This place is so cute and such a fun vibe - trendy and fun but not too loud. We were seated pretty promptly with a reservation. The waitstaff were all incredibly attentive and friendly. The drinks and food were all wonderful; my only complaint (albeit very minor) was the syrup. Such a trivial element, but it made the food super annoying to eat. The syrup was the thickest substance I have ever seen in my life. It doesn't pour and you can't even dip your fork in it without lifting the whole saucer when you pull your fork away. When I did manage to get some on my fork, I had to wrap and wrap and wrap my fork around my food until the stringy-ness subsided. When we were ask how many we said 2 and receptionist who walk past 3 times finally said ..do you have a reservation we said no.. and she said there booked for the whole day ...on Sunday morning.. really?? STELLAR service.!! Everything was 10/10, from the food down to the ambiance and personnel. We found the restaurant on yelp and realized we hadn't eaten here yet. Mind you we came from a masseuse appointment. Therefore we weren't dress the part for brunch. However, we greeted so kindly.! We didn't have a reservation and the restaurant seemed packed, we were told to wait for a few minutes while they looked for a table. Literally - a few minutes later and we were being escorted to a table. (The waiting area was lovely and very comfortable, we wouldn't have minded waiting longer if need be.) the servers were also very accommodating towards my kids, by offering plastic cups and the high chair. Since all their cups are glass. I cannot talk it up more, the restaurant itself is beautiful. The tables and chairs and very comfortable, such a classy place while still feeling homey. The food was Magnificent.! I had the breakfast tacos, which were about $18. Pricey, yes. But the environment makes it even tastier.! Those were some of the most delicious breakfast tacos I've had. The potatoes were perfect.!! The seasoning on them was meticulous, making the bite of the potatoes even taste like a delicacy. All in all, we had 2 breakfast tacos servings, one of the mini pancakes and the little plate of breakfast for my son, and a cup of coffee and the check was $62. The place was impeccable and the service there was like I said before, STELLAR.!! I will definitely be back.! Next time for a girls brunch and tasting their mimosas. Our first time there. Pretty place very open and extremely Sunny! . We sat with the sun bouncing off the white brick wall which was a little blinding. The food was great and some in my group are extreme foodies and they were very impressed. Fries were amazing. Waffles were light and fluffy! Chorizo nachos were sooo good and definitely shareable. Foxtini and Espresso Martini were delicious. Our server was ok. He was busy and didn't check on us , like is everyone ok? Or for coffee refills, we had to ask for it. Then he forgot the creamer so we had to wait to see him come around and ask again. There should be more options for cream and sugar. Not just French Vanilla or Hazelnut. And you only get 2! For tips sake, being a little more attentive is key to happy customers. Also we were seated at a high top table which was uncomfortable for two in our party due to both having knee replacements. And the chairs were too high compared to the table so our knees were practically touching the bottom of the table. If you don't like high tops request a low table! These are all fixable complaints! A Much-Needed Gem in Visalia This is a great little spot here in Visalia--something the city has truly needed for a long time. We ordered the breakfast burger with a side salad (no fries) and the honey-cured steak. The burger was cooked perfectly, and the flavor was amazing--definitely a highlight. The salad, unfortunately, came out with no dressing, which was a bit of a letdown. We had to ask for it, and it took a while to arrive. As for the steak, it came sliced and cooked just the way I requested. There was also a small portion of butter on the side--I'm not exactly sure what it was, but it had a honey-spicy-smoky flavor that was absolutely incredible. Honestly, that butter might have been one of the best parts of the dish. The place is still new, and it shows a bit in the service. Staff seemed a little inexperienced. We ordered drinks which took about 10 minutes to arrive, My wife ordered a "Ranch Water" and I a "Smash". The "Ranch Water" came in a Topo Chico bottle, which is a cute idea and a unique way to serve it, however a glass should have come with drink if you don't want to drink out of the bottle and or a straw provided. When we asked our server for a straw for our water, it never came. We ended up asking someone else, who thankfully brought them, but our server never followed up on it. Similarly, when we asked for the salad dressing, we had to wait a couple of minutes again. These are small things, but they add up and can affect the overall experience. The waiting area could also use some improvement. I made a reservation for 12, I arrived maybe 5 minutes early and I was seated at 12:30. I understand waiting a few minutes which seems to be the norm at other establishments that we frequent, but a 30 min wait when I had a reservation is unacceptable. I understand if I walked In without a reservation. Also, rather than just telling us to have a seat, it would have been more welcoming if someone had suggested grabbing a drink at the bar while we waited. We were curious about the bar, but we never made it over there. Despite these hiccups, the food was absolutely worth it. This place has real potential, and I genuinely hope they work out the service kinks, because Visalia needs a place like this. We'll definitely be back to try more off the menu! read more

