This is a nice breakfast place to go to if you like outside dining. The morning time in Phoenix is very nice this time of year. We were seated promptly even with what looked like a full house. We got a nice little table on their patio. The server was extremely nice and our food came out quickly. I deducted a star cause the food was okay. Almost comparable to Denny's. It could've be what I ordered though. I will be back to try it one more time. read more

We love this place! My fiancée and I are regulars here and we're always met with friendly service with staff that goes above and beyond to make sure we're happy. One of our favorites is Raya, who never fails to bring such amazing, positive vibes to our brunch. She's so, so sweet and it's easy to see how much she cares about providing the best service. On top of the wonderful service, the food is super yummy and we love that the patio is dog friendly. read more

The quality is definitely in the food but the chef needs a small amount of help. My husband's eggs were over easy versus the requested over medium. His bacon was not crisp as ordered. The toast was exactly as ordered. The spice on the potatoes was not his favorite but I loved the spice and ate them all. I ordered the avocado toast and it was fine just too but balsamic vinegar "drizzled" on the top. The decor was fabulous especially the Christmas bulbs hanging from the ceiling. We will be back. read more

First of all WOW! My sister and I decided the night before to come here for brunch this morning. We've never been here before and thought it looked really yummy. The items here are your typical brunch menu items with a few different takes on the classics. The menu isn't as extensive as other establishments and the restaurant itself is small but that's what I like about it. The wait times aren't too bad because the turnaround is relatively fast. They have unique mimosa flavors. We both wanted to try pineberry and dragonfruit and pineberry was my favorite out of the two. I got the chicken fried steak and almond croissant French toast. The chicken fried steak wasn't overly breaded like other places. And the almond croissant French toast was a joy for my eyes and stomach. It was light and airy and the crunch from the almonds was a perfect touch. This option is perfect for someone who doesn't want something too sweet. The food was delicious but the 5 stars really goes to our server Ky! We didn't have to ask for anything like water, utensils, jelly, or coffee or even ask for boxes. He came out of nowhere each time and took initiative. BEST SERVICE WE'VE EVER HAD. We are coming back! read more

It's a breakfast bar! This place is super busy, you can do an online reservation. It's super Clean and welcoming. The workers all seem happy to be working there. They have a bar and you can have flights of your favorite drinks. It's pretty small inside but they get you served quickly. They Also have a really nice covered patio for outside eating. It's loud inside so if your going to visit with someone I'd pick the patio. The food is really good everything has a little twist in flavor. I had the Egg Florentine it was very good. The hollandaise sauce was perfect. We shared a small pancake. The pancake is sweet , almost too sweet. You have to put butter and syrup on it and it truly is the best !!! He had biscuits & gravy, he said they were good. Price was average for breakfast . Great place to go for a quick breakfast especially if you want to drink. It's 5 o'clock somewhere! Not your typical breakfast place. Fun, loud atmosphere . read more

I had a very lovely breakfast on a Saturday morning. It was busy but service was prompt and attentive. I enjoyed the blueberry granola pancakes. I had a side of chicken sausage which was cooked very nicely, usually they are overcooked, dry and tough but these were perfect! They brought my dog a bowl of water and a cookie. This yelp review is hard to put into words; Mostly because the words that come to mind are "WOW, I'm happy." I just moved away from old town Scottsdale and Tempe area and now reside around the corner from Sunshine Breakfast Bar. My dad is in town for the holidays so I offered to treat him to breakfast somewhere. I literally just googled my way here and gave it literally no thought but THANK GOODNESS I did. I had the best waffle -- literally, the best I've ever had. Not to mention the delicious alcoholic peanut butter espresso drink !! & last but not least, an amazingly helpful and down to earth server named Key (Kei?) and my dad was so impressed. Thanks for the well needed advice Key & thanks to all staff who showed us an amazing morning !! read more

