They quoted us a wait time of 15 minutes when it's an hour is horrible customer service. I understand some variation but after 20 minutes of waiting, I asked how much longer and we were told another 30-40 minutes. Please be respectful and upfront. read more

Our plan was to go to our usual place for breakfast but they were closed for maintenance. We decided to try Sunshine and we are very happy we did! I felt very relaxed and comfortable here. We tried the classic eggs Benedict and American classic breakfast. Both were excellent! Our waitress Raya was such a sweetheart and made the experience better. My fiancé mentioned to her it was my birthday and she brought out the best cinnamon roll I've ever had and made me feel special. Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back! read more

I absolutely adore this gem of a restaurant! It was recommended to us by the staff at the Marriott Resort and was exactly what we were looking for! The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice and cozy! The owner was so beyond kind and welcoming! It's the place I'll go back to every time I go back to Arizona. read more

This was my 2nd outing here I advise to reserve before you go on waitlist as this is a popular breakfast place. Service was fast and efficient I had the lemon ricotta pancakes which were so delicious definitely recommend read more

This is our go to breakfast place. The owner and servers are always friendly. They always accommodate my food allergies and I have never had to worry about getting sick. The wait to get seated on the weekends can be long but you can call ahead. read more

Amazing food and service every time we go. So glad this is our neighborhood breakfast place!

Breakfast is always amazing but I would hold off from saying lunch is anything remotely good. Great brunch drinks and always good service

We've gone there so many times, and every time it's amazing and the food is fantastic... The wait is sometimes be a deterrent... But the food is worth it, and the service and waitstaff are always amazing and helpful read more

We waited for 1.30 hrs to be checked in on a weekend, but the wait was worth it. The waitress was extremely caring and went above and beyond to get us what we needed. The food was tasty and the quantity was good. It was obviously crowded for a reason read more

This is the only picture I took of my lemon ricotta pancakes because they were SO GOOD I just devoured it. My husband got their fried steak and it also tasted very good!!!! The pancakes were crispy on the edges and nice and gooey in the middle. TO DIE FOR! We both got caramel lattes and they were also very good! Very happy with this new breakfast place :) we will definitely be coming back regularly. read more

Portion sizes are pretty decent size. Fairly priced. Fast quick service. It's pretty busy so add yourself to the waitlist prior to getting there and then check in. We've gone two weekends in row. So good! read more

Service and food was excellent. A bit of a wait but they do a waiting list and so worth the wait

This place is open and airy with plenty of breakfast and lunch offerings. My favorite part is that they are dog friendly with an outdoor patio. Kudos for posting rules for pet owners. Cafe is easily accessible from 101 freeway, plenty of parking and online reservations via Yelp. Staff is cheerful and friendly. House coffee is tasty and full of flavor...none of that brown water stuff. ;) They have mimosa flights and a handful choice of pancakes, omelets but a tad short on their eggs benedict. My only gripe is the toast or muffins as they can be soggy perhaps due to pre-toasting before breakfast rush. Maybe one day I can try their blueberry bacon pancakes?!?!! They also have a fun selection of breakfast cocktails and their bloody mary looks delightful! Place is perfect for casual breakfast/brunch for groups, getting together with friends/family, celebrating with loved ones or expanding your mimosa horizons. They also have a bar for those dining solo or for two. read more

The weather was perfect for sitting on the patio and the atmosphere was calm. They got me a dirty chai which was absolutely perfect. The eggs benedict was great and the Hollandaise sauce was nicely made and agreed with me well ( because sometimes if it's not fresh it can hurt my tummy!) The potatoes were really delicious and just nicely spiced but not too overdone. The only thing that wasn't perfect is that my dog had just got back from the Pet Urgent Care next door, so I didn't bring her out on the patio as she wasn't feeling well....But it's a nice dog-friendly patio to bring a dog sometime. read more

After seeing another review for Yolk I was excited to try a new breakfast restaurant.. it did not disappoint, however it did not knock my socks off, the home style potatoes were okay, but left me needing them to be cut thicker and have a little more flavor, but everything I had was pretty darn yummy! I halved the steak Benedict, and veggie omelette with my daughter in law, and we both had the signature Bloody Mary, it was a little spicy, but not overly spicy. It was garnished with a piece of bacon and green olives. We also had to try the coffee, I mean what's breakfast without coffee, anyway? It was fresh and HOT! A perfect cup of joe. The service was outstanding! Seriously, I witnessed several regulars coming in, and the staff greeting them by their first names. I thought that was very personable! I would definitely return to this clean, and friendly restaurant in a heart beat! They also have a nice size outdoor patio to enjoy your breakfast or lunch! read more

First time eating inside and the atmosphere was great. I was missing WNBA game they were gracious to put it on for me. The service is always top tier as always. The food was delicious no complaints. read more

First time trying this place, and I'm impressed! The service was excellent and the food tasty. Their potatoes are like the Midwestern fried potatoes I had as a kid, but they have some sort of seasoning on them that is REALLY good! The rest of the food was all very tasty too. Try it, you'll like it! read more

Delicious food and a great spot! Servers are always friendly! The food is always fresh and tasty.

