Great variety and service. I was blown away from the selection and there were unique options compared to other donut shops. Everything was neatly organized and the back counter was for beverages. Service was quick and polite. *Mochi Donut: more expensive than the ones at Mochido yet was not as tasty. While it was a tad chewier than a typical donut, it was missing the density of a good mochi texture. The frosting was also very sweet and applied thickly. The drawing was cute and well executed though. *Maple Bar: well executed classic. The dough was fluffy and the glaze had a smokey, fragrant maple quality. This was airy and not oily in the slightest. *Glazed Donut: similarly pillowy softness covered in a simple, sweet glaze. Good yeastiness. *Green Thai Tea: good but a bit heavy with the milk and sugar. I would have liked a greater ratio of tea as it was brewed well but it got covered up by the milk. My biggest complaint was the way the donuts were packed as it caused the glaze to stick to the box. Otherwise, this was a really clean and tasty donut shop. read more

Awesome location, located conveniently on Mooney, these donuts are bomb and made fresh every morning. Service was excellent and ambiance is awesome for a quick grab and go shop. This a must stop if you are in the area. My only suggestion, please fix the name of the city on the donut box. read more

We stopped in at Donut Factory in the late morning to grab some donuts before heading to Sequoia. They had an amazing and fresh selection to choose from. The service was quick and friendly, and we left with an assortment of fluffy and delicious donuts. They had the classics plus some creative options for those who are a bit more adventurous than my kiddos. They enjoyed their usuals- glazed twisted and chocolate long John with sprinkles. We also got some yummy donut holes to share. The shop was clean and full of options. I would definitely recommend it to others. read more

Excellent donuts and croissants, always friendly service, even at 5:30am! Clean as a whistle. Highly recommend!

The best donut's in Visalia all the time the give best attention verry clean location

I love this place. I literally drive by at least 7-8 donut places (that I know of) just to come here. Everything is always so fresh and honestly their items they sell at the Donut Factory look like works of art. The food and drinks are great. I'm a fan of their green Thai tea with tapioca boba. I've never had anything like it and it is an amazing alternative to the black tea in the traditional Thai tea. The staff is beyond nice and it's very genuine. They remember customers and are accommodating. Try this place out, you won't regret it. read more

Heads up, mochi donuts only available on Fridays! This was a very standard donut shop. The colorful pictures here on yelp is what drew me in. So many pretty colorful donuts that looked unique. However, when I went in, there were only your typical standard donuts, like jelly filled, glazed, maple bars, apple fritters, etc. None of the colorful and unique looking donuts pictured here on yelp were available. When I showed the lady behind the counter, the picture of the banana donut she said they don't make that anymore. They also said mochi donuts are only available on Fridays. I bought some donut holes and a sprinkled strawberry doughnut. They were good but very standard and nothing special. read more

I was looking for a new donut place since I had moved over to the Caldwell/Mooney area. I went on Yelp and saw Donut Factory has 5 stars which is hard to get on Yelp! I decided to check them out and WOWZA! I see why they have a 5 STAR RATING! Not only are there donuts great, the prices are fair, the customer service is outstanding AND their donuts are unique, different and innovative! I saw a Boston Creme donut, donuts with Fruity Pebbles sprinkled on top, some with marshmallows or gummy worms! Oreos! Or my personal favorite the maple BACON bar! I love that they change up their donuts to match the current season or holiday! Donut Factory is officially my new donut place and I will recommend them to anyone who'll listen! read more

I got to the location at 6:05 to buy treats for my work team (they open at 6:00). Upon arrivals, someone was unloading donuts into the store from the back of the van. I was disappointed to see they are not made fresh at the location. But I was in a rush to get to work so as I entered, as the man said "one moment I'll be right there to help you". As I waited, someone else was putting the trays of donuts in the case. I waited 6 mins and eventually asked "are you able to help me? Or do I need to wait for him?" They said "I need to finish loading the donuts." So I waited another minute or so and just decided to leave. read more

I love going to this place. The donuts are always fresh and soft to eat. And what's nice about their goods is that its not greasy and sweet as other places. The price is just right and the people who work there are super nice! The store is always clean, well organized, and they occasionally have unusual flavors to try out (like matcha/cereal/etc). Definitely check this place out! They take great care on their stuff. Worth the money! read more

Went in at 8:15am and they had an amazing selection. The employees greet every one that walks in and give great customer service. They were also wearing mask and requiring mask which I appreciated. We will never go back. They were out of almost all donuts. There was no one buying donuts. Probably, everyone has learned they will be out of donuts early. Drove all the way from LA just for these donuts. Fresh soft and tasty. Clean and sweet welcome from the little khmer owner. I came here for sequoia trip but end up at this little donut shop, surprising me to taste the freshness of the donuts they made. In pursuit of the best donuts in Visalia, we have eaten more than our share of bad donuts! Finally! Finally the coveted title can be filled and awarded to The Donut Factory, on Mooney Blvd. in Visalia. The married couple who run this establishment are apart of a larger family owned shops and while there are other locations of The Donut Factory in both Visalia and Tulare, this is the only location we frequent on a regular basis. We have tried the North Visalia location but it's just not the same as the Mooney site. This couple run a tight and tasty ship. They are ready at all hours of any given morning and the racks of donuts are filled and fresh! They typically have two types of coffee brewed with all of the required non-dairy creamers at your disposal. I have never seen a restaurant or shop floor so clean that I would not hesitate to pick up any dropped breakfast pastry and eat it, regardless of any legitimate "10-second" rule. This is, hands down, our favorite donut shop in Visalia. read more