Yolk Cafe is a great place to eat, and easily 5-stars when compared to standard breakfast places. The food quality is excellent and very well-presented. I decided to ask for a custom changeup of the Greek Omelette, adding a single lemon ricotta pancake. Everything came out hot and fresh. The omelette was cooked to perfection, and the scattering of ingredients was very nicely done. The potatoes were cooked slightly too crispy and were more salty than what I like. The lemon ricotta pancake was a dressed up pancake which gave a pleasant burst of lemon tartness to go along with the sweet drizzle and side of syrup. The atmosphere feels modern and very clean, and the service was excellent. The only reason I give Yolk Cafe four stars is that I believe it's ready for the next evolution of breakfast bistros. Yolk feels like it wants to go beyond serving high-end standard fare with some dress-ups, and I think it should. I'd love to go back and have a choice of something created that you can't find anywhere else: Like a hybrid of a pancake-crepe, cooked German-style dressed with sweet pineapples; or maybe an assortment of marinated sautéed vegetables served in the bed of an open-faced omelette that was flash fried and rolled in cheese at the end of the cooking for a special crust. This restaurant certainly seems to have all the elements to be one of the most special places for breakfast and brunch in the city, but until then it's still up there for some excellent eats. read more

Highly recommended! The food, the ambiance, the service! All 5 stars. This is a must try if you are in the area, and want a delicious breakfast. My wife says the Bloody Mary was really good also. Here is a rundown of what we had.... 1. Cinnamon Roll French Toast - 5/5 my daughter had this, she has a sweet tooth. To say she loved it would be an understatement. 2. Country Benedict - 5/5 my other daughter and I each had this. We had leftovers. It was big, delicious, and makes me wish I lived closer to this place! 3. Bloody Mary - 4/5 my wife had this and liked it a lot, she is somewhat of a Bloody Mary aficionado, so four stars is high praise from her. She also had the lemon ricotta pancakes 5/5. You will not be disappointed with anything you order here, watching other orders get delivered, and everything looked incredible. I live 50 miles away, and really wish it wasn't that far. read more

The French toast is Thick-cut and caramelized on the edges, without being overly sugary. Great Group Dining Experience, But Reservations Are Highly Recommended…read more I recently visited Brunch Snob with my fitness group after our weekend session. For anyone planning a visit, please be aware that the wait times can be significant if you do not have a prior reservation. Fortunately, our large party of over 10 guests was able to utilize an indoor corner space to wait comfortably until our table was ready. Once we were seated, the service was excellent. The staff was incredibly patient and attentive while managing a table of our size. The food and beverage options were generally well-received, though there were a few minor details to note. One guest mentioned that the options for mimosa flights were somewhat limited. On the food side, my order of the Mexican Cowboy Bowl was excellent and prepared exactly as expected. While most of our group's orders were correct, one eggs Benedict arrived overcooked despite a specific request during ordering to avoid this. Given the size of our party, the guest chose to accept the dish rather than send it back. Billing Tip: For transparency, an automatic 20% gratuity was included in the final bill for our large group. I recommend double-checking your receipt to keep this in mind before adding any additional tips. Overall, it is a great brunch destination with quality dishes, but making a reservation ahead of time is highly advisable.

The interior is pretty long with a large number of seating inside the building so we had no trouble getting seated right away by the hostess. We decided on food relatively quickly due to previous experience with the business, however, our waiter never came around to take our orders or even give us water at the table. We saw one girl with dyed hair who unassumingly could have been our waiter since she was in our section but only worked with one particular table and ran to the back after each time, but never addressed our table or came by. We eventually had to flag a different waiter down who was able to help us place the order and service us for the rest of our visit, she also informed us that this other "Waiter" was supposed to help us but she wasn't sure why she never made an attempt to do so after having us wait 20 mins and other tables were being serviced. We ordered Flordian French Toast and Elote Breakfast Burrito (plus a couple sides and drink) which were both really good, and filling. Prices weren't too bad for what we ordered and was able to take our mind off of the rather long wait to get helped. Not sure if we'll come back to this particular location again, but it was nice trying the restaurant out another time.

I came here for a breakfast date with a friend. They have a decent size parking lot. Upon entering, there is a great outdoor space with tons of tables, many with shade. Your order at a counter inside. I got Chilaquiles and a matcha, and my friend got a burger. Unfortunately my chilaquiles were the worse I've ever had! It seemed like store bought chips with sauce thrown on top, not fried in sauce at all. And the menu describes it as having pulled pork but these were chunks of meat. The provolone on top was a slice melted, no shredded cheese. It just didn't hit. My Mexican friend said the sauce wasn't very good either, I thought it was okay. I didn't even eat half of my meal. I will say, his burger was very delicious. Super juicy, and fries were cooked well. I thoroughly enjoyed my matcha as well. The chilaquiles were just so bad that I can't give a higher rating at this time. Since the burger was so good, I'd love to see what the other dishes taste like.

