We are here for the first time as a party of 4 at 10am. We had a reservation, and we were seated quickly. The restaurant is bigger on the inside than I thought and also very modern. Service was great and attentive, with good recommendations. I tried a mimosa with their nonalcoholic prosecco and it was very good. They served a full glass of the prosecco with orange juice on the side so you could add as much orange juice as you desire. The orange juice was fresh also and not very sweet. I had the SHU stack with bacon. The pancakes were very yummy and crispy on the edges which was a great textural element. The butter was their specialty smoked vanilla butter. It was good, but the sweet butter with the syrup and pancakes was a bit too sweet for me. The syrup was also overly sweet and a bit artificial tasting, real maple syrup would really elevate this dish. The bacon was cooked perfectly however. My husband had the lobster eggs Benedict, and it was incredible! The flavor was delicious, not too much like seafood. The eggs were perfect too! I enjoyed the grilled chicken and potatoes the most. The salsa they brought on the side for my eggs was good. Server took a while to take our payment. They sat us fairly quickly, very clean, nice staff. The flight mimosas were yummy but if you are going with a group just get the bottle. Tables are relatively small for two people, almost dropped our food. We did notice the groups after us getting their food quickly (including their drinks, appetizers, and meals) , it took us more than 40 minutes to get our food (time stamp on photos). What a great place! They have done a great job remodeling the Lamp Liter. The ambiance inside is perfect. The food and drinks are really good also! We had the avocado toast, churro French toast and the chiliquiles. The avocado toast lacked a lot of flavor. The tomatoes were flavorless (would expect heirloom) and the avocado was truly just a spread. The arugula also needed tome type of acid based dressing. The French toast was PERFECT. So good. Great new brunch spot for Visalia! Excellent service in a fun vibrant setting. We went for my mom's 65th birthday, 12 people total made a reservation a few days in advance with no issues. Chorizo nachos were good, however the beef machaca chilaquiles were very poor. We asked our waiter, Veronica, for a courtesy side of fresh chips the only time she came to our table but declined. The chicken in the Chicken and waffles was also very soggy due to it being drenched in salsa, so order it on the side. Food overall was okay. Had my first brunch experience today here! I got 2 drinks: a French 75 (my favorite) and a Hound something (I can't recall the name). A French 75 comes without ice, and with champagne: which should be chilled. My drink was barely cool; but I think they are just going through so much champagne that they don't have time to let it chill long enough before it has to be served again. The taste and flavor was still perfect, but would have been better cold and crisp. The Hound cocktail was delicious and super refreshing! For my meal I opted for the Biscuits and Gravy, as it was noted as being a popular choice. It's on the menu as biscuits and sausage gravy with 2 eggs any style. My food was served on a warm plate, but the food itself was room temperature (not even warm). The biscuits were pretty dry and crumbled when I cut into them with my fork. The flavor was there, just not the moisture. The gravy's flavor was also very good, but it should be noted that this is gravy with pieces of cut up sausage links (about 4-5 pieces which can be seen in the photo) in it, and NOT ground sausage mixed in. My eggs were cooked as I'd asked them to be, but not too warm. I also got a side of fruit, and the quality of the fruit was great! The only downside was they served it in a hot bowl that had probably just come from the dishwasher, so it warmed up my fruit. Our waitress, Andrea, was amazing and super helpful, personable, and sweet! She seemed to have a lot on her plate, so to speak, as she seemed to be working MANY tables, and it was very busy. The style of the restaurant is super nice, and I loved the decor. I love that it's vintage and somehow modern at the same time. They had music playing and it seemed like a fun spot to be at! I think once they work out the kinks and find their footing, and hopefully get more staff to help with tables so the existing staff isn't stretched so thin, food and drinks will arrive to the tables more quickly and this will be a great spot! Server checked on us once after I wanted another drink but by the time she came food was already finished. And we think our waitress was loaded af. I have been here three times now without any issues or reservations...I don't think the one stars are very fair to what I've experienced. This is not the typical breakfast spot but has some of the go too's. It is definitely what this area needed..giving that so cal feel. Ambiance is very nice, food has not disappointed and all different servers we had each time where very nice and attentive. This last time we came in it was packed! Said it would be an hour wait but was only 20 min tops (maybe work on the wait times). They had fun birthday parties at tables and our service was still on point. The newly remodeled ambiance is beautiful and upscale but the food is just ok and very overpriced for what is served. I found my breakfast burrito was no better than any chain restaurant and my wife said the same about her mini pancakes with 5 whole blueberries. My food was delicious and filling, which was the weekend special carbonara. The other warm dish was the breakfast tacos. Also good! The chicken and waffles and the SHU stack came out cold, unfortunately. The restaurant itself is pretty, the music great, and the air blasting, but the trendiness does not make up for the initially poor service and cold food :/ I hope to try them again once they get more established, but I can't see myself paying their prices again for the experience we had. read more

So I went a second time today to see if things changed but it seems that it's the same as when it first opened. Today I did a walk in for one person. Was told 30 minutes but it was more like an hour to sit at the bar. After being seated I ordered a drink. I was waiting for the drink for 30 minutes until they asked me if I wanted to order again. I repeated my order and they realized it was at the other side of the bar. Lastly it took about an hour before I received my food. I ended up seeing this brunch place on TikTok & I thought why not try it out?! It's cute! I went in really excited with high hopes and came out disappointed with the service mostly! We waited for almost 40 mins to get seated & they ended up giving us a table with high seats and it didn't accommodate my little who needed a high chair so I asked to be moved to another table. We were then given the option to wait for that table or a smaller table & we were really hangry by then so we opted for the smaller table of course. Our server came by with water which I didn't know was our server because she didn't introduce herself whatsoever. She just brought us our water and dipped. We then waited for another 10 mins because we were ready to order by all the waiting time. We asked the host who our server was because we were ready. She came back & asked "You guys had a question??" almost with an ugly attitude & very condescending. In which I answered, "Yes I was just asking where our server was because we are ready to order." She then took our order & left. After that she really only checked on us once. We had to ask other servers/runners for anything extra. As for the the food we had the breakfast tacos & they were delicious! My only complaint would be the portions are so little for what's being paid. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt because they are fairly new. It was really the service & server that made this experience disappointing. I would suggest reserving & being really clear that you need a table that requires a high chair.
