This place a little hidden burger joint gem! All the hype is normally focused on In&Out which, don't get me wrong, they do have tasty burgers especially when you get it animal style. But Whimpy's burgers for some reason, to me, hits fresher! They have a similar "animal style" option for their burgers called "bandit style", which almost powers up the burger in a way. I always get mine this way, minus the jalapeños. Unless of course you're into your burger having little spicy surprise bits, then by all means leave them in! The customer service on this particular visit was outstanding. Someone was already at the register waiting to greet us and take our order. It was an average slow early afternoon Saturday. The establishment was clean and cool, thank goodness, since it was 90 degrees out. I got a traditional whimpys burger combo and subbed tater tots for fries. My husband got a sailer sub sandwich, which was almost like a double cheeseburger but on a brioche looking toe sub bun. Very yummi! We got sides of ranch, which has a nice creamy almost buttermilk style taste. And whimpys sauce, which I can only describe as a mixture of tartar sauce and thousand island. They have a variety of other sandwich styles and side options so what we you choose you can't go wrong! Sometimes they have meal deals that include free ice cream. And, they also offer military discounts! :0) read more

Friendly service. Military discount. Quiet. Fairly clean. Ordered takeout. A little warm to eat inside. Something different for dinner. Chicken salad was enough for two meals. Burgers were huge! My son got the double and a side of chili fries. Two thumbs up read more

This is a very biased review solely because I am convinced that every burger joint next to a school is always gonna hit, and I can confidently say that because the burger joint across from my high school to the one I had in Mississippi for my schoolhouse Marine Corps and North Carolina. Service was great I used the kiosk but as soon as I sat down I was brought my drinks promptly. Only small gripe I have is the grilled cheese could have been cooked a little longer because my daughter likes my burnt grill cheeses (I scarfed it down hungry hungry hippo style) great place to stop great atmosphere. read more

Wimpy’s Hamburgers - Double Wimpy Burger Combo Grilled Cheese (Kids Meal) - Burgers Near Me - Lemoore, California

I was not the biggest fan. It didn't look that busy and the food took a very long time to get ready. Not worth the price and didn't taste the greatest. The frys were undercooked and the Mozzarella sticks had a funny taste. The wimpy burger lives up to its name as the smallest burger I've ever seen for the price of a sit down restaurant. The outside seating was nice but would be great if you could hear your order being called from outside. read more

Great food and service. Very clean. Burgers are awesome. Thank you,........................

Food was good and hot Would definitely recommend you to go Is good for the money and time read more

The burger was delicious however I ordered a combo and didn't get my fries or drink. I will give them another chance

I recently ordered a fish sandwich from Wimpy Burgers, which was priced at $7.29. I also asked for an additional fish patty, expecting to pay an extra $3.19. The total came to over $11, which seemed fair at first considering the menu picture showed a thick, square, juicy fish patty. Naturally, I expected two of those patties in my sandwich. What I actually received was a sandwich with three small fish planks instead of the regular patties. There's no way these planks are equivalent to two proper patties. To be charged an additional $3.19 and still end up with a sub-par sandwich is disappointing, to say the least. This feels like false advertising since what I got doesn't match what the menu displays. For over $11, I expected a better portion and quality. Wimpy Burgers needs to address this issue with their supply chain or restaurant so customers aren't overcharged and underwhelmed. I'd think twice before ordering the fish sandwich again. read more

The 2 1/2 stars rating is way off. 5 stars for a classic burger joint. We got the burger combo and the kids loved it. Burger was consistent with most good burger joints. Seasoned fries were fresh, crispy on the outside without being dry or overdone and soft inside. Their ranch sauce was flavorful for dipping the fries. Service was fast and friendly. We didn't dine-in but the restaurant was really clean, looked recently updated. The soft serve ice cream was super creamy. Tip: You may want to get fries unseasoned for the kids if they're picky eaters. read more

Great food, great service in a small setting! My only problem is to figure out if I wasn't the shrimp basket or a burger, both are delicious! Definitely a must hit in Lemoore!!! read more

The fries are crispy and have the bowling alley fry type of crunch. The burgers are delicious. The drinks are massive. The service has always been impressive and they can produce quality and quantity. Nothing is super greasy and it all tastes fresh. Haven't been inside only through the Drive-thru read more

This place sucks. The food is terrible and it's expensive for fast food. You'd be better off just driving down the street to a cheaper place if you want burgers. read more

Here at 8:10 pm on July 16th and the sign says open on the outside but both doors are locked and no one is inside the store front nor picking up the phone. Absolutely shocked and beyond disappointed read more

Decent little drive in/drive thru with great fries and an average hamburger. The patty melt is very good. Definitely recommend that. The fries are the best thing I've had there. Super delish!! read more

They have wonder service and the staff are very nice. The food was really good will come back the place was nice.

