Husband had the bacon breakfast burrito and I had the French toast and bacon. Literally the best.

The service is always outstanding. Love the waitresses so much. The cooks are always consistent too. I'd rather support this small business over any other place. Best breakfasts around for sure. Love the French toast and waffles. Their breakfast burritos are so good and they're pretty big too.

Following a disappointing experience nearby, we decided to give this place a try -- and we're so glad we did. The 50's-themed atmosphere was warm and inviting, and even with a 15-minute wait, the staff managed everything smoothly. We were seated, served drinks immediately, and our order arrived within 15-20 minutes -- perfectly timed and delicious, especially the house crispy pancakes. The service was exceptional; our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made sure our drinks stayed filled throughout the meal. As first-time guests, we were thoroughly impressed and will absolutely return. We left satisfied, grateful, and happy to leave a generous tip in appreciation of such great service. Truly enjoyed every bite!

Thank you Laura (owner) and Lisa our talented server for another delicious adventure in Visalia. Service was definitely 5-star. Big plates of great diner food - biscuits and gravy, home fries, waffles, crisp bacon, pancakes, onion rings, burgers and more. Classic diner decor and lots of kitschy art on the walls. Skilled short-order chef Abraham is a star performer. Clearly a locals favorite, we were happy to be part of the crowd. Simple things mean so much. I ordered a very basic eggs with bacon and potatoes. I asked for eggs over medium - perfect! Bacon extra crips - perfect! And country potatoes - red potatoes with bell peppers and onion asked to be slightly crisp - also perfect! Did I leave hungry - hardly. And my husband who enjoyed a waffle with eggs and bacon - also perfect!

You want pancakes? Biscuits? Hash Browns crispy? Omelette? Dimples Diner does all of these perfectly. The menu is classic diner and the prices are good. Their coffee is a little too "diner" style for me. If you can't stomach bad coffee, then get an OJ. The walls are full of amusing vintage posters and photos. There are other vintage pieces around like gas pumps and toys. The exterior looks like a classic East coast rail car diner. They have a wraparound neon sign on the facade but I heard it doesn't work? All the seating is red vinyl booths and counter seating. Their mascot is a riff on Betty Boop, hance the name "Dimples" There's plenty of parking in their lot but sometimes it's so busy that the lot is full!? This is also a hub of the community where many of the guests are regulars who chat with the owner and other members of the staff. This place was recommended to us by our tow truck driver from West Coast Towing. He has lived in Visalia all his adult life. I highly recommend West Coast Towing and Dimples Diner for a taste of Visalia.

Come out and support your local small business. Staff were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Ambiance is pretty laid back. They have parking around the corner and the wait was probably less than 30mins. The menu was a little confusing to me, but just ask for clarification. Our waitress was very helpful in clarifying any misunderstanding on the menu. Breakfast for 3 was about $71 (with different side orders) If you're on a road trip and need to grab breakfast, stop by here. Note: food is a little on the greasy side, so be aware if you have a sensitive stomach

Holy food. Prepare to be stuffed walking out of here. Service was so nice, food was everything you'd want from a classic breakfast, and the ambiance is unmatched. A real classic.

    Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich

If you want old fashioned diner food, this is the place. Everything I've ever ate here has been delicious. Chicken Friend Steak is great! Burgers are juicy and delicious. Today was the ultimate breakfast sandwich with seasoned French fries and I was in a food coma after. So bomb.

This is half of the chicken fried steak and hash browns with biscuit and gravy.

Had chicken fried steak w8th hash browns and scrambled eggs with a side of biscuit and gravy . Share the plate with my husband this was my portion very tasty and super filling.

Grimy table edge once was shiny chrome.

The good: My steak burrito with fresh house made salsa was very good. The Bad: We waited an 1/2 hour in a hot waiting area with little to no AC & broken chairs. More Bad: This place needs a good cleaning & a refresh on its faded worn & missing decor. I hope the owner puts some money into it so the good food can be enjoyed.

Great old school diner! The vibes are vintage. The food is great with large portions. Our favorite was the french toast and hash browns! Service was quick and the wait also went fast. If you are looking for a classic diner with griddle food, this is it!

Great place for breakfast. Place is back to old times diner. The waitress was GREAT, she got our order correct first time. Food was very good, make sure to ask how many eggs the order has you might have to split it. One veggie omelette was four eggs.

We were in Visalia Over the weekend and found this diner. When we arrived it was pretty busy so there was some wait. We were finally seated and it was so cute inside and the server waa super sweet. The food was good we had some waffles, omelette and some chicken fingers. Everything was pretty good.

Best breakfast in town! The people who work there are soooo nice. Not real big so at times you have to wait. But it's worth it!!

Small local business, so please support LOCAL! Their food was exceptional. The shrimp spring rolls were light but filling and they provide both a peanut sauce (actually can taste the peanut in the sauce (I think they may use peanut butter) and a traditional vinegar fish sauce dip. The wife ordered the vermicelli with sliced pork. It looks like a deconstructed version of a spring roll = soooo good and I got the dry noodle with garlicy fried chicken. The chicken was perfectly fried and crispy while the noodles were lightly seasoned and cooked in a sweet fish sauce. DONT OVER LOOK THIS PLACE! ITS A MUST TRY!!! BTW: the owners are super sweet too! There was an elderly gentleman who was down on his luck, who came inside. He asked two young girls who were dining for money just for drink (100 degree day). The young cashier didn't miss a beat and treated the man with kindness gave him the drink he ordered plus made him a large to-go water and then asked if he had eaten today. He said, "no". Then a short conversation started from the back and the owners fed the man. Me and my wife called the cashier over and told her we'll pay for his food but the owner kindly declined. Before we left we had a nice conversation with the owner and hopefully next time in town my wife can do some return business with a catering order. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and grabbed seats at the bar. Sam was our server and was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot on. The food absolutely did not disappoint. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Taco Salad, and it was enormous! The tortilla shell was so crispy and well-made that it actually held up for leftovers the next day. The jalapeño ranch had the perfect amount of heat and flavor. We also tried the Drunken Chicken Sandwich. Sam recommended getting it breaded, and I'm glad we listened. The homemade breadcrumb coating was light, crispy, and flavorful without being overly thick or salty. For appetizers, we shared the Fried Pork Belly Bites, which were paired with a delicious coleslaw and a sweet Korean-style BBQ sauce, and the Deviled Eggs, which were AMAZING. They came prepared three different ways, making it fun to try each variation. Honestly, I couldn't pick a favorite. Their beer selection was impressive, and I was especially excited to find Crow & Wolf's Dark Wolf Seltzer on tap, one of my favorites and not something you see everywhere. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of character. Even the ladies' restroom had quirky, fun artwork that added a unique touch to the atmosphere. The size and amount of tv's was impressive. If you're looking for a relaxed vibe, great drinks, exceptional service, and food that delivers, I highly recommend checking this place out. We'll definitely be back.
