Pretty good and solid Korean corn dog I always get mozzarella with potatoes. I would definitely recommend and the place is cute inside. Workers are nice read more

I Went there for the first time today no flavor at all on the boba taro drink just to sweet and bland not recommended not coming back again

My little sister and I walked in on a late afternoon, greeted promptly! Cute seating area, received food quickly ordered two Korean corn dogs and let me say it was a lot we had a hard time finishing them. To be honest there wasn't much flavor other than the spicy mayo but maybe just an off day maybe? read more

The service was not good. They girls seemed like they hated their lives and everything we said they sounded annoyed. The corndogs were not good. The popcorn chicken and mochi doughnuts were good. The bobas were way toooo sweet. I don't think I'll be back. The decor was cute & the place was clean. read more

Despite the name, Mochido offers a variety of drinks and Korean food besides mochi donuts. The donuts themselves were a standout although the wait was a drag. Interestingly there was only one employee working when we visited and I watched in amazement as she took orders and prepared everything. Our drinks took 25 minutes to complete and we were the first group in line. *Mochi Donut: there were seasonal flavors and the employee was kind enough to explain the different flavors as the names were a bit abstract. I opted for the spring donut which was white chocolate and matcha. The texture was the best I've tried. Perfectly bouncy in the center with a light exterior. It wasn't too oily nor sweet and the glaze was subtle. Despite the description, I couldn't really differentiate the white chocolate and matcha from a standard glaze. *Spring Fruit Tea: described as a passionfruit and rose tea. Disappointedly, neither flavor was prominent. The tea was steeped well but this was missing some brightness. *Creme Brulee: very sweet but fragrant. This was rich and milky with strong notes of burnt cream. However, we got less sugar for this and it was still too sweet. If there was an option to lower the sugar even more, I would opt for that. The milk based drinks tasted better than the fruit ones. If I was in a rush, I would stick to the donuts but drinks were pretty good if you don't mind the wait. read more

Wen to this Michido for the first time and got a corn dog with half cheese and half sausage, Korean style soy garlic chicken wings, and 4 mochi donuts. I was very surprised by the quality of the Korean style corn dog and chicken wings all made to order! Delicious! I also enjoyed the mochi donuts- they were very squishy and the flavors were all great. The chicken wings took a while to make but it was worth the wait! The boba was on the sweeter side so I may try to lower the sweetness (if possible) next time! The person taking our order was very helpful when we asked questions. The seats were clean and it was very chill! read more

Mochido is a very nicely decorated and welcoming boba shop. I called to place my order ahead and somehow got the number for a different location, but they helped me find the right number. The store was pretty busy, but my drink was almost ready when I arrived. I also ordered a pistachio mochi donut to try. My drink was good, pretty much exactly what I expected. The mochi donut was pretty good. I really liked the texture and chewiness. That said, I was hoping for more pistachio flavor from the glaze. The flavor was quite muted, and I was a little disappointed by that. That said, it was still a nice treat, and I wouldn't hesitate to return to Mochido. It seems like a great place to hang out for a bit, too. read more

Very cute boba and dessert shop. I ordered a strawberry matcha and it was a little too sweet for me. I think if they would've added more ice it would've tasted better. We also tried the taro milk tea and the crème brûlée latte. Both of those tasted really good. Staff was also friendly. read more

This place is absolutely adorable and the menu is huge! You could come here so many times and still not try everything. We stopped in because we were in town visiting and love mochi donuts. We got the 6 daily donuts and an iced mocha with ice cream. Everything was delicious, and fresh. The coffee was good and made to order. I requested the mocha with ice cream instead of the plain iced coffee and they were able to accommodate the request. The service was great, friendly and fast. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely come back if we are in the area again. read more

place was nice and decor was cute, employees seem not to really care about their job, just like to chat and occasionally greet the people coming in. ordered 2 korean corn dogs, one with full cheese and the other half and half, took about 15-20 mins with nobody even inside but us. food came out, immediately tasted like chemical or nylon, could be from the gloves they're using next to the deep fryer, not a fan. their porterville location sucked, now this one isn't that great. won't be coming back read more

The first time I came here the line was moving a little too slow and I had to walk out. I came back two days later with my son and I have to say it was worth the wait! I have been waiting for this place to open and I'm glad I finally got to try it. I recommend following their Instagram page for updates on new flavors and store hours. The staff was nice and very patient with customers. Tried all six flavors they had available that day for mochi donuts. Black sesame, Nutella, Strawberry, Pandan, Ube, and Maple bacon. Pandan and Nutella were my favorite. Also tried the Matcha strawberry drink and the Ube cloud drink. The strawberry in the matcha was a little overpowering at first but when it was mixed all the way and some of the ice melted it was perfect! They were both good so it was hard to pick a favorite. A great hang-out place for an after-school treat with my little! Looking forward to getting these for our future events :) read more

I was itching to come here for the first time to try their mochi donuts and boba! It was during a week day so it wasn't busy which meant service went great! There's a huge boba drink menu overhead the registers and I missed the menu for the mochi donuts to the left of the register as a sign. They had 7 flavor options for mochi donuts, 4 in which I got. Unfortunately do not have photos because they were eaten of excitement Our boba drinks were refreshing and delicious. We ordered a Strawberry cheesecake (no boba) and ube cloud (with boba). BOTH SO GOOD!!! The mochi donut were okay. I felt like I was eating more of a donut and was expecting more softer chew. Other than that, I'd definitely like to try this place again for their mochi donuts and drinks. read more

