Despite the name, Mochido offers a variety of drinks and Korean food besides mochi donuts. The donuts themselves were a standout although the wait was a drag. Interestingly there was only one employee working when we visited and I watched in amazement as she took orders and prepared everything. Our drinks took 25 minutes to complete and we were the first group in line. *Mochi Donut: there were seasonal flavors and the employee was kind enough to explain the different flavors as the names were a bit abstract. I opted for the spring donut which was white chocolate and matcha. The texture was the best I've tried. Perfectly bouncy in the center with a light exterior. It wasn't too oily nor sweet and the glaze was subtle. Despite the description, I couldn't really differentiate the white chocolate and matcha from a standard glaze. *Spring Fruit Tea: described as a passionfruit and rose tea. Disappointedly, neither flavor was prominent. The tea was steeped well but this was missing some brightness. *Creme Brulee: very sweet but fragrant. This was rich and milky with strong notes of burnt cream. However, we got less sugar for this and it was still too sweet. If there was an option to lower the sugar even more, I would opt for that. The milk based drinks tasted better than the fruit ones. If I was in a rush, I would stick to the donuts but drinks were pretty good if you don't mind the wait. read more

I was very surprised by the quality of the Korean style corn dog and chicken wings all made to order! Delicious! I also enjoyed the mochi donuts- they were very squishy and the flavors were all great. The chicken wings took a while to make but it was worth the wait! There's a huge boba drink menu overhead the registers and I missed the menu for the mochi donuts to the left of the register as a sign. They had 7 flavor options for mochi donuts, 4 in which I got. OK so aesthetically this place is beautiful and as soon as you walk in there's a gorgeous decorated wall on the left of you which really invites you and there is a huge open seating area enough to fit maybe 20 people or more comfortably. The menu is very easy to read and you can clearly see the difference between the specialty drinks, and the ones you can create yourself along with Boba that you can add. The food is also displayed very clearly so you can see all the different options you have and on the third monitor on the left there's also some visuals to add in. I really liked how many different choices of Boba you could select from. Overall the drinks were ok. I got really excited because from my knowledge this is the only place in the area that has Vietnamese coffee however it did not have enough sweetness where it tasted like water down coffee I feel like maybe some more condensed milk might be better but not overly sugary. Something was off. We also got the Horchata drink and it wasn't bad it just kind of tasted like cinnamon toast crunch milk. The drinks overall when they came out art very aesthetic and a lot of fun. My only feedback would be to maybe add a little more condensed milk. The lady who helped us at the counter also took her time explaining things and taking over so customer service was good. I could definitely see myself giving this place another try and perhaps getting the taro drink instead. read more

The first time I came here the line was moving a little too slow and I had to walk out. I came back two days later with my son and I have to say it was worth the wait! I have been waiting for this place to open and I'm glad I finally got to try it. I recommend following their Instagram page for updates on new flavors and store hours. The staff was nice and very patient with customers. Tried all six flavors they had available that day for mochi donuts. Black sesame, Nutella, Strawberry, Pandan, Ube, and Maple bacon. Pandan and Nutella were my favorite. Also tried the Matcha strawberry drink and the Ube cloud drink. The strawberry in the matcha was a little overpowering at first but when it was mixed all the way and some of the ice melted it was perfect! They were both good so it was hard to pick a favorite. I will start by saying I was hesitant to try Mochido because the review on here were mixed. I gave it a chance and I'm glad I did!! Top to bottom I would HIGHLY recommend this joint! I walked in and I was immediately greeted! Sadie was so kind to help me figure out what kinda boba I wanted and go through the different toppings. I'm not a huge fan of coffee so she helped find a caffeine-free option. My drink, mochi donut and Korean corn dog came out very quickly and was all delicious! The flavors of the mochi donuts change every week so I recommend you try the tiramisu one while you can! It was soo good! For my drink I went with the brown sugar milk tea with Creme brûlée milk foam topping! AMAZING! What I like about their drinks is it's one size (which is like a typical medium/large cup) for $5.95! And lastly, I got the KCD with the hot dog AND mozzarella and hot Cheetos topping and I can't believe how tasty it was! Hella cheese stringing out and it was piping hot and tasty AF! They had around 7/8 flavors I am not sure if they change through your the week but some were interesting like bubblegum flavor. The corn dog can be all hot dog all cheese or half and half. There are many choices for a refreshing milk tea or fruity drinks with boba (of course). The service is fast and friendly. From the "Specialty Drinks" I ordered the Ube Cloud with Boba which is Taro based and has cheese foam included (to create that "cloud" effect). I thought it was great! The sweetness was there for me and the Boba had the desired chewy texture. The Huz went a little off-menu (there was a picture near the register announcing it's availability so I don't know if it's seasonal, temporary or if it's a regular part of their menu) and ordered a "Halo-Halo" drink which is typically a Filipino dessert consisting of Ube Ice Cream and an assortment of ingredients including red beans, flan, jellies, etc. It may sound weird to ones that are not in the know, but it's popular & well-liked. I heard the manager or owner tell one of the workers to put "langka" (jackfruit) in it so The Huz was hooked up. :-) He liked it--once all mixed up (halo-halo), he said it tasted like a pretty good typical Halo-Halo dessert but taken through a Boba straw. :-D The Youngest got adventurous and tried the Mango Matcha Latte and although he didn't love it, he said if a person was into that fruity flavor, they might like it. There was something about the Matcha mixed with it that didn't completely jive with his taste buds. The First-Born went with his usual go-to, a Strawberry Matcha Latte, and he enjoyed it. The presentation of the drinks, the general vibe of the location (including the decorations on the wall) and the friendliness of the staff earns a high recommendation from us.
