After waiting in that long line at Marshall's, I came out pretty hot & thirsty. I saw their storefront sign walking towards my car & decides to check it out. it's a beverage shop specializing in teas & boba concoctions. So many colorful options. I chose a lemonade with a splash of mango. Staff were friendly & helpful since it was my first time here. While he made my drink, I took the opportunity to take some pics of this adorable tea shop. It was midafternoon & two customers were there chopping it up. Casual vibe. Final product: tasty but sweet. Sweeter than I expected. It lasted until I got to Cameron Rd. Great place to stop for a refresher after exiting Marshalls or getting your nails done. Until next time.

Visited on Sat 8pm, no wait. Service is quick and staff was helpful. Taro lover - can't adjust sugar level, it's just the right sweetness. There is a banana latte series that seemed interesting, wanted to try the honeycomb banana latte, but didn't order it. I asked about the ingredient, as informed by the staff, they are not using real banana, but the essence.

Their jasmine tea is good but otherwise everything else is middling. Service is always quick and friendly. They're especially good for party pours and the quality retains quite well. However, the fruit teas are overly sweet despite me adjusting the sugar level. The milk teas seem to allow the tea to shine more. The boba isn't exceptional but I appreciate the variety in other options. Personally the passionfruit dolphin jelly is an underrated addition. Options are lactose free friendly. *Creamy Jasmine: my favorite drink from teaspoon. Simplistic but the tea is steeped well. It does suffer from being on the sweeter end so I always opt for 25% sweetness. This is also available in party pour form and my guests enjoyed the transportable taste. *Liquid Gold: had a strange aftertaste. Tasted rather watered down and the cream layer did nothing for the flavor or consistency. *Matcha Royale Strawberry: the strawberry puree is the best part. The matcha is not very rich and the milk further weakens its flavor. *Guava Sunset: extremely sweet. The guava flavor wasn't very prominent and leaned more towards the pineapple. The splash of lemon juice could have added some tartness and acidity but it wasn't noticeable. The marmalade needed less sugar so the fruit could shine. The fruit options are too sweet and that takes away from the tea. The tea should be brewed stronger so then it can handle the other additive flavors. Hence their simple options tend to be better. I'll stick to the creamy jasmine to be safe.

Classic Thai Tea, so bomb. I didn't catch the lovely woman's name, but she made mine and others' drinks very quickly. Thank you! Warm ambiance. Was clean, spacious, and perfect place to study.

Service and ambience is good. Not a lot of guest so it's pretty quiet. Their bathroom is really clean and smells good. They do not have a lot of drink options. HOUSE MILK TEA 50% : I had only the House Milk Tea... couldn't say much about this place. Their tea is very basic. Taste good/ok/decent/drinkable. I order 50% sugar and it taste like 100% sugar. They don't stir their drink so mix it before drinking it. I took a big sip and it was straight up sugar only.

Half ass job on my boba wasn't even mixed well and Oreo isn't even crumbled just threw a cookie in there for extra $1 what a joke

I'm from SF and I go to teaspoons a lot. The location was ok. I ordered a Oreo topping and they just broke up pieces of Oreo I'm pretty sure suppose to be crumbled

Ordered online for pickup on a Sunday afternoon, and my order was ready within 10 minutes of ordering. The shop was nice and clean, not very busy from the looks of it. Got the Taro Lover and the Flamingo. The taro milk was okay, but looooved the taro chunks! There aren't many places that have fresh taro around here, so I'm glad it was delicious. The Flamingo was also great, but I think it's better to get it less sweet as the regular was a bit much. Definitely wanna come back and try their other drinks next time like the ube astra.

This is my go to lately! Drinks and boba hit every time! My kids make me drive from Tulare to Visalia to get their boba fix. As it is their favorite too.

Don't go here for matcha if you actually like matcha. It's straight up sugar and milk. Location has nice furniture and service was fast.