The absolute best! Amazing customer service, incredible food, great atmosphere, everything you could ask for!

We come here all the time and always love the food, upbeat atmosphere and friendly service.

My order was wrong, not once, but twice. Finally got my food and tasted and smelled rancid. Obviously my husband was done eating by that time so I ate nothing. Went home hungry. Manager could have picked up my husband's breakfast but not even that. Terrible customer service. I have no idea why this place is busy. read more

We live just up the street and come here at least once a month since they opened up around when COVID here. By far the best breakfast we've found here in North Phoenix! My fiancée loves their Avocado Toast and I love their pancakes, they have a nice sweet taste to them with crispy edges - they're soooo good. Give this place a chance if you're looking for some quality breakfast! read more

I love this place but so do a lot of people as evidenced by the sometimes long wait but so worth waiting for! Once you are seated service and food are spot on!!! I like the option of being able to check for a wait on Yelp & adding my name to the list as I am on my way! I love the Greek scramble, Greek avocado toast and a short stack of lemon ricotta pancakes ( if I'm feeling like I wanna splurge) They also have a flights of mimosas, lattes & tasty mixed drinks, try the coconut mojito! read more

This was our first time to experience the Sunshine Breakfast Bar. It was exceptionally good! It was very busy on Sunday but we were lucky and scored two seats at the bar. We were fortunate to have Ava to serve us! She was very friendly and is an excellent bartender with impeccable service! Ava suggested the signature Bloody Mary and they were fabulous. The cocktails looked so good it was a tough decision. The Blueberry Pancakes & omelet were excellent. The Manager was gracious to visit with us as well! Can not wait until next weekend to enjoy a delectable experience! I would highly recommend! read more

READ ME!! BUILDING: clean, open, great lighting, proper covid precautions, comfy chairs, great outdoor seating, FULL BAR!!... and the bathrooms outclassed some 5 star hotels I've been to. SERVICE: outstanding. Some servers know my wife and i by name and we've only been here 3 times. My coffee cup was struggling to even get below half before someone would cheerfully offer a refill, i received updates on the status of my food even though it wasn't late, plates were cleared quickly, manager stopped by to check up, i saw booster chairs, and happy staff. I even saw a bartender closely inspecting garnishes before putting them into drinks. Way to go! FOOD: im convinced some 5 star chefs retired and now cook in the back for fun. Bacon is thick, eggs are flawless, french toast is fresh everyday and tastes like it too, coffee is on point, and they have more fake sugars then you can shake a sweet n low at This is my new Sunday morning home. read more

Food was FRESH and pancakes absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Loved the thick cut bacon too!!! Server was super nice! They were quite busy and parking lots is crazy packed but food still came out pretty quickly and piping hot. The server did forget one of my items but it was no biggie. She was apologetic and offered to fix it right away. I declined as I already had enough food and by the time they cooked it then so would've been done with my meal but I appreciated her honesty and taking responsibility instead of blaming it on the kitchen staff or just disappearing and coming back minutes later with the food. Much appreciated! read more

I was beyond impressed with this cute little place!!!! We ordered an insane amount of food, I even commented on how happy I was that we had a large enough table for all the food we ordered I can say that my mother is an extremely harsh critic and she's hard to impress so when she couldn't stop talking about how blown away she was with every single item we ordered it made me even more impressed! I loved everything about this place, the environment is amazing and upbeat, super clean and every single thing we ordered was legitimately mouth watering delicious. read more

Excellent in every aspect! The new decor, wonderful coffee, great food and kind hospitality are perfect!

Great atmosphere, always such a cheerful staff providing great service and the food never disappoints!

Very delicious food. Will definitely be coming back. I built my your own omelet Egg whites, mushrooms, bacon, onions, bell pepper, Monterey jack cheese blend & Avocado on top Vanilla latte. read more

The food and service are good here but I just can't get past the prices. Took my son there for breakfast this morning and his two pieces of french toast, two pieces of bacon, and a cup of coffee were a whopping $21.27! I don't understand why a good restaurant would want to deter people like this. Really makes you feel taken advantage of. read more

Nothing unusual as far as food choices. Service was poor. Ambiance was ok. There are plenty of better places.