Let me start off by saying this place looks lovely. I can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the design of the place and paid attention to the details. The design of the actual restaurant is gorgeous and the details like the menu design and whatnot is a really nice touch. I was really excited to try it out based off of the social media attention it had received. I will not be going back. Let me tell you why. First of all, I'm a pescatarian, meaning I'm a vegetarian who also eats fish. I always check the menu first to make sure there is something I can order. I identified an item that would work for me as we were waiting. We got our table and looked over the menu. As we were about to order, our server let us know they did not have the ingredients available to make the dish. I asked for a little more time to look over the menu and mentioned my dietary needs. There was just not really anything that was on the menu that worked for me, but I thought avocado toast would be safe. That's what I ended up ordering. After about a 25 minute wait our food arrived and we started eating. Unfortunately I didn't catch that the avocado toast had meat in it. I have never had or even seen avocado toast which that was the case so I didn't notice it on the menu. Luckily they were able to make me an order that didn't have that ingredient. Which took additional time. I'm a little disappointed my server who I told my dietary needs didn't mention there was meat in the dish I ordered. Finally, once we were given our check, we waited about 20 minutes for someone to take our payment. My wife had to go find someone to take it. That was not a great way to end our meal. The food was fine. Not amazing, especially for the price. I would ask the owners to please evaluate your menu to make it more inclusive to other dietary needs. And just removing an ingredient from a dish is not a great option because I still have to pay for that ingredient even if I'm not ordering it since it's baked into the price. I understand that not every place is for everyone. And at this point this place is not for me. read more

This was our first time here. I've been wanting to try it out since it opened and finally had the opportunity. I should have taken it as a sign when the construction had us drive all around the block to get to it. We were sat down pretty quickly but in the lounge area and the seats were really low and uncomfortable to eat breakfast in. Service was really slow, food came out like warm and chilaquiles were soggy with no flavor and small portion. My husband got the burger and the bun was too small for all the ingredients so it was really messy. He said it was ok, patty had no flavor. I was never offered refill on my orange juice and had to track down my server for the ticket. I gave 2 stars because the place is nice. We will not be back unfortunately read more

My first visit here was about one month ago, and it was a very good experience, indeed. If there was a downside, it would be that the rather upbeat music was a little too loud, but that's the price one pays. This time, the music was still too loud, but things in general were a bit different. Our server was clad in a tight sleeveless tee top, something less than I expect from a decent restaurant. While she was pleasant enough, she looked like she hadn't quite gotten ready for work. To be sure, the service was adequate. Everything about the breakfast was very salty. The salt overpowered the real flavor of the food. Our food came out in two stages, with the primary part of the breakfast delivered about two minutes before the accompanying side. Not a great problem in the grand scheme of things, but a little weird. Overall not bad but not impressive. I had great hopes for this place upon my first visit, and I may give it one more try. The taste was pretty good, but there was probably about 4 oz of soup and the rest was HUGE chunks of potatoes and they did not give you the bread that was taken out to make the bowl. I would say they are on the pricey side for what one gets (except the Chile Verde burrito, it was huge). The suggested tip was 20%, 25%, or 30%....this tip thing is outrageous especially since tips are a percentage of the big increase in food prices. They've already gotten a raise and in my opinion, based on service, it warranted a 15-18% tip. Atmosphere is clean and nice, but very noisy. read more

