A great local cafe, perfect for brunch and lunch! Food was good, selection sufficient. Place is busy...the staff are masked; glad we got a booth! The other side by side bench sitting isn't so "distanced" from other customers. Staff was great (great customer service Eric!); patience is required as the cafe navigates using Yelp online reservation (time noted to be there doesn't exactly match sitting availability) and the slight wait for your order. Gives you time to enjoy the coffee and take time to chat. read more

Food was so yummy and service was great! Always check in before online. A bit of a wait but worth it!

Highly recommend this wonderful little breakfast place! Excellent service and everyone is so friendly. Food is delicious and has all the typical breakfast plus some awesome pancakes! The avacado toast is my favorite! And if you are a cinnamon bun lover-these are the best! read more

Came here after son's soccer game this morning, had looked online first before coming to join the online waitlist and it said there was no wait to come on in. We drove 0.4 miles. The whole place was entirely packed and there was a 20 minute wait. We put our name in for eight people. There was a party right before us of 8. We waited over an hour while that party ate until they were finished and left. Once they left, the hostesses sat two groups of people in that spot that came in 30 minutes after us! We asked them about it and they said "oops the hostess made a mistake" no apology, no trying to figure it out. Guess it's a "your screwed" kinda thing at this place. We left, never going back. read more

Great service, food and atmosphere. Get on the waitlist via Yelp before you head down on the weekends!! Good food draws a crowd!!

Easily accessed, super friendly staff, very clean. Food came really fast and I understood why when I tasted it. The hash browns tasted like they were days old and were scraped from the bottom of the oven and plopped on my plate. The eggs Benedict was awful. The sauce had no flavor. The ham was deli ham and heated. The eggs were fine. No seasoning. Chef Ramsey would have tossed it all in the trash. I ate as much as I could because we had just driven for over 1.5 hours . The pix gives you an idea of the presentation. Not likely to come again. read more

Don't burn the omelet and put the cheese inside. Potatoes are awful. Don't call it eggs Benedict unless you use Canadian bacon. Get some functional salt and pepper shakers. Overpriced and mediocre at best read more

This place is fab! Decorated super cute friendly staff (looking at you Maria!) and awesome food. They even have a bar! We sat on the patio with misters and fans it was a great way to start enjoying fall! I definitely recommend this awesome new spot! read more

This is my family's favorite breakfast spot, and we live in Goodyear. The kids beg to come here. Excellent service, delicious food, great cocktails! read more

10/10!!!! Loved it. The restaurant itself is so cute. Servers are so sweet and nice. But the food alone was amazing!!! Did a build your own scramble and it did not disappoint. Fiancé had the apple cobbler waffle (called something else but you get the idea haha) and it was to die for! Bloody Mary was so yummy, bacon was not fresh but drink made up for it. The alcoholic peanut butter espresso drink was also very yummy. Will be coming back! Note: there was a 25-30 minute wait but we'll worth it for a popular breakfast spot with great food! read more

Had breakfast here this morning. One of the best i've ever had. The chicken and waffles were phenomenal. Major credits to the chef. The mimosa flight along with their many different options was incredible. I will definitely be going back!! read more

Excellent food and plenty of it. Didn't like the previous restaurant but you have to try this one. They do everything right.

Always behind on drinks and they struggle to get orders correct with everything listed in the menu. Great people and great food, however: getting food well before basic drink orders for coffee or mimosas is a drag. If it happens for a third time in a row when I go next, I'll probably start going elsewhere... read more

Love everything we've had here. I've gotten the breakfast burrito multiple times, and it never comes with the side of potatoes that it says on the menu... I always have to ask for it. read more

Sunshine Breakfast Bar - White chocolate mocha and cranberry mimosa - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Best bacon ever! Service was great. Potatoes are preseasoned so if you have allergies to pepper or just don't like it you are sol for any type of potatoes. Ordered my eggs over-medium and they were barely over-easy. I got egg-white soup. I told the manager about this but he seemed indifferent since I told him I would eat them anyway. (He could have comped me a couple bucks for not having him make 3 new eggs, but no gesture to that effect.) $48 for a meal my wife didn't get to enjoy. (I enjoyed it, but would have preferred my wife enjoy it than me.) So, three stars and can't go back because they preseason their potatoes. So that sucks. read more

Online order for pick up Online ordering was easy and order affirmation came quickly via text. Arrived to pickup on time, ( pick up designated parking 1 spot only not easy to find) alerted restauranr that I had arrived via text message, waited 10 minutes finally had to go inside. Staff was friendly and helpful, order was ready but felt that if they were advertising curbside then I shouldn't have had to go inside. I had ordered advo advocado toast and 1 slice of brioche French toast. Advocado toast was as described and tasty but the French toast said it came with blueberries, strawberries, whipped cream, etc but all I recieved was a plain piece of French toast with syrup and butter on the side. Not sure if I will be ordering from this restaurant again. read more

