a double espresso with a side water to drink while waiting for my take out. The Barista made the drink than walked away with out having served it. After a few minutes of not seeing her I I got the attention of a random server. She happily brought my espresso and got me some water After receiving my reciept I saw The" TOAST" breakfast sandwiches were $13.99 . The online menu listed price as $12.49. When leaving I picked up a menu to double check price difference. Woman at hostess stand asked if there was anything she could help with . I showed her my receip & explaining the listed online menu price was differentfrom what I was charged. I was told I probably had an add on. I said yes I understand and pointed out a $2 up charge for extra ham on one sandwich Nothing else was offered to fix or explain why online price differed. I was asked if I wanted to take a menu home. I declined saying I didn't plan on a return visit. I have been in the hospitality and food business for longer than I'd like to admit and I would never treat a customer like they were being trivial, cheep or trying to get something for free. A price adjustment reflecting the online $12.49 price for the " No Croissant breakfast would been better for customer relations and would of gained a return customer. Instead i was charged $ 13.99 and did not receive what I went there for What a rip off! I make a point of staying out of chain establishments. It just feels right to support local business. In most cases staff feels more connected to the patrons and owner. That was not my experience. read more

This is a great little place that you could drive by and never notice. They're open for breakfast and lunch, with some really nice selections on the menu. We chose the basic breakfast items, Biscuits and Gravy with Eggs for my husband and I had the 2 Egg Breakfast with Ham, Potatoes with toast. My husband thought the gravy had a bit too much flour in it, and not very flavorful. Mine was good except I had to send my eggs back as I ordered over/medium and the whites were very runny. The ham and potatoes were great and they recovered well on the 2nd order of eggs. They even took the eggs off our bill! The place was clean with lots of staff. Our server was Sulia and she was great, very friendly and paid attention to us. We will be back! Looking forward to trying other items on the menu and maybe a Mimosa too!! read more

Awesome breakfast and service is good it's so close to home I'll come back it's close to home

First time at this lovely restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. We stopped in for a late breakfast and we're seated promptly and pleasantly. We sat on the patio and our service and ambiance was terrific. The food was served quickly and it was delicious! The banana carmel pancakes were recommended and they surpassed my expectations. The sausage patties were cooked perfectly and that seems to be rare these days. I would highly recommend giving this restaurant a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

Normally with pancakes like this my biggest complaint is not enough toppings but not at all the case with these, each bite got pecan and banana, there was plenty of sauce and it was AMAZING! exactly what i was craving. the benny was a little disappointing eggs were cooked perfectly but the hollandaise just wasn't anything special. The potatoes were amazing though nice and crispy. definitely recommend read more

They accommodated our party of 9 on Sunday afternoon! I called ahead and when we checked in, the hostess was friendly and knew who I was. We had a short wait and we were seated on the patio. Our server was attentive, friendly and refilled drinks quickly. Most of our party ordered breakfast. My granddaughter loved the s'mores waffles. I had a cheeseburger, it was cooked perfectly, had a lot of flavor and served on a beautiful soft bun. Most of the party ordered omelets and everyone enjoyed them. Will definitely go back! read more

First experience at Yolk café was fantastic. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was made to perfection. other families members very pleased with their breakfast dishes as well. our server was new and struggled with her timing but that was offset with the free cinnamon roll at the end of our meal from the manager. can't wait to return! read more

We've been eagerly waiting for Yolk Cafe to open since we used to come to Rustic Cafe for breakfast. Today was our first visit and it will definitely not be the last! Food: Awesome! Greek avo toast and build your own omelet. Fresh ingredients and hearty portions! Service: Awesome! Everyone was very friendly and we never went long without having someone check to see if we needed anything. Atmosphere: Awesome! They really gave this place a full makeover. Very fresh, clean, and modern. Looking forward to trying out some of the adult beverages at our next visit! read more

Had the best breakfast today! First the food here is always 10 out of 10. I brought some out of town guests who very much enjoyed their meal and the service. We were welcomed by the two kindest hostesses who made an amazing effort to seat us at the table we requested. Julianna (I believe that is her name) was very interactive with our group. Our server Raya was on top of it!! I recommend this place to anyone!!! Get yourself some good breakfast with some great service! read more

Best breakfast and brunch shop around! The food is awesome. I have a hard time deciding between breakfast or lunch. The pancakes are sweet and fluffy. But, the All American breakfast is really hard to beat. The avocado blt with thick cut bacon is my favorite sandwich. The sides are delicious and plentiful. It is best to get on the wait list through Yelp because it can become really busy on weekend mornings. The wait staff is friendly and does a great job. read more

The food and service are always great. The restaurant is on the smaller side but they never have too long of a wait.

The food was amazing and quick for how busy they were. The mimosa flight was good but could be better since juice settles to the bottom of glass.