There should be an "Expect long waits" warning sign on the door. Avoid this place at all costs!! Let's start with the food wait, because that alone deserves its own warning label. We waited over an hour for our food. Not during a rush. Not with any explanation. Just sitting there, watching servers walk past us repeatedly like we were invisible. No updates, no apologies--just silence and indifference. When the food finally showed up, it absolutely was not worth the wait. It seemed like it was microwaved. It was Cold, underwhelming, and wildly overpriced for something that tasted rushed despite taking forever. It's honestly impressive how something can take that long and still feel unfinished. But the real nightmare? Trying to pay. Once the plates were cleared, we were ready to leave--except they apparently forgot that checks are a thing. We waited another 25-30 minutes just to get the bill. At that point it felt less like dining and more like being held hostage. Service was slow, disorganized, and unapologetic the entire time. No urgency, no accountability, no concern that people have lives outside of sitting at this table all day. This place manages to combine terrible service, excessive wait times, and mediocre food into one exhausting experience. If you value your time, go anywhere else. Long food wait, endless wait for the check, zero urgency, zero care. One of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in Visalia--never again. read more

Our waitress was very elusive, she brought our food and my husband asked for hot sauce and she said she would bring it back. Never saw her again until she dropped off the bill. As I was eating my avocado toast which was delicious, I bit into something hard. Yikes, it was about the size of a tooth but it was round and black. I tried to flag someone down but everyone was too busy so we left. We didn't have the best experience, the Chilaquiles were soggy and the taste did not hit. They were recommended to us so 6 people in our group ordered it. Many people left hungry. They took an excessive time for our whole order. Our water was delayed, we ordered coffees and asked for creamer it took up to at least 15-20 minutes for our waitress to bring it out. By then our coffees was lukewarm. We ordered one mimosa that didn't show up till after our food was served, mind you we ordered all the drinks before we even order our food. We asked for napkins and they told us to use our cloth napkin, which was fine, but one of the guest had bad allergies so she had teary eyes and running nose. The waiter said they were short staffed, mind you we had reservations. The issue is that people that arrived after us were being served even left before we could. It got to the point that we started observing to see if the guests were getting at least their drinks late like us. If anything those tables even got their drinks before we even did. Our waiter was not the best. Our experience was unfortunate. The chicken and waffles were good at least. That's the only thing from what we ordered that I recommend. The food was ok. I had bacon and eggs, which were fine, but the toast was barely toasted and the butter came in frozen pats which never melted on the bread. The ice tea tasted like water. Cubed country potatoes were the only choice and ketchup was the only condiment offered for those. This was on July 4 and they were full and didn't know what to do with me because I didn't have a reservation. I don't think they were prepared for the crowd at all. With the crowd it was very noisy and it would have been hard to talk to anyone. I might try it again but it will be awhile and not on a holiday. read more

The place is adorable and clean. When we went to leave, there was a car illegally parked on the curb, preventing our large car from getting out of the spot. This place is fantastic!! Service was stellar and we received our food quickly (especially on a busy opening weekend!) and the food was absolutely fantastic. Visit right away!!! The menu has a mix of elevated classics and creative, soon-to-be classic dishes. Everyone should find something they'll love here. For example, they serve their steak and eggs with an in-house jalapeño infused butter that adds a beautiful heat to the entire dish. They also have breakfast nachos, which just feel like a decadent way to start a day (especially if you have a hangover!). The candied bacon was a highlight for me: sweet and peppery at the same time. We aren't in the South, but you'll swear you are when you eat it! The drink menu is also superb, and unlike anything you'll find outside of LA and SF. Fruit Loop Milk Punch brings an element of whimsy to an upscale classic cocktail (and wow, what a labor intensive drink, I bet!!! You can tell that they love what they do!!!) and options like mimosa flights (with orange, guava, and pineapple mimosas) will guarantee this venue as Visalia's premier brunch venue. Drinks and aesthetic are so cute (one star for each) BUT literally got there early with a reservation and pretty much empty and still had the worst service I've ever experienced in my life! Literally tried to get her attention multiple times but she avoided eye contact and moved at the pace of a snail since other tables that got there the same time were in and out in half the time. By the time we got the corrected burrito we were over it because the service and experience was so bad and took it to go but I guarantee they spit in the food so it went in the trash. Only saving grace was the manager came over and comped the meal because it wasn't even eaten but she was not apologetic for the experience. Definitely skip this if trying to go to brunch in Visalia. That wasn't an issue, we were sat in about 10 minutes and it was worth the wait. We had their breakfast sandwich which was incredible. The orange juice was fresh squeezed and the coffee was fresh.