OK so aesthetically this place is beautiful and as soon as you walk in there's a gorgeous decorated wall on the left of you which really invites you and there is a huge open seating area enough to fit maybe 20 people or more comfortably. The menu is very easy to read and you can clearly see the difference between the specialty drinks, and the ones you can create yourself along with Boba that you can add. The food is also displayed very clearly so you can see all the different options you have and on the third monitor on the left there's also some visuals to add in. I really liked how many different choices of Boba you could select from. Overall the drinks were ok. I got really excited because from my knowledge this is the only place in the area that has Vietnamese coffee however it did not have enough sweetness where it tasted like water down coffee I feel like maybe some more condensed milk might be better but not overly sugary. Something was off. We also got the Horchata drink and it wasn't bad it just kind of tasted like cinnamon toast crunch milk. The drinks overall when they came out art very aesthetic and a lot of fun. My only feedback would be to maybe add a little more condensed milk. The lady who helped us at the counter also took her time explaining things and taking over so customer service was good. I could definitely see myself giving this place another try and perhaps getting the taro drink instead. read more

This place was recommended to us by the waiter at Asian bbq & pho since me and my friends were talking about getting boba after we ate our lunch . And this place did not disappoint on my drink . My first time having Wintermelon with lychee and oof , soooo good . Just wished they didn't shake my drink with the cheese foam so it would just be aesthetically pleasing to take a pic but that's not a big deal . I'll come back for more and try their mochinut and their other items . Update : I've came back again cause I had to try some of their other stuff and for the Wintermelon lychee cause it was soooo good the last time I came . Can't go wrong with a Korean dog , and the ube cloud was good too , not too sweet which I like . My fave flavor of the mochinuts was butter pecan but I think I can pass on them overall , I may try their mochi waffle next time . read more

I will start by saying I was hesitant to try Mochido because the review on here were mixed. I gave it a chance and I'm glad I did!! Top to bottom I would HIGHLY recommend this joint! I walked in and I was immediately greeted! Sadie was so kind to help me figure out what kinda boba I wanted and go through the different toppings. I'm not a huge fan of coffee so she helped find a caffeine-free option. My drink, mochi donut and Korean corn dog came out very quickly and was all delicious! The flavors of the mochi donuts change every week so I recommend you try the tiramisu one while you can! It was soo good! For my drink I went with the brown sugar milk tea with Creme brûlée milk foam topping! AMAZING! What I like about their drinks is it's one size (which is like a typical medium/large cup) for $5.95! And lastly, I got the KCD with the hot dog AND mozzarella and hot Cheetos topping and I can't believe how tasty it was! Hella cheese stringing out and it was piping hot and tasty AF! I know it was just a hotdog in there but it was different than your typical Oscar Meyer. They season it! Twas fantastic! I am def going to be returning soon! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

First time trying the mochi donuts and Korean corn dogs and I am HOOKED these are sooooo tasty! The Ube donut was topped with toasted coconut which in my opinion elevated the experience. They had around 7/8 flavors I am not sure if they change through your the week but some were interesting like bubblegum flavor. The corn dog can be all hot dog all cheese or half and half. And you can tell the hot dog is high quality. The only down fall is that they are only available after 12 on weekends. Worth the wait tho! Can't wait to come back! read more

after a stuffed rooftop brunch at Elderwood, I thought I would skip the restaurant's dessert menu and save some tummy space for mochi donuts. Missing OC's chewy soft mochi texture, I thought I would be experiencing that by coming here giving Visalia a chance to WOW me. Ehhhhh; it ended up being just '' mediocre " Their flavor is promising, however lacking the right consistency as a true mochi donut should taste- too crispy and hard in my opinion. The toppings I chose were funnel cake, almond choco, cheesecake and chocolate chip cookie. my favorite was the cheesecake, as I did not finish the others. The other item i ordered from the menu was the Ube Cloud, taro milk tea with cheese foam. This was probably the only enjoyment I got out this trip. minus one star for mochi donuts, plus 4 stars for effort and the milk tea. read more

There are many choices for a refreshing milk tea or fruity drinks with boba (of course). The service is fast and friendly. From the "Specialty Drinks" I ordered the Ube Cloud with Boba which is Taro based and has cheese foam included (to create that "cloud" effect). I thought it was great! The sweetness was there for me and the Boba had the desired chewy texture. The Huz went a little off-menu (there was a picture near the register announcing it's availability so I don't know if it's seasonal, temporary or if it's a regular part of their menu) and ordered a "Halo-Halo" drink which is typically a Filipino dessert consisting of Ube Ice Cream and an assortment of ingredients including red beans, flan, jellies, etc. It may sound weird to ones that are not in the know, but it's popular & well-liked. I heard the manager or owner tell one of the workers to put "langka" (jackfruit) in it so The Huz was hooked up. :-) He liked it--once all mixed up (halo-halo), he said it tasted like a pretty good typical Halo-Halo dessert but taken through a Boba straw. :-D The Youngest got adventurous and tried the Mango Matcha Latte and although he didn't love it, he said if a person was into that fruity flavor, they might like it. There was something about the Matcha mixed with it that didn't completely jive with his taste buds. The First-Born went with his usual go-to, a Strawberry Matcha Latte, and he enjoyed it. The presentation of the drinks, the general vibe of the location (including the decorations on the wall) and the friendliness of the staff earns a high recommendation from us. Stop in if you're in the area and are in the mood for these refreshing drinks. Oh, and they also sell mochi donuts. LOL! :-D read more
