Very simple place, not your typical hotdog gem but at least it was well maintained. Menu is okay, no extra special but still even it was just an ordinary hotdogs, they give you the freshest and not cold. Service was also fast, good if you're in a hurry read more

We went here since I bought something from Facebook marketplace and this place was down the street so we decided to stop by. My wife was excited to try the "best bbq in town" she got the number 8 I think and it's a beef bbq sandwich just to find out it's a glorified man-which/ sloppy Joe! Our kids got the popcorn chicken and even then my kids said it felt like they got the chicken from Costco or something and put it in the air fryer and that was it no taste. We had to go somewhere else to finish eating. To top it off we had a gift card and still felt like we got robbed. I wouldn't comeback. read more

The place has been here for years and years and years and years. The Hotdogs are great. The hamburgers are great. The fries are perfect. The drinks are flowing. They even have ice cream you couldn't ask for a better place inside those fans cool in the building down and the music is playing from the 80s flashback to when I was 17. read more

I miss Werner. Been eating here since the 1980's and I understand that orders are made wrong. When I'm accused of trying to hustle them out of a hamburger for bringing the wrong order back, I'll just take my business elsewhere. I'm clearly in the minority here, but White Top is a nostalgic place for me. This roadside eatery served my cravings for more than a decade, back when my family was among the first to buy a home at the nearby Lennar subdivision and when I was mackin' it up at Liberty (okay...I wasn't, but I thought I was). FOOD: Super Bacon Cheese Burger Combo: Still tastes the same! Three burger patties, cheese, and bacon with sauce and L&T? You will be full the rest of the day! The burger can be pretty dry if you don't eat it right away, though. Their crinkle fries are still freshly fried and salted well. It comes with a drink, but you can sub a shake instead if you'd like. Fried Mushrooms w/ Extra Ranch: Thin batter with a watery mushroom in the middle? Yep, still the same albeit much saltier than I remember. They taste a bit better when freshly fried. Always order extra ranch; the container it comes with is small. Large Banana Shake: Good! The thickness and sweetness is on point, while the banana flavor is strong enough. SERVICE: White Top went through an ownership change many years ago. However, the family that took over is just as friendly. Certain items were removed, like the Roadrunner BBQ Sandwich, but most of the menu is intact. I totally understand the negative reviews; this place was never perfect. Flies were a major problem, as were the overfilled trash bins. All things considered, however, it's nice to see this place is still around and serving cheap eats. read more

I needed something quick to grab before an appointment and called ahead to order so I'd have time to eat. When I got there I was told my food was ready and then the cashier walked away to talk to the delivery guy. Cane back told me my total, must have an old system because it was $.25 to use a debit card, no biggie. My issue was that after taking my card she walked around the kitchen talking to the delivery guy, he was trying to get her to buy something else, and then she took out her phone and called her boss, no saying one minute or running my card first. This added about 5 minutes to my wait my food literally sitting in my view. I just wanted my burger so I could go. Finally she came back asked me to sign my receipt and walked away again luckily not before handing me my food. The only reason for 3 stars is because the burger was an awesome messy burger. I didn't get any napkins in my bag and no other acknowledgement from the cashier after being asked to sign my receipt because she went right back to talking to the delivery guy. What really bothered me was that when I got there she was outside cleaning windows and the moment we went inside she was too busy to help me. I was the only customer there and it was 11 am. It was ridiculous. If you go, avoid going around opening because apparently it is a busy time. read more

This has been a staple drive in restaurant since my high school days, back then it was Warner and his lovely wife . Then this new family took it over quite sometime ago. It is still soooo good. Prices are great , menu is varied and the milkshakes are delicious! Our food is always hot and I love the drive thru window! Staff is very friendly! One of our favorite burger places! My husband has tried a few different sandwiches and burgers from them, he tries a new thing each time we go and has never received anything bad. Fries are great quality and come in pretty good sizes! My son and I switch between cheeseburgers or chicken nuggets both are so good. The milkshakes are GREAT sizes and always so tasteful. Anyone that loves a good shake I would totally recommend them to you especially for the size and price of them. All and all each time we go its maybe $25-$30 for the three of us which is pretty good for being a small mom and pop type location. If anyone wants a quick bite with good quality food I would definitely recommend this location. read more

I brought my girlfriend here because she likes banana milkshakes. Although I've never ordered a banana milkshake in my life I have always been told that white tops makes the best banana milkshakes. And I have to tell you this shake was pretty good. I was a little disappointed because I wanted to order a malt milkshake for myself and they were out of the malt mix. And I was only a little miffed (only for a second or two) because the guy at the window turned around and asked his coworker, "Are we still out of malt mix?" STILL?! I had their popcorn shrimp and it was fine. Nice and crunchy and hot. But nothing different than what I've had at other greasy spoons. French fries are the same as if I had fried Orieda at home. I think my biggest disappointment was the chicken sandwich. I was hoping for an actual chicken breast but it was just a flattened breaded chicken patty ($3.95). I actually think I prefer the chicken sandwich at McDonald's which is a weird thing to say. I've had better sandwiches at fast food places for the same amount. Maybe I'll try a milkshake next time as I've heard people seem to really like them here. Though I wasn't jazzed about it, at least the prices were equivalent to what I was getting. I'd be upset if I was paying $6 for a chicken sandwich when I could have gone to many other places and received better food. Oh, but I REALLY dug the old school arcade video games there! Just went here for the first time recently. A little pricier than I expected, but it was so good! Ordered the shrimp basket and Philly cheesesteak to share with a friend. The cheesesteak was missing cheese on over half of it. The shrimp basket was cooked to perfection. Will likely return to try again. read more

The only thing that was good about this place was the ice cream. Well no more. I was served a melted banana split. The flimsy container that they serve it on wasn't even closed properly. Some of it spilled on my truck so I cleaned it up. When she handed me the ice cream cones and told her what happened she handed me a white container and closed the drive up window in an awkward, " I hope this customer leaves soon." Kind a way. I had my kids and didn't want to make a big deal. But honestly they should of used the container she gave me from the get go. read more

Second time eating here. Have enjoyed it both times. The fries are our favorite. Nice and crispy yet soft in the middle. Burgers are a little small but easy to fix by just getting a double if you like more meat. Have tried the Philly cheesesteak and pastrami. Both were tasty although the pastrami was a little chewy. Only getting 2 stars because of the shakes, they are amazing. The positive stops there. Burger is frozen patty, taquitos are frozen Delimex from the grocery store and at that they were so frost bitten they were not edible. Popcorn chicken also a frozen food item. Fries were ok at best. Skip this place unless you are getting a shake. read more

Update: I was so excited to share this place with family. When they tried it we got a strawberry shake and I'm pretty sure it was powdered strawberry flavor. I don't know if this is typical for them or new to cut costs but the flavor was disgusting. read more

They are crazy when it comes to pricing the item's on the menu. I paid for 4 large milkshakes what I would of paid for two lobster's & red lobster, & or 7 lobster tails st savemart. Other then that the people are always nice & I can't complain about the taste of the food. read more