New to area, went for third time an got rude service. Politely asked for thicker shake and lady at window scoffed about asking for a thicker shake. My shake was very liquid an almost spilled when top was taken off. She said she asked the owner about it first and owner defined what a shake is. She could have just remade it in the time that took. Just add more ice cream next time ppl. Otherwise food was good. Not a good impression read more

Not only was their burgers some of the best American food in Lemoore, but their prices were reasonable and generous. I couldn't get a picture of the banana split before it was eaten in a matter of seconds. Great place to stop by, hang out or just grab a quick bite! I recommend getting the banana split and the double burger! read more

Great food great service nice cold air conditioning couldn't ask for anything more from a little burger place

We decided to give this new place a try being it's been here awhile. We'll sorry we wasted our time. Burgers were burnt and buns dry and stale. Small on top of all that. Not a good value even if it was any good. Very disappointing will not return. read more

The woman working at the register was EXTREMELY rude and told us she wouldn't take our order unless it was for a pickup order because they were closing in 15 minutes. We drive from Hanford to eat there for the first time and their website online said they closed at 9 and it was 7:45 when we got there. Never again. read more

I always see this place packed and I never understood why. So I decided to stop here and give it a chance but never again. The food was basic not enough flavor to keep you coming back. I really don't understand why people like this place read more

Over priced, way to long for food even if its scratch cooking, Extremely poor customer service, order two drinks in drive thru and it takes 10 minutes to get your drinks and Mr Attitude thinks he is being rushed or something. Ordering inside is no better when I watched an older gentleman who was very polite to my kids who had just won ribbons in track and he went out of his way to congratulate them. The drive thru attendant was extremely rude to him and the three young men intentionally made him wait until the got the drive thru cleared while at one time or another his ice cream and banana split could of been completed. I know he is never coming back and neither is my family of 12. If this level of rudeness is what you want then this is your place read more

A friend in Visalia shared that the location there had the best burgers in town so I had to find out when this location opened in Lemoore. I started with the basic Whimpy Cheeseburger (FYI, you have to request cheese) and was blown away. The produce was crisp and fresh, the burger patty was very juice and the bun was perfectly toasted. Equal amounts of tasty perfection! My next visit I ventured out and tried the Fried Chicken Sandwich...FANTASTIC! Evenly breaded chicken breast with the perfect crunch, crisp fresh lettuce and the toasted bun was not overly coated with mayo. Next was the Pastrami that comes with a few hot yellow peppers on the side. The meat was so tender, not overly fatty or too salty and the pickles were very plump and juicy. On my visit today, I left the drive thru in haste as I had a quick appointment. I realized a short time later that I had left before receiving the second bag with the marvelous Chicken Fried Sandwich. I called the restaurant and they were so kind and said they would remake my order so it would be ready when I came back. Upon my return I was asked if I would like any additional sides for the inconvenience, which was so generous considering I left without the second bag. I selected the Zucchini Sticks (soooo good) and my remade order was brought to my vehicle in less than five minutes. The employee that delivered the order was so apologetic and was so thankful I wasn't upset. There was nothing to be upset about; I was actually excited to try a new item and meet a new smiling face. After many thanks you's and kind words were exchanged, I headed home with delicious aromas wafting through the care. When I opened the bag at home not only did they remake the Chicken Fried Sandwich and add Zuchinni Sticks, they also remade the Whimpy Burger and included Mozerella Sticks with Ranch! I can't say I've ever seen a restaurant go so far out of their way to right a mistake, especially one that wasn't theirs. To the team working on this day at 2pm, your kindness is so appreciated and you are a great example of stellar customer service that so many other restaurants have yet to achieve. Thank you for making my day.. Can't wait to see you again soon to try the Patty Melt! read more

Gave this place a third try and still just not impressed. Ordered two regular cheese burgers which came sloppy and something about the super chopped lettuce that I just don't like. Workers are friendly.. I do enjoy their fries.. but ya the burgers are seriously over priced and nothing special. Don't think we will be back again anytime soon. read more

Service is good, the burger i got were just 6/10 and okay. Not sure if ill come back too often

Not sure if the one in Visalia and this one are owned by the same people but the burger and fries I had in Visalia were WAY better and it didn't take long. We stopped by to check out this place, on our way home from Hanford today. We purchased 3 cheese burgers and 2 orders of fries. The burger to bun ratio was a little off, but the overall flavor of the burger was very good. The fries had some type of seasoning on them, and also tasted very good. As far as the pricing, quality, and service goes, I'll give Wimpy's, 3 stars, to begin with. Since they just opened up. We'll be going back soon, to try out other items on the menu! read more

The food tasted like it was cooked in old oil. The grilled chicken was burned on one side and the mushrooms were burned. The Frito boat had no meat in it, just chili and tooo much cheese and the mozzarella sticks tasted bad and 2 of them didn't have any cheese in them. I will not at eat at this place anymore. the employee were polite. it was just the food that was no good. read more

Food was good, but everything else was terrible. We ordered on Grubhub. When I showed to pick up the order, the person at the counter said, "Oh shit!" No one bothered to check to see that I'd placed an order. I had to wait for them to make my order. The manager made things right. I took my order home and two bites in I found a six-inch long white hair in my burger. It's safe to say that I won't be going back. If you want to try this place, and I think you should, I would suggest giving them time to fix their systems. read more
