4/2/19' The 2 women working were very nice and friendly! The prices were good! 2$ for a paleta(ice cream bars) with a wide variety of flavors! I tried the cookiess and cream which was okay but the fruit flavors is where they really shine, i had a chile and lime/lemon and was amazing! YES. Sabor a Tocumbo is a little slice of heaven and so are their paletas. There are a ton of flavors to choose from and all are made in-house by the owners, who were super friendly and welcoming. I heard great things about the rice pudding paleta so I knew I'd have to grab one of those, but I absolutely love banana flavored things (especially ice cream) so I did what I knew I had to do - I got both. The rice pudding paleta was absolutely delicious. Sweet but not at all overwhelmingly so, with hints of cinnamon and bites of rice throughout, I never wanted the experience to end. The banana paleta was amazing and extra creamy, and also not at all overly sweet. Dairy-based paletas are $1.75 each and non-dairy are $1.50 each. If you're lucky enough to live near Sabor a Tocumbo you should definitely be all over this place!! read more

I thought it was great that the owner not only took the time to say hello but was hands on and working with his employees. I got one scoop of pineapple and one scoop of coconut. The coconut was super creamy and great flavor. The pineapple have a rich pineapple taste. My daughter got cotton candy which was bright pink I expected it to taste super sweet but it was actually really good. My son got chocolate which had a perfectly rich chocolate flavor. First time here!!!! I was craving for a Mangonada during this hot weather. I figured I'd yelp and see if anywhere around Visalia sold some and this place popped up! The mangos were chopped up into pieces and added in after each layer of ice cream. I got mine with a scoop of passionfruit and mango, while I got another one with all scoops of mango ice cream. Chamoy, Lime juice, tajin and a tamarind lucas straw added in for that extra goodness! Satisfyingly flavorful! Wish they had big pieces of mango slices though like other places! This is for the one on Houston avenue. Today was the 2nd time we went. First time, my girlfriend got a mangonada, and she was beyond hyped on it. We went today, because she was jonesing for another one and I wanted a banana split. The staff there was really cool and friendly the first time, and no different the second time either.