Title: A Breakfast Gem with Friendly Staff and Heavenly Chai Lattes! 5 out of 5 stars If you're searching for a delightful breakfast spot with outstanding service, look no further! The Breakfast Bar has captured my heart with their warm hospitality and scrumptious offerings. From the moment I stepped in, the staff greeted me with genuine smiles and made me feel right at home. Their attentiveness and friendliness truly set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh boy, their Eggs Benedict were out of this world! The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, and the hollandaise sauce was rich and velvety. I couldn't help but savor every bite. It's evident that the kitchen takes great pride in preparing top-notch dishes. But the real star of the show was their Chai Latte. I consider myself a chai enthusiast, and their version is a dream come true. The balance of spices was spot-on, and the steamed milk added a lovely creaminess. It was so good that I couldn't resist ordering a second cup! The cozy ambiance and charming decor added to the overall charm of this gem. It's a place where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a peaceful morning. Whether you're a local looking for a regular breakfast spot or a traveler passing through town, I highly recommend The Breakfast Bar. Their friendly staff, great Egg Benedict, and amazing Chai Latte make it a must-visit destination for breakfast lovers. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delectable menu. Bon appétit! read more

Sometimes it absolutely amazes me what people will complain about. Some girl that posted was offended and felt she was being profiled as a bilingual hispanic, and persecuted because she was overcharged on a minimum party gratuity because one person didn't show? Jesus, are you kidding me. This person that posted the review, who's name begins with an "A", compliments the food as excellent, but the service was bad ? Seriously stop, just stop ! You have no idea what you are talking about, not a clue. Every single server that works there is outstanding, and nobody attends that restaurant more than I do, so yes, I have the right to say what is not an opinion, but a fact, period. Jodie, Nathan, Key, Tonya, Ava, Bree, Raya, Julie, Lexie, Arlo, and several more work their tails off to please every single person that walks in to eat. These are not servers, they are family, so do me a favor ? Don't say anything to criticize this group of extraordinary people. If you were really in the service industry, you should understand how hard waiting tables on people who complain over nothing is, or others that try to play the race card when it is not applicable. The best thing to be done here is to take that post down, it is absolutely erroneous and an unfair judgement of people who work so hard and do nothing but show others kindness, and sometimes to others that dont even deserve it. The food and service is outstanding, end of story! Please be kind, dont be cruel or fabricate to fit your feelings, thank you, J read more

The wait time was not bad, considering the busy weekend rush, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I would give the wait time a 4.5 out of 5. As for the food, I tried the caramel latte and orange juice which were both delicious and refreshing. However, the banana pecan pancakes were not quite to my taste, so I would suggest trying the French toast instead. The croissant was good and definitely worth a try. The service was efficient and friendly, though at times it felt a bit rushed. The prices were reasonable and fair, given the quality and variety of food and drinks offered. Overall, I would rate my experience at Sunshine Breakfast Bar as 4 out of 5. I would recommend giving it a try and would definitely come back for more. read more

I recently visited Sunshine Breakfast Bar and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly service. Kids got the fresh squeezed orange juice (lot of pulp), and a strawberry banana smoothie that didn't taste like real fruit though the menu stated it, and had a weird texture that coats the throat. Breakfast: Kids had the scrambled eggs which were reminiscent of the ones found at a hotel continental breakfast; wet and unnatural tasting. Apple Cinnamon Pancakes looked unappealing and tasted just as disappointing - regular pancakes with what looked like a can of apple pie filling dumped unceremoniously on top. Banana Cream Pancakes had decent banana slices but the "cream" was an odd glaze that had a chalky aftertaste. They do not take reservations so be aware that if you're hungry, you may want to try elsewhere. I imagine during the lunch hour, there could be a wait, I had limited time before I had to leave. We both got their donut of the day. It was a PB&J donut. What a beautiful presentation of a donut; clearly it was elevated. I was thinking about a donut on a plate. The donut is topped with whipped cream, nuts and strawberry slices. The donut was pretty good. Somewhat sweet and super fresh. Each day they make a different donut. They close early at 2pm. If you want to try this place, make your plan to arrive before closure. There is a very small shared parking lot. If the lot is full, there is dirt parking on the side of the building.

We both ordered the Belgian waffle with a side of bacon. Everything was very tasty, and the bacon comes with four slices--always a win in my book! The prices are very reasonable, too. Great food, great service, and that comfortable neighborhood-diner feel. First visit, but it definitely won't be our last!