Really pleasant outdoor seating, and the best waiter: friendly and helpful, not shmoozy. Party of five served quickly, especially after calling in our place in line. My Benedict Florentine was perfect, and that side of bacon was perfect. Good coffee, and waiter understood when some wanted constant warm-ups, and others wanted to enjoy the peak temp and cream&sugar ratio. It was a great way to start our Scottsdale weekend. read more

What a genuine pleasure being present today in a very positive energy environment! Shawn, the kind lady manager made me feel right at home. She is an amazing human being and has a special gift of connecting with people. The Bloody Mary drink is the Best I have ever had since Pat O'Brians in New Orleans, Louisiana. The food is exceptional along with the staff of amazing servers. The atmosphere is very positive, upbeat, and chill! I totally recommend Sunshine Cafe! Also, Kind Shawn gave us a free cinnamon roll on her! Ready for this ~ the texture and taste reminds me of King Cakes from New Orleans! (Lyrics - Flo-Rida - Low) Shawty, had them Avocado Toast Booze with the Juice The whole cafe was a Breakfast/Brunch place We hit the spot Next thing you know Surely went to Yolk, Yolk, Yolk, Yolk, Yolk, Yolk, Yolk Them sweet cream pancakes and the omelets's with the strips They turned around and made that mimosa a flight We hit the spot Next thing you know Surely went to Yolk, Yolk, Yolk, Yolk, Yolk, Yolk, Yolk Yolk Café is a fresh and new breakfast/brunch bar on the North side of Phoenix; a much welcomed spot just off Cave Creek & the 101. There doesn't seem to be much development around the area for such a place because Yolk Café is definitely a little gem and must visit if you're close by. I came with my workout group and boy were we famished! We started with some adult libations and they definitely had a plethora of fun concoctions! I'm pretty basic so I shot for a beer; boring! As for the food, I was quite impressed with the selections, not just with the shear amount, but it was playful. I mean Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Caramel Apple Cobbler Waffles, and Almond Croissant French Toast; just doesn't seem like North Phoenix anymore! I'm not trying to knock on North Phoenix, but I'm used to this stuff off Scottsdale or Central Phoenix. Moreover, I needed some pancakes so I ordered the Blueberry Granola Pancakes with a side of Chicken Sausage. The pancake size was about 10in diameters and was made with sweet cream and infused with blueberries and granola, along with being topped with blueberries and granola. I loved it! The juicy blueberries in every bite accompanied the sweetness of the pancakes, while the granola provided some crunchy texture. I'm glad I added the Chicken Sausage, which was cooked to perfection, because it alleviated my protein-starved body for that meal. In the end, Yolk Café invigorated my palates to brunch again after a long layoff. There was a time I felt brunch was getting boring because everyone was serving cocktails and pancakes, but Yolk Café showed me something new. The place is quaint with a spacious feel, but can handle large crowds if needed. Service was rocking and didn't skip a beat. They were helpful in my selection and seemed knowledgeable about their menu on the fly! - Enjoy! read more

Wait wasn't too bad, we did waiting list and was able to put our name in early. The place is very cute and has a good atmosphere, but the music was extremely loud and the music choice was a mix of 90's alternative and EDM. Very strange. Coffee was a bust. They do have "Special" drinks, but they don't have skim or nonfat. Only almond or Whole milk. For a breakfast place that makes specialty coffee you'd think they'd have all forms of milk available. Food was mediocre. Wife ordered french toast and they came out cold. She also ordered a side of bacon, and it was undercooked. I ordered the chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs. The eggs were dry and over cooked, the chicken fried steak was frozen and flashed fried, which resulted in a tough experience. The gravy was 6 out of 10. In all honesty I would rank them with Cracker Barrel on quality. Overall it's an okay spot and way better than the previous place that it took over. But we won't be back. Lots of other places that have better quality food. read more

Soo excited this finally opened (we had been anxiously waiting since the old place closed) - wow, worth the wait!! The interior is completely flipped and so cute (as in it looks like a HGTV flipping show came in.) We came in for breakfast on a Monday and were pleasantly surprised by all aspects: service (friendly and the right amount of check-ins), drinks (bloody mary & latte) and food (classic benedict & custom omelette). There's a decent size dog-friendly patio that will be amazing once the temperatures cool down. We'll be back...often! read more

I usually don't leave reviews but I am still thinking about that Steak Benedict 10 hours later. That is all.

Enjoy getting breakfast every once in awhile. Not an early riser so this place is perfect. You can get breakfast until it closes at 2:00. Decor was very cute. They are "Hello Sunshine" everywhere as decor and uniform. Honestly that would be rest name for the place but then it wouldn't tell you that it's a breakfast joint. I had the All American with seeded wheat toast. Bacon was thick and cooked perfectly, a lil limp is how I like it. Potatoes were thinly sliced which I never had it that way but now my new preference. Very tasty. Oh snd the strawberry jelly...must be homemade...oh so good. I would buy it if they sold in jar. My husband had chicken fried steak that he enjoyed cuz there was not a trace of it on his plate. Staff were friendly and on the ball. Best team work ever. You will have different ppl tending to your needs during your dining. Very impressive indeed. Sorry forgot to take pic. We will be going back and probably get the same items. read more
