Okay...So this place is in the same area as Rockys Donuts and Las Espuelas. This is a small shop with a variety of ice cream flavors and paletas (ice cream popsicles). I got mangoleada, coconut, Nut, strawberry and lime. My daughter had a waffle cone that was dipped in chocolate and with sprinkles and some chocolate icecream. Didn't get a pic before she finished it but it was huge. The coconut and chocolate are pretty good... Very coconutty n chocolate not too sweet just right. The mangoleada paleta was refreshing with a tangy lemony chili taste to it with good amount of chunks of the fresh fruit. It doesnt have that syrupy taste or super sweet to it...like i said it was refreshing. The lady that helped us was very helpful and had good customer service. She mentioned that they also had nachos, tortas and fruit cups with flavored cream. They have 4 different flavors to go with the fruit cup. She gave me little samples to try, just ask and she will get them for ya! They were strawberry, nut, vanilla and uggh! I forgot the 4th flavor but they were all really good, I swear! I will definately be going back to grab one of those fruit cups and try their tortas. They also have a fridge with drinks and a stand with chips. This is a cute little shop to stop by and have a snack. Cant wait to see who else shares their experience :)

But Whimpy's burgers for some reason, to me, hits fresher! They have a similar "animal style" option for their burgers called "bandit style", which almost powers up the burger in a way. I always get mine this way, minus the jalapeños. Unless of course you're into your burger having little spicy surprise bits, then by all means leave them in! The customer service on this particular visit was outstanding. Someone was already at the register waiting to greet us and take our order. It was an average slow early afternoon Saturday. The establishment was clean and cool, thank goodness, since it was 90 degrees out. I got a traditional whimpys burger combo and subbed tater tots for fries. My husband got a sailer sub sandwich, which was almost like a double cheeseburger but on a brioche looking toe sub bun. Very yummi! We got sides of ranch, which has a nice creamy almost buttermilk style taste. And whimpys sauce, which I can only describe as a mixture of tartar sauce and thousand island. They have a variety of other sandwich styles and side options so what we you choose you can't go wrong! Sometimes they have meal deals that include free ice cream.