Service was quick. They offer first 2 orders $3 off when you sign up on their app. Regular drinks (such as signature boba milk tea) are around $6-7 dollars, so with the $3 off, the drinks are at good price. We ordered a signature milk tea and added honey boba, 10% sugar and no ice. It was a decent drink. Boba was chewy, though the tea, I prefer stronger tea. The environment is clean. Good place to hang out with friends.

So happy I got to try this place. They had samples at the register and got to try the taro with taro chunks (So good) They do not offer blended taro or any other blended drinks other than what's already on the menu as smoothie drinks. The staff was very polite and very helpful. The prices were also very reasonable. They offer sweets such as cookies, loaf slices, and macarons. Great place! Glad they opened a boba/dessert place like this in Visalia.

I've always been a fan of Teaspoon. I was very impressed when I had it out of town and have always wanted one here in the valley. And finally, they open in Visalia! I like Teaspoon for its refreshing taste and great combinations. While some places just taste like black/green tea + flavors (which I get that's what it is), the drinks at teaspoon really taste infused. It's nicely mixed together and it becomes a whole refresher all on its own. It doesn't taste dull. It's very crisp. It hits the spot. Another awesome thing one always worries about is if the service and quality is still going to be consistent when a chain from out of town finally opens in town. I'd say I was impressed with the soft opening in that yes, it tasted consistent and the service was quick and friendly. So I think they have a formula that works and I really hope they last in Visalia. I'm a big tea drinker and like I said, I've always recommended Teaspoon to any of my friends. The location is not as easily spotted as other tea shops in the area but I highly recommend a visit! (I often get almost all of my drinks 1/2 sweet but it's always good to check in with the person working there for suggestions. Everyone has a different preference for sugar.)

Pretty awesome to have such a cool and chic Boba place in Visalia. Atmosphere: playing fun 90s music like Lincoln Park and Backstreet Boys. Drinks: got the buy one get one Thai tea with Boba, and the Taro with fresh made ground taro. 4.5 out of five. In Visalia you can't get much better than this. Prices are pretty high, six dollars a drink, But you get what you pay for. They use Clover organic milk and make their own purées and syrups and teas, From scratch. Also the inside and there's environment is very inviting for you to sit down and hang out. Overall, 4.5 out of five.

Gong Cha was the front runner; so we had to check it out! It was around 4pm on a weds, we arrived to a busy parking lot but as we approached the front door, the inside had but one guest enjoying what appeared to be a delicious drink. The front staff member was welcoming and greeted us as we came in, the other two staff members were more silent and stayed to themselves. The store's Ambiance is very nice, definitely somewhere you can sit and enjoy your drink without the outside world bothering you. Being a first timer, they do have a small menu board near the register that goes through each step on the ordering process. Plus they have a digital board on top; the one we looked at goes into more detail on how to build and order your drink. This time around my wife knew exactly the one she wanted to try, so we didn't need the help board "that much". My wife did get asked how much ice and how sweet she wanted it. She went with 50% ice and 50% sweet. Pro Tip: they do ask for ice amount and sugar amount, i.e. 0, 10%, 50% "which is the preferred amount in sugar" but I would personally say not the right amount in ice. Go higher amount in ice, it will melt quickly. But they even go to 100% in ice amount and sugar which is the most sweet. The drink came out to around 5 and change, 7 with the 2 dollar tip. I didn't feel like a drink this time around, but the price isn't too bad for a medium sized drink. The overall flavor was "good" not "great". The pearls are absolutely not needed for these drinks, they really don't do anything except add a texture to an already decent beverage that works fine on its own. The tea was a little watered down, the ice melted quickly from the time we got the drink to the time we got halfway home. The pearls didn't really have flavor. They were just kinda "there". But the Drink had the brown sugar flavor, it was nice! Nice enough to Definitely come back for another round and this time I plan on trying one of my own. Pro Tip: By The front Door they do have a "Mask Required" sign. Don't know if they're still following procedures for Covid, but we were respectful to keep our masks on. Definitely give this place a try if you're on Mooney and looking for a delicious tea or boba.
