I was not the biggest fan. It didn't look that busy and the food took a very long time to get ready. Not worth the price and didn't taste the greatest. The frys were undercooked and the Mozzarella sticks had a funny taste. The wimpy burger lives up to its name as the smallest burger I've ever seen for the price of a sit down restaurant. I recently ordered a fish sandwich from Wimpy Burgers, which was priced at $7.29. I also asked for an additional fish patty, expecting to pay an extra $3.19. The total came to over $11, which seemed fair at first considering the menu picture showed a thick, square, juicy fish patty. Naturally, I expected two of those patties in my sandwich. What I actually received was a sandwich with three small fish planks instead of the regular patties. There's no way these planks are equivalent to two proper patties. To be charged an additional $3.19 and still end up with a sub-par sandwich is disappointing, to say the least. This feels like false advertising since what I got doesn't match what the menu displays. For over $11, I expected a better portion and quality. Wimpy Burgers needs to address this issue with their supply chain or restaurant so customers aren't overcharged and underwhelmed. I'd think twice before ordering the fish sandwich again. read more

The 2 1/2 stars rating is way off. 5 stars for a classic burger joint. We got the burger combo and the kids loved it. Burger was consistent with most good burger joints. Seasoned fries were fresh, crispy on the outside without being dry or overdone and soft inside. Their ranch sauce was flavorful for dipping the fries. Service was fast and friendly. We didn't dine-in but the restaurant was really clean, looked recently updated. The soft serve ice cream was super creamy. Tip: You may want to get fries unseasoned for the kids if they're picky eaters. read more

My shake was very liquid an almost spilled when top was taken off. She said she asked the owner about it first and owner defined what a shake is. She could have just remade it in the time that took. Not only was their burgers some of the best American food in Lemoore, but their prices were reasonable and generous. I couldn't get a picture of the banana split before it was eaten in a matter of seconds. Great place to stop by, hang out or just grab a quick bite! The woman working at the register was EXTREMELY rude and told us she wouldn't take our order unless it was for a pickup order because they were closing in 15 minutes. We drive from Hanford to eat there for the first time and their website online said they closed at 9 and it was 7:45 when we got there. Never again. read more

Over priced, way to long for food even if its scratch cooking, Extremely poor customer service, order two drinks in drive thru and it takes 10 minutes to get your drinks and Mr Attitude thinks he is being rushed or something. Ordering inside is no better when I watched an older gentleman who was very polite to my kids who had just won ribbons in track and he went out of his way to congratulate them. The drive thru attendant was extremely rude to him and the three young men intentionally made him wait until the got the drive thru cleared while at one time or another his ice cream and banana split could of been completed. A friend in Visalia shared that the location there had the best burgers in town so I had to find out when this location opened in Lemoore. I started with the basic Whimpy Cheeseburger (FYI, you have to request cheese) and was blown away. The produce was crisp and fresh, the burger patty was very juice and the bun was perfectly toasted. Equal amounts of tasty perfection! My next visit I ventured out and tried the Fried Chicken Sandwich...FANTASTIC! Evenly breaded chicken breast with the perfect crunch, crisp fresh lettuce and the toasted bun was not overly coated with mayo. Next was the Pastrami that comes with a few hot yellow peppers on the side. The meat was so tender, not overly fatty or too salty and the pickles were very plump and juicy. On my visit today, I left the drive thru in haste as I had a quick appointment. I realized a short time later that I had left before receiving the second bag with the marvelous Chicken Fried Sandwich. I called the restaurant and they were so kind and said they would remake my order so it would be ready when I came back. Upon my return I was asked if I would like any additional sides for the inconvenience, which was so generous considering I left without the second bag. I selected the Zucchini Sticks (soooo good) and my remade order was brought to my vehicle in less than five minutes. The employee that delivered the order was so apologetic and was so thankful I wasn't upset. There was nothing to be upset about; I was actually excited to try a new item and meet a new smiling face. After many thanks you's and kind words were exchanged, I headed home with delicious aromas wafting through the care. When I opened the bag at home not only did they remake the Chicken Fried Sandwich and add Zuchinni Sticks, they also remade the Whimpy Burger and included Mozerella Sticks with Ranch! I can't say I've ever seen a restaurant go so far out of their way to right a mistake, especially one that wasn't theirs. To the team working on this day at 2pm, your kindness is so appreciated and you are a great example of stellar customer service that so many other restaurants have yet to achieve. Gave this place a third try and still just not impressed. Ordered two regular cheese burgers which came sloppy and something about the super chopped lettuce that I just don't like. Workers are friendly.. I do enjoy their fries.. but ya the burgers are seriously over priced and nothing special. Don't think we will be back again anytime soon. read more

We stopped by to check out this place, on our way home from Hanford today. We purchased 3 cheese burgers and 2 orders of fries. The burger to bun ratio was a little off, but the overall flavor of the burger was very good. The fries had some type of seasoning on them, and also tasted very good.
