My family and I have been getting doughnuts here for a few years now. Each time is amazing and no complaints. Best doughnuts in Visalia and very friendly staff.

Ham, cheese, jalapeño croissant sandwich. Take it home and heat it up!

Ok so every donut you can possibly think of is amazing. They are all so fresh they melt in your mouth. The chocolate glaze donuts run out fast but the chocolate bar was just as impressive. I was most excited about the croissant ham, cheese, and jalapeño sandwich one word! Amazing!

Omg these must be illegal! These are probably the best donuts I've ever had. I asked for filled and I think filling is an understatement! They are huge, fluffy filled to the max! I found my new favorite guilty pleasure!

Doughboy Donuts lives true to it's name. These donuts are the doughiest and fluffiest I've ever had. THE best in Visalia. It takes about a full second to bite into one of these pillowy glazed, delights--no exaggeration here! While many of the donuts sell for $0.90 each, $8.00 will get you a mixed dozen. Don't be reluctant due to it's rundown appearance and shady area, these fresh donuts are worth a try. It seems the good people of Visalia are well-aware of this spot too because these donuts sell out fast. My only qualm is that the glaze and sugared layers could look more appealing. Despite this, it does not disrupt the taste and surely, a place I'll visit often when i'm in town. As a big lover of Ham & Cheese Croissants, I fully endorse them here as they're doughy, spicy, and can be had for only $2.50! I assume Doughboys tends to the demographic too since each of these croissants are packed with jalapeños. I just wish the meat, cheese, dough, and jalapeño ratios were better since I kept wishing I had more meat at each bite. ---- Conclusion: Not a donut spot that can compare to the imagination and skill of the donuts shops in LA/OC, but comes impressively close. I'll drive out of the way for doughboys any time I'm in town with zero regrets--I just hope they won't sell out by the time I get there. Extra Notes: -Accepts credit card -Drive Thru available -Two of the nicest Asian ladies you'll ever meet own this place -Establishment could use a makeover--looks old -Small parking lot -3 tables outside -Charges $0.50 for water--boo. -No restroom

They were ok. Just simply donuts, but could use more variety. The specials that they carry were nice, especially the Strawberry and Crème

I've definitely been coming here since the beginning, thanks to my mom! It's stood out from the very beginning & I love how much they have expanded. There's something for everyone on their men. I think they have some of the best matcha's around (but if you drink your matcha with LOTS of sweetener.. you probably won't like a real matcha from here) -- I say this bc people complain that it taste like GRASS... and well, it damn near is (green tea leaves) lol -- all jokes aside, their drinks and food are all hand crafted and all made and / or roasted in house! I have not once ever had a complaint about this place. I love the ambience inside and out. Plenty of spaces to work from (one of my fav spots) Service is always ask expected for hand crafted drinks and food! The workers are always very knowledgeable about their menu items & products, love that! Their pop tarts... if you can get them when they have them.. TRY THEM OUT!! Actually, all their pastry's and breakfast items are delicious! (I just always forget to take pictures) haha I will always come here for food/homemade pastries , a drink or to work!

You find it because someone told you about it, or because you were looking for a place that feels a little more city than Central Valley. Brick walls, hanging art, a patio out front call it rustic, call it urban, call it hipster. Whatever the word is, it fits. Inside, the place hums. Not the quiet hum of a sleepy café, but the full‑volume buzz of people who treat coffee shops like co‑working spaces. The whole back section was a sea of laptops when I walked in, a slow tide of remote workers drifting out as the hour passed. Young folks, older folks, groups talking over each other a mix that tells you this spot has become a kind of community hub, even if the noise makes it hard to read without noise‑canceling buds. I came for a simple moment, a London Fog and a book. The tea was good, made with Rishi, a brand I'd never heard of but wouldn't mind trying again. I sipped it slowly, trying to sink into the page, but the chatter kept pulling me back to the room. Not a bad thing, just not the right place for quiet reflection. Some cafés are built for solitude; this one is built for motion. The staff was friendly, your standard modern barista crew, casual, quick, and easygoing. They run a tight operation, even offering mobile orders, something you usually see in bigger industrial coffee spots. Pastries, sandwiches, teas, espresso, the menu covers all the bases. Finding the entrance was its own adventure. Two doors, a divider in the middle, and a moment of "Wait... which side do I go through?" Not a dealbreaker, just one of those quirks that makes you laugh once you figure it out. Lighting is interesting here, low lamps mixed with a flood of natural light pouring in from the center of the shop. It gives the place a warm‑meets‑industrial feel, like a café that grew out of a warehouse and decided to keep the personality. Will I come back? Maybe. It's a great spot for people‑watching, conversation, or getting work done. But for reading, for sinking into a book with a drink, it's a place that demands either silence from the world or silence from your earbuds. Component Coffee Lab is loud, lively, and loved, just not quiet. And maybe that's the point.

Although they offer pastries, cookies, bagels, and breakfast items, I wasn't hungry, but I was definitely tempted. The cashiers were nice, helpful, and seemed to genuinely enjoy what they were doing. The coffee was really good, but what I enjoyed most was the atmosphere. The shop is in an old building with high ceilings and large windows. There are different seating areas with tables, couches, and large stuffed chairs, and the space is decorated with vintage items. As I sat there, I realized it is called "Mission Coffee" for a reason: everything sold at the café supports the Visalia Rescue Mission. There were signs showing the number of meals and showers they have provided. Along with having a really good coffee shop experience, it felt good knowing that my purchase was supporting a meaningful cause.

It was such a nice little surprise to see one here. I was debating between the Vietnamese coffee and the Creamy Jasmine drink, but since this was just a small evening treat, I didn't want something as strong as Vietnamese coffee. I ended up ordering the Jasmine milk tea. I made the mistake of choosing regular ice and regular sweetness. After my first sip, I was surprised at how sweet it was -- I don't remember Teaspoon drinks being quite this sweet before. If I could redo my order, I would definitely go with 25% sweetness. I actually ended up diluting my drink with a bit of water to balance it out. That said, the boba itself was great -- perfectly chewy and fresh. The shop was also very clean, nicely laid out, and had plenty of tables to sit and relax. There was also plenty of parking outside, which is always a plus. All in all, Just be mindful of the sweetness level when you order!
