The freshest tastiest donuts ever, such a good flavor and quit the variety Definitely recommend this place read more

Always great and service is inviting. I love the drive thru access and the options of donuts and croissants!

Love this local hidden gem! Would recommend coming here for fresh donuts and quick service. They take card and cash. PARKING: Free in the parking lot it is located at. Careful when exiting behind the building to go onto Park Street, it's a bigger dip than I expected. DRIVE THRU: If you are on Houston, the drive thru window on the right side (might be obscure due to lack of sign). DONUTS: They offer a ton of variety. My favorite so far has been the BLUEBERRY OLD-FASHION, which for some reason tasted better than their regular BLUEBERRY donut. I also love a classic VANILLA SPRINKLE donut which was exactly how I expected it to taste. read more

This use to be my favorite place to go to cause the doughnuts were soft and melt in my mouth type. I went recently and they are NOT THE SAME AS THEY USE TO BE I don't know if the owner changed or it's because of the staff but they taste like Scotty's doughnuts now unfortunately. I hope they get there original taste back but for now I am not going back I am going to have to find another place. So sad read more

I have tried a-lot of the donuts shops in Visalia, since I moved here 8 years ago. Yes their choices is limited when you wake up late and yes they put donuts in separate bags, ask for a box for heaven sake's. This is not a coffee shop, so don't expect Starbucks and if you feeling get hurt because they don't make small talk go to Dutch... This is a Veteran owned donut shop, the baker retired, he had to learn how to bake in a couple weeks and he is there everyday working hard. I go more than once every week to support this military family. Great attitude when I see him in the mornings and his wife always smiling. Donuts are delicious and the cream cheese danish hits the spot on my mornings commute to work . read more

Ok so every donut you can possibly think of is amazing. They are all so fresh they melt in your mouth. The chocolate glaze donuts run out fast but the chocolate bar was just as impressive. I was most excited about the croissant ham, cheese, and jalapeño sandwich one word! Amazing! read more

Picked up a dozen for my coworkers, $16 for a dozen?!?! Ridiculous. Most other places charge under $10. I felt ripped off. Nothing special about these donuts to make them almost double the price. read more

Why doesn't this AMAZING location for donuts have a line coming out of its drive thru!? Don't let the surrounding area put you off from coming here. The people are nice, the workers here are always helpful, kind and make the best product! The donuts are soft raised and have the most delicious flavor! I forgot to take pics, the second I bit into my glaze donut was when I melted! Places like this are hidden gems in plain sight! read more

Doughboy Donuts lives true to it's name. These donuts are the doughiest and fluffiest I've ever had. THE best in Visalia. It takes about a full second to bite into one of these pillowy glazed, delights--no exaggeration here! While many of the donuts sell for $0.90 each, $8.00 will get you a mixed dozen. Don't be reluctant due to it's rundown appearance and shady area, these fresh donuts are worth a try. It seems the good people of Visalia are well-aware of this spot too because these donuts sell out fast. My only qualm is that the glaze and sugared layers could look more appealing. Despite this, it does not disrupt the taste and surely, a place I'll visit often when i'm in town. As a big lover of Ham & Cheese Croissants, I fully endorse them here as they're doughy, spicy, and can be had for only $2.50! I assume Doughboys tends to the demographic too since each of these croissants are packed with jalapeños. I just wish the meat, cheese, dough, and jalapeño ratios were better since I kept wishing I had more meat at each bite. ---- Conclusion: Not a donut spot that can compare to the imagination and skill of the donuts shops in LA/OC, but comes impressively close. I'll drive out of the way for doughboys any time I'm in town with zero regrets--I just hope they won't sell out by the time I get there. Extra Notes: -Accepts credit card -Drive Thru available -Two of the nicest Asian ladies you'll ever meet own this place -Establishment could use a makeover--looks old -Small parking lot -3 tables outside -Charges $0.50 for water--boo. -No restroom read more

My wife and I take the kids here often for a fun treat. The donuts are excellent, the prices fair, and the staff are very nice. Can't say I have had a donut here I didn't care for. Their ham and cheese croissants aren't bad either. Reminds me of how Scotty's Donuts used to taste years ago. Definitely our favorite donut place in town. read more

Delicious doughnuts. The location is alright, especially since you could stay in the car if you'd like. But while the doughnuts are delicious, they are a bit too sweet for me. It's like eating pure sugar. I don't know, I'd rather go to Scotty's across the street because they are a little less sweet and dense. read more

I just moved to the area and was craving a donut. I looked to Yelp for recommendations. It was a little busy when I went at 9:30am but I decided it was worth the wait to try. The line went quick and the lady was very friendly. I was hoping to try a chocolate twist but they were sold out. I ordered donut holes and a chocolate bar, which totaled to $2.70. I got about 10 donut holes in an order, there's only 5 left in the picture after my drive home (I couldn't help myself). They were tasty, light and airy. I definitely recommend trying them. read more

Caution! There is a pole in the parking lot that you MUST be aware of if you park here to get doughnuts! Ok, with that out of the way, the doughnuts are great. Fresh and a big variety. I love this place. It's kind of a hole in the wall, but it looks clean on the inside. And they have a drive thru! I sometimes stop in the morning to get donuts for the office and everyone here loves them. The women who work the counter are all really sweet and friendly. It's in kind-of a sketch part of town, but I think it's worth a trip out there. read more

Yummy, fresh donuts for cheap. Always recommend the chocolate sprinkle donut! :)

Best donuts around. The chocolate and maple rounds are the best around!! Get there early for the best selection.

Best donuts in town. If you been in Visalia for a long time this was the Houston Hut. Now new owner for 2 years have returned to make great donuts from the best products you can use. I am a friend of the owner and i see what he makes everything with. They always keep it very clean inside and if you think you seen them before you might have when they ran a shop a few hundred feet from this one. Not only are they the best tasting donut in town in my opinion, he makes sure they look good to (very professional) Hamburgers and frys are top notch also along with other lunch items. Give it a try i believe you will return for more... read more

When I was pregnant with my son donuts was all I wanted to eat so I would come here a lot. It was the closest to me. The lady is nice and fast with getting your food. I still come here even now, been ordering the same thing every time. Glaze and a French vanilla. Sometimes coconut here and there or a sprinkle donut for my daughter. read more

I feel bad about this review but it's my honest opinion. Donuts here are delicious! My husband and I have been coming here for years, however they lost customers today. The owners attitude seems to be great somedays and terrible others. When I pulled up to the window she acted like I was inconveniencing her for being there, placed my order and she barely said a word. Took my money with barely a thank u. I left and found I didn't get 1 of my doughnuts and my coffee had hardly any cream, looked like chocolate. I understand people have bad days but I'm all about customer service. read more

I was turned on to this place and have gone several times. This and my last visit were less than a good experience. I ordered 4 items three of them placed in a one bag and 1 item in another bag. The bags at best were for two items. The bag with three items tore when I picked it and the donuts fell. The owner said they were in the bag when she gave them to me and would not even provide a replacement. She walked away and clearly was not interested in fixing a problem I did not create. Back to Scottys I go. read more
